Lovely. I seem to recall that a lot of the Minerva folks went to Greubel after Richemont bought Minerva from the Gnutti family in 2006.

It would drive me crazy to sit and work on such small parts every day. That's why these people are true artisans and credit is due their craftsmanship !!!
BTW when are G&F coming out with a suspenders watch ?

You're absolutely right and that's why we're so immensely in love with high-end watchmaking; they are crazy!!!!! These guys are so passionate about what they do and we have so much respect for this. I can't think of other industries where people do the same things every day and remain as committed to absolute perfection, even for things that nobody will ever see at the end, but it's there, it's in this piece of art!!!!

I appreciate their passion also and hold it in high regard. That kind of passion is hard to find in any workplace in modern times...but I am glad it does exist, especially in something as spectacular as a luxury time piece. After all, these are works of wearable art and we... their gallery.

I love the fine work .
I am wondering what you use to polish those pieces. The type of wood and anything else you use with it thx . Wonderful to watch the art of perfection.

Did you ever get a reply. I'm also interested in this.i have some movements I'd like to bring up a level. Also I can never get pivots perfect after the lathe.

@@fior2373 hi no I didn't receive any reply however, I just wanted to know. You are in doing the work and I just want to know. I used to be Jeweller many years ago, I used what we called GREESE. That removed all the scratch marks from fine sand paper and then we used red Rouge for high shine. I'm guessing that's what they are doing. For white gold I used white Rouge. Try .
You can find these items in any Jewelry supplier. Good luck

one thing that always come to my mind while i see watchmakers working so carfully in sitting posture for hours, what kind of health issues or occupational hazard they experience?
