I always appreciate the background knowledge of these machine. Your explanation and stories are fun to listen to. Recently I found a Victor schoolhouse "tea cart style" cart in a antique shop. Without your videos I would have never found it!
Thanks Ben. It's great to see comments like yours. Part of my enjoyment in creating these videos is sharing some background on the player and/or the selection. I realize that some viewers may not enjoy the intros as much as those like you and me but it's easy to move the video forward to the audio at any time. I'm pleased to hear that you found one of the elusive Victor schoolhouse "tea cart" Victrolas! They are very, very difficult to find indeed. Send me some pictures of it sometime if you can. It would be nice to see another example.
Thanks for the nice comments. Whenever I have an opportunity to post a video I do. Lately I've been really busy so I've slowed down a bit from years ago when I posted a video almost weekly.
what a beautiful machine. Kudos!
Thanks Rob! Come back again anytime!

I understand you. Thank you for your answer. :-)
cool
It would have been more edifying if you showed your mounting the cylinder to the Graphophone and the needle coming into contact with the grooves.
