I’m kinda mad and hyped simultaneously like this game looks so good because of the creative freedom, like little things I like that I wish were in destiny
Feel the same. I'm leaning towards angry, though, and frustrated. All this cool shit we've been asking for, and these guys have done it, on MOBILE tech! While Bungie can't even keep their full AAA console/pc game running bug free even when they take it offline and patch it every single week.
Imagine letting netease make a mobile game. Then they come thru with sick new supers and 6player coop activities. If I was bungie I’d be taking note. Edit: I’m just saying the stuff looks cool lol cooler than the same stuff we’d had FOREVER. Love yall
Registration is a great way for the CCP to data collect .. What we trade away to be entertained. =) NetEase ... has been listening and watching ALL the people freely complain about the base game ..and farmed that free feedback for this mobile version. Smart business.

It’s like the final blow finisher from bungie to our gut. 😂 imma still try it out obviously, but I just feel a type of way that this is even happening.
Truth be told, it's probably going to be easier to bring a new player into their mobile game than the one that has been around for many years and has a bad new player experience.
I know lots of people was saying destiny needs some sort of competition, but I didn't think a different destiny game on MOBILE of all things was gonna be the one to do it
I didn’t want a destiny 3 because I was gonna lose my stuff but seeing how this is getting me excited to learn new stuff honestly just throw my stuff away and give me a whole new game in D3. One with actual mmo and better story telling where the devs have more control
This is what they needed to do. I was calling it for years. People are going to moan and whine about having to grind new gear, but the game not getting a D3 was a terrible decision.
Idk about the rest of the game, but one thing I'm absolutely jealous about is the artstyle in the trailer. This looks much more like Destiny 1 and I really wish Destiny 2 had this.
I'm just angry they let you freely swap between third and first person modes ;l (theres an example in the trailer). WHY THE FUK ISNT THAT IN NORMAL DESTINY!?!?! Just disable it in pvp if its that much of an issue.

I have a 16 Pro. I also have a 4090 and a 21:9 monitor for my COMPUTER. Why would I want to play with my thumbs on a tiny 6 inch screen, when I have a dedicated gaming setup? It's not so much about the power or graphical capability, it's about the form factor lol..

If you meant a game so chock full of "micro transactions" that their daily/weekly/monthly income makes CEOs and shareholders instantly nut and cry tears of joy at the same time then you have guessed right (because if they would anything of the like on PC/Console then their offices would be burnt the next day and the ground where they stood would be salted and plowed). It's a mobile game, it will have so many MTs from the start that even if you would buy everything from Eververse Bungie have ever put there for silver than you would still fell far short of the truly disgusting monetization of a mobile game. Just a fun little bit of info to help you manage your expectations: netease did Diablo Immortal for Blizzard too..
@@TheGamingSpartanA113 I'm not sure that you are new to the internet, too young to own a phone, too old to own a smart phone, lived under a rock or just simply ignorant. Until you haven't seen a mobile game you won't have any idea how disgusting monetization can really be (the kind that puts the monetization in PC/console games to shame). Just FYI: Netease was responsible for Diablo Immortal, where to max out your character you had to potentially pay more than half a million dollars (no, it's not a joke).
The cool thing about a mobile destiny is it could be a low consequence testing ground for bungie to try things before adding them too normal destiny 2.

It might look good but it’s free to play… like Diablo immortal. It will be a pay-to-win nightmare. So if you got a couple hundred in disposable income every month then you’ll have a good time. Everyone else will have an obnoxious, slow, unsatisfying grind where you watch yourself fall behind all the “whales” because they bought a month of progress in 5 mins. So don’t get your hopes up. They are locking classes to single class and super. That’s so they can sell each guardian class and super separately. You’ll be paying for strikes and the associated loot after the 2-3 they a lot to be free daily. Datto’s video also said only 2 weapons slots… primary and heavy. I spent a couple years playing Star Trek Fleet Command. The pay-to-win experience SUCKS for us kind of players who like to earn their loot with effort and skill…. Not a bunch of cash.
As a Diablo Immortal free player, I don't get all the hate. I've never spent a penny on it & found it plenty fun. There's a lot of content & it feels & plays like a Diablo game. I never felt like I had to buy something to "win". My only gripe is occasional server connection drops. I'm looking fwd to at least checking out this game. The prequel timeline concept is dope.
@@thommyjacobs8921 I agree if they keep it fair monetization it will neat. I love destiny. I signed up to try it. But I don’t have any hope it will actually be good until I see that it is. As far as Diablo Immortal.. it was the high end, rare, end game gear that was pay-to-win. By this I mean you might be able to earn one of the super high tear gem from the nightmare dungeons after a month of so of grinding, because you only get a few chances a day to do them free. Sure they may offer more regular difficulty dungeons, but they don’t have the ability to drop the same tier gear. While you grind out your free attempts over the course of a month and get your single super high tier gem…. Someone paying for as many dungeons runs as they have time/money for could earn 10 in a single night. They are essentially loot boxes you work for. There’s only a small chance they drop the high tier gear and you only get so many free attempts a day. That is what pay-to-win is. So if Destiny Rising offer exotics and the new mythic gear locked behind this games equivalent of a nightfall… and you only get a couple of attempts per day. But then also offers the ability to buy more attempts… the people paying will have the ability to earn more exotics/mythic gear than free-to-play players by a huge margin. Like you I truly hope this isn’t the route we take. But the company developing this game Netease is widely known for its egregious monetization practices, which bodes poorly.
it only took a completely different company to give us new weapon types like a crossbow, new supers, third person gameplay, and six player strikes. very cool bungie

Having another studio working on the game basically gives Bungie more money to develop Destiny 2 properly.

If this new game introduces things so compelling that the entire player base wants them in D2, I think there's a pretty good chance we get those things down the road. Bungie isn't blind. We will compel them!
Would Bungie be better off letting other studios make games and stories within their IP (Destiny). Could we get a Naughty Dog studio version of Destiny?
Naughty Dog, lol. They probably would have written in Elsie beating Zavala to death and have a cutscene with Saint and Osiris banging. Asking for another studio is wishing on a monkey's paw.

Bungie devs: “look at all these incredible weapons, concepts, and characters we’ve been working on for Destiny!” Higher ups: “wow! those are amazing! Put ‘em in the mobile game”
The iPad version with a controller will give you very similar play to a console. There are several controllers which work really well with iPad and you'd be able to do AirPlay to a TV, PC or a Mac.
I can’t wait to see the microtransactions. I can’t even imagine how bad it’ll be cuz every time I think bungie can’t get greedier, they find a way to top it. They’ve had very little shame with pushing egregious micro transactions in a 60$ game at launch. Now imagine how bad they’ll be with a completely free to download game. 20$ dollar skins, your guardian will need energy to do strikes and raids, you can either spend 15$ for full energy or wait 10 hours for a refill, there will be 10$ xp boosts, 2 50 second unskippable ads pop up every 3 minutes, and it’ll be subscription based. Price will be like 90$ a year or 7$ a week lmao.

Warframe on Mobile is really really good. Literally the exact game just ported to mobile really well. Same with COD mobile
Cod mobile is its own game though separate from the mainline and warzone. You’re right about Warframe though that is a direct port.
@@CrimzonMagz well yeah, I knew Cod mobile was separate. I just worded that poorly, sorry. I just meant it plays really nicely
Here it is boys D3.....its just on mobile.
Same, while it can be annoying trying to get those 5 star gems.@@thommyjacobs8921
