Instruction is misspelled in the title of the video, but the content and presentation was very helpful and informative. Thanks!

A hidden gem. By hidden, I mean it's actually unsearchable due to the typo in the title.

If direct instruction works why is it basically banned from use in many public schools?

Because it works and the real goal is to keep at-risk children in a hole so they can prepare them for prison. It's all a disgusting game. Nothing that really works will last for long because there's money in misery

    Hi
You need to tailor the information according to the characteristics of the medium you're using to convey them. The way of representing the content in this video is just as one would in a book or an article. So you just put up scraps of words and sentences and stutter through them (because you're reading too fast). The visual aspect could just as well not exist.
I hope this message helps. Sorry about not sugar-coating it though. All the best

Um, Jessica, pandiculation is an “involuntary” process, yet you show the visual of a woman consciously stretching. You need a better understanding of the term yourself, and you had plenty of time to research before posting the video. I recognize I am eight years late to the party, but your video typifies the ignorance that pervades society. Ignorance manifests itself in all scholastic strata, from the students, to the teachers, to the superintendents. That is one reason education is failing in the United States and indicative of a country in serious decline.
Some people are trying to change the word to include a form of conscious stretching, but reputable dictionaries do not recognize that usage. Moreover, even if one accepts the bastardized definition of the word, the picture does not represent the distinctive process that typifies conscious “pandiculation.”
