Hi! Batad Banaue is now open for tourists without any requirements needed. Only registration at the tourism center.

What month did you go? I have a trip to philippines in february but read that the terraces are greenest in summer months and i’m trying to decide if it is still worth going to see

I go there in September which technically almost the end of the harvest season. Yes I recommended going there March-May to see the full glow of the rice paddies.

For overnight stay in Batad we made a reservation. But you can walk in, marami naman pong homestay in Batad but Ramon Homestay has the best view.. [phone] yan po contact number nila for reservation.

Pahatid na kayo agad sa batad. Dun na kayo kumuha ng guide. Mas mura pa.
