This makes me thankful that my location is still open. Sure it got the remodel and ditched almost all the classic parts about it. But at least it’s still alive and functioning. Still takes me back to the good times whenever I see it

There was another Chuck E Cheese in Medford, OR. It closed in the early 90s from what I have heard. My understanding is that it must've closed down due to low profitability. I wish there were actual photos of the Medford CEC. A bar place took over and it didn't last that long until 1991 and then, a beauty school took over.

Also, I live in Exeter, NH and Newington was our closest Chuck E. Cheese location ever. I loved this place until it was the final date, which I was sad about. The bad news came out for the Chuck E. I have a Chuck E. Cheese’s within 30 minutes of my home and it still has arcade lights on. There is still hope for Chuck E. Cheese to stay for a comeback
And fun fact, the old Streamwood location (the Chuck E. Cheese location that I went to a long time ago) opened on February 27, 1990, and it had a 2-Stage, all the way up until it closed and relocated on June 5, 2014, moved across the parking lot, in the former space, where TCF Bank used to be, right next to the former Value City Furniture (which used to be Value City first, which later closed, now vacant) later became a furniture store, which later closed, and the building was demolished in early 2018, and the site is now an Andigo Bank.
Correction: It actually opened around 1991, and I'm assuming it had a Road Stage, before it got a 2-Stage around 1992.

We use to go to Chucky E Cheese's restaurant many times when I was a kid. Seeing these closed down makes me sad.
When I searched up chuck-e-cheese on the Google map, I saw that the one in Montgomeryville pa just closed and now it is gone. We lost another one rip😭😭😭🤧😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧🤧

The one near me in Santa Maria, CA is still open. However, it’s not the original CEC in town. The original one was right next to Kmart originally. That location closed sometime in the late 80s or early 90s and the current location was built near Walmart in the early 2000s and it’s still waiting for the green light to reopen #recallnewsom
The kmart went abandoned but the chuck e cheese was apart of it as I see the PTT label scar along with the photos they leave on the outside scars new location has none
Here's an honorable mention. I mentioned it here because almost nobody knows about it.
Jacksonville, FL (Beach Blvd) 1980?-1984? Opened next to the BIG Kmart on University Blvd after August 1980 to compete with the Showbiz Pizza Place on Atlantic Blvd (Still operating, most of my CEC videos were shot in this location). Closed in 1984 due to Pizza Time Theatre's bankruptcy. In 2011, it briefly became a Uniform Destination before moving to an abandoned RadioShack across the street in 2017.

News say that in south Portland they closed it in 2012 days and they are still closed for two little weeks
Harlem still has their chuck sign up on the far right of the store and there are still spray paintings on the windows showing their take out deals but everything else has been removed
