I think he is spanish and germán because the name of the furry "Von"(german) wich means of and in the music I could hear the phrase "palomas volando" wich means pigeons flying (spanish). So yes simps and furries he is not only a furry but also double european

"Von" is German, translates to "Of".
Its preposition of origin or affiliation, like Furina *de Fontaine* (Genshin), Oscar *of Astora* (Dark Souls), Sébastien Le Prestre *de Vauban* (Real Life). In this case, Lycaon is just the Scientific name of Eastern Wolves. Canis Lycaon.
Could have been chosen because it sounds like a fancy play on Lycan (Lycanthrope - Werewolves).
His "name" is basically a indicative of his wolven origin, not exactly a name. Its a common thing on European inspired scenarios.

Yeah there is more influence to his design than “handsome wolf daddy”, the designs for this game have been pretty unique
