I regret not appreciating these animotranics more. The only memories I have with them as a kid was occasionally starring at them for a while while playing arcade games.
The newest models are cute and i dont want them to go. I really perfere them more than a dance floor where they play the same stupid pop songs, and i have no choice but to watch people dance badly
I feel the same way. I never actually appreciated the animatronics so much when I went to Chuck E Cheese (which was mostly when I was invited to a little kid's birthday mutually), I just ignored them and did the arcade games. Over quarantine, I became more interested in animatronics and that sort of thing, so I built up the resolve to go to Chuck E Cheese myself after the pandemic to appreciate the animatronics more. Then, it shut down, which was absolutely devastating. What's worse is the fact that they're removing the animatronics for...a dance floor? My local Chuck E. Cheese’s has never had a full animatronic band, but they’ve always had Chuck. I remember sitting and watching him because he was mesmerizing to me. For most of my childhood (born in 2001), our Chuck E. Cheese just had this static model, one hand on the mic and the other outstretched, and he'd just swivel back and forth slowly. Kids would hop on the stage and high-five him, knowing full well they weren't supposed to. One day, when I was around 14 and obsessed with Five Nights at Freddy's, I came back for my little brother's birthday party, and since we came in at opening time, I got to watch them turn on a brand-new animatronic (the newest, friendliest-looking model). I watched as he bent and twisted, arms flailing, eyes darting and teeth gnashing. It was incredible. I hope that some stages will still be around these days.
my local chuck e cheese has the eyebrow one and in person, it just stands still with the occasional gesture then when its birthday time they have the guy in the costume show up and dance and sing, and the animatronic is just chilling its honestly genius because the last time I went it was for my brothers birthday party and me and my friend were bored while he was doing the ticket blaster so we just messed with the animatronic poking it and crap it was honestly pretty fun. When I was like 6 I asked one of the employees why there was 2 Chucky's (the guy in the costume and the animatronic) and this poor mans said the animatronic was his cousin
Probably because they aren't using latex masks. Latex is the rubber-like material that the rockafire explosion used for their masks, so it would fit more smugly around the face. With Chuck E Cheese using plastic, it doesn't wrap around the face as well.
I remember going in 2011 when I was 6, I was terrified of the Chuck E Cheese animatronic, but then I went again when I was 8, and I actually found him to be pretty cool. I 100% agree with you, I think them taking away the animatronics is complete bs!
R.I.P The robots 1979-2020 They said the robots were ruining childhoods of millions over the years. Some almost looked like FNaF versions. We might not or might will pay respects to these robots who didn’t mean to ruin those childhoods.
@@isaiahjones3427 No need for the sarcasm, looking back it was quite a weird comment…but I still mean it. Looking at all these kids running around in the videos just being well…kids is just crazy to me to think that they have grown pretty old now, leaving me wonder what they have become and done with their lives.
I grew up with a 1993 model. I remember wanting so bad to go in the ticket blaster. Nowadays, the ticket muncher is gone, the coins are gone, the stage is restricted to scheduled birthdays only, and the kids are all gone. I remember needing to actively avoid the huge gaggles of kids everywhere, telling my friend to get off the stage when he went up to touch Chuck, sharing coins with random kids just to play together. It’s all gone. Growing up isn’t as fun as I thought it may be.
The Chuck E Cheese place I grew up around had the 1999’s animatronics, I don’t think the ‘2002’ versions came until a bit later especially since I didn’t start seeing new commercials for Chuck E Cheese until around 2008 or 2009. Chuck E was definitely my favorite out of ‘em all, man. I remember going there several birthdays, and one time literally trying to hug his animatronic self on his own stage, but he didn’t hug me back lol. Got plenty of hugs from him in ‘mascot’ form. Always loved him.
0:00 the portrait show (1977 - 1991) 0:29 the balcony stage (1979/prototipe - 2001) 1:59 the rocker stage (1987 - 2022) 2:48 the CU stage/ 3 stage (plastick Mask version) (1999 - present) 4:18 the 1- stage (1992 - present) 6:13 the studio C stage (1998 - present) 6:46 the dance floor (2015/early version - present)
And with just a guy wearing clothes and a Chuck head. I get that the costumes were smelly, but if they don't wanna go that route, guess what? Animatronics don't sweat.
I think cartoony animatronics and costumes are a good way to go. The worst thing you can do with realistic characters based on animals is give them lifeless human eyes. The last animatronic looked good, but all the others look like a dead body being manipulated. There’s something called the uncanny valley where if something has human features that are really close, but not right, it’s terrifying. The eyes look so uncanny because of the whites of the eyes. Animals never show the whites of their eyes and if an animal has human like eyes, it’s scary
I dont think this harm is real. Also if a kid does get stuffed there soul dont be there. Lol. However it could be security having cameras making sure no 1 id tampering with them.
Imagine sitting there watching chucky and his friends and then one of them looks at you for 10 seconds Like this if that ever happend to you DANG that must be creepy I haven't even been able to see them move in front of my eyes only on yt
Once I was at Chuck E Cheese and I was watching the show and then the power went out for 10 seconds and the animatronics were all looking at me expect Jasper for some reason
Its crazy how the 1993 phase was probably the weirdest thing about Chuck E Cheese for me. They remodeled Showbiz Restaurants but kept the stage layout. Rolfe DeWolfe was replaced with Chuck. E. Cheese even keeping the same background. Mitzy Mozzarella Being replaced with Helen Henny, Then Dook LaRue althought being in Helens spot was swapped to Billy Bobs spot where he was replaced by Pasqually, Then Fatz Geronimo was replaced with Mr. Munch, and Beach Bear being replaced by Jasper. Its insane how they even kept the Looney Bird (which would be in Pasquallys side) was replaced with Pizza cam (which was limited in some locations as they didnt add it in most 1993 stages.) Even up to replacing the little critter guy (which i cant find his name) as a mini Mr. Munch although had the same case as Pizza cam. So Billy Bob and Earl, (Rolfe's Puppet) were told to be discarded but obviously employees wanted to keep them as a relic. Its crazy how they just had the flesh of the Rock A Fire animatronics in each 1993 Animatronic, and I grew up for a small bit of my childhood with a 2 Stage before it turned into a C stage (specifically alpha) until they rebranded it to the "Chuck E. Cheese 2.0". I think this was a bad choice for the company although the new generation of kids literally probably wont care and will be fine without them. but it has ruined many peoples childhoods. EDIT: i have just found out searching through the wiki, they kept the Moon animatronic from the background and kept the sun or the spider and changed it but i cant seem to find it, and yes, i was wrong. I got a mandela effect thinking Rolfe had a star in the background but he actually had a rainbow so, yeah. surprising how this francise has grown out so much.
DUMB Landon Once I was at chucky cheese for my little cousins birthday and chucky came out and threw tickets but nobody got them. DUH. Who would go near that creep. Then somebody put their stroller over the tickets and the manager was like “NO NOOOOOO DONT YOULL RUIN THE TICKETSSSS” and all that shit. Chucky cheese sucks because nobody even cares. And nobody even watches the animatronics anymore, so why are they there. They just should have music on. Kids care more about the games than the singing creeps.
She is a chicken and I know Chuck E. Cheese serves chicken on it's menu she's probably witnessed her own kind being eaten on a regular basis and she's powerless to do anything about it, if she speaks out against Charles Entertainment Cheese and his mistreatment of fowl she'll be swiftly killed and eaten by unsuspecting visitors and replaced by another chicken and no one will notice because for most people all chickens look the same.
I am 100% if not waaaaay more with you it makes me really mad that they are replacing the animatronics I already know they replaced the ones at my location
yh i have heard about it and i have heard about other scary incidents of chuck e cheese its disgusting tbf there was a chuck e cheese what was really cute but the old chuck e cheese are dead scary but how come its bankrupt why is it shuttig im hella confused hope you read this x
Here in Russia when I was very young. We didn't have animatronics. And at some point, people dressed as dolls began to spread. I found my childhood photos. Where I stand surrounded by people dressed as Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes ducks and Little Red Riding Hood (they looked like 2002 animatronics). There were so many people doing shows like this. Now they seem to have disappeared. Already at an older age, I was taken to a park with dinosaurs. The park tells stories about everyone, complementing the story with a dinorobot. They looked like animatronics! There was even a big dinosaur. Twice as tall as a human. He just moved and opened his mouth 🦖🦖🦖
It breaks my heart to read some of these comments. A lot of people are saying they stopped looking at the animatronics. But at least for me, that's what drew me there. I loved just sitting down eating a bunch of pizza with my mom. I went last year and they still had the animatronic but it had the spiral background instead. I liked the games but not as much as the animatronic since even if you played all day you usually only had enough tickets for the cheap stuff at the bottom, Wich you'd eventually lose anyway. At this point if they get rid of all the animatronics I'm done with Chuck E cheese. I have a local Dave and Busters anyways. I really hope something can save this restaurant. 💗🧀 Edit. A year later. I don't think any of the animatronics are gonna stay. But I've changed my mind a bit. I'll still go. It just won't be the same.
I remember going and being amazed by the animitronics. I live right next to one and we can go next to the animitronics and all i thought was fnaf and I got scared when my friend went next to one
Show biz Pizza! I remember in the late 80's here in California they had the duck cheerleader and Gorilla on keyboards. They all were creepy asf but still fun to watch
the stage at my chuck e cheese used to spin around, kids werent aloud to be on it but i have a vivid memory of going on it and it spinning around and i was stuck behind the stage until it spun around again
One minor error I happened to notice: Chuck E. Cheese didn't actually buy out Showbiz Pizza, it was actually the other way around. The reason the Showbiz characters were retired is that the creator of the characters had to leave the company if he wanted to keep the rights to his characters, which he did. Therefore, Showbiz couldn't use the characters anymore, and had to reskin the Showbiz characters to be the Chuck E. Cheese characters.
my location growing up had the 1999 style stage with them all lined up in a row. seeing that set-up brought me back to be 4-7 and going to both my own birthdays and other's birthdays. i miss the animatronics...
The Chuck E. Cheese's closest to me still has the 1993's Chuck E. Cheese animatronic but the mascot suit is the 2002 version..... MAKE UP YOUR MIND CEC!!!!!
I've only been to a chuck e cheese once. It was for some other kid's birthday party. They had a one stage, the animatronics barely moved, but i can still remember them vividly. I didn't get to sit and watch them or anything. They were kinda just in the background quietly talking n singing while kids ran around
heya freddy ! i just wanted to thank you profusely for taking the time to explain each and every stage show throughout the years. seeing their drastic changes and new movements and mechanics brought all into one video for us newbies to get a quick session of knowledge was super helpful. can’t wait to see more from your channel !! you’re doing great things, man ☺️
In order of fnaf gens for me that look like these. 1: springlocks (Its because they are the first animatronics the cec company makes) 2: unwithered/withered before being broken (it's because of how they are compared to the only cec animatronic location left) 3: originals (Because they look like the fit for new gens after toy animatronics in fnaf universe) 4: withered (They look old, creepy and dirty and the withereds are old and dirty) 5: rockstar (Sorta because they are new versions but are mostly because they are different compared to others. I'm running out of ideas of what versions each ones look like compared to fnaf) 6: sorta looking like mediocre melodies (They are new and all but its sorta the last gen irl) 7: stored/Unused (Because now they are hidden from the crowd in a dark room, who knows if they are also getting remodeled with the stages)
Getting rid of the animatronics is really sad, and not sure what the point of Chuck E. Cheese is without them. I loved those animatronics shows as a kid, and even as an adult I nostalgically enjoy them!
So when ever I see the 1979 framed ones, I get such a nostalgic feeling like iv'e seen them, but I wasn't even alive at that time?? I think iv'e seen them in my past life-
I am the only one who doesn’t find them scary? An even a Fnaf fan lol,the only thing that just makes me uncomfortable is some of the animatronics eyes that’s all lol I remember i used to be scared of them as a kid but now it makes me sad they are taking away the animatronics
I was in a spot even the head at me nice and then I switch place it follwed me around and then it gave up and started following sombody else I was relived but then again it was kinda fun trying to hide from it
I remember how disappointed I was when they went from the 1993 to the 1999 stage. They kept the 1999 stage in mine until it was replaced with the dance floor in 2020, but they did put in some kind of TV show to replace the animatronic play time years prior to that.
The first CEC opened in 1977, Balcony was introduced in 1980, Rocker was introduced in 1987, 3-stage was introduced in 1989(and CEC didn’t buy the right to Showbiz, Showbiz bought CEC in 1984 but they couldn’t get the rights to the RAE), Road Stage was introduced in 1991, 2Stage in 1992, and 1Stage in 1993, Studio C Alpha in 1998, Beta in 2000, and Beta in 2003. COL was 2012, Dance Floor was 2015
*For all those who say that the designs of the animatronics in Fnaf Plus are scary, here is the proof that they are historically accurate.* *Just look at those robots from the 90's.*

@Carson C'Hair Yeah, I found out about that recently. Hopefully they can survive this one as well.
Edit. A year later. I don't think any of the animatronics are gonna stay. But I've changed my mind a bit. I'll still go. It just won't be the same.
