When you cut those limbs off the trees, you might find it good to undercut a bit before cutting down from the upper side. This will help to avoid having a problem with 'bark hinge'. It also will avoid having the falling limb strip some bark off the main trunk. Really enjoy your videos!
Great brush cutter,I would off set the mower to one side or other,it would keep your wheeler in the mowed section, and not have to drive in the tall stuff
I have never seen such a great test of a product. You plunged right into the thick of things. I despise these videos of brush cutters going over light grass areas. Thanks and we will see about purchasing this product.
Wow! Love that machine! Cutting that ‘by hand’ would take forever, and you’d be really sore and tired afterwards. Good on Angela for wanting to save the good snake. They’re worth their weight in gold for controlling dangerous snakes and rats. Way to go, you two.
@@sam-and-angela yeah, I’m not real fond of snakes. Where I live, we have rattlesnakes, coral snakes, copperheads, and near the water we have water moccasins. Still not as bad as Australia!
Thought you were going to get lashed to pieces riding through the overgrowth , goggles would come in handy protect your eyes Sam . . ANGELA DUNDEE chasing up the snake at a rapid pace there . Lots of work ahead . Keep up the excellent work and content guys .
I had a 6 foot that used to live in my shed. We had an understanding I wouldn't kill him and he would eat every mouse he could. The past skin shed I got out was right at the 6 foot mark.
Well dang !! You are definitely not afraid of getting dirty. That's some tough work, even with the mower. I bet your covered in scratches after that, but man what a great job. Angela I would have ran the opposite direction from that bad boy. We found a rattlesnake on our property, but he got away. I'm only afraid of poisonous snakes because I don't know how to identify different kinds. I have to learn my species. But I've held many snakes (non venomous) and I like them. We have two very large live oaks on our land, they are beautiful. Can't wait to see yours once you clean up the area some more. I just sent this video to my hubby . We have been looking for a used mid size tractor. Weed whacking 25 acres just isn't possible so we were looking into something like this. Perfect timing guys, thanks so much. You guys look so giddy at the property. Exactly how we feel every time and we've already owned ours for a year and two months. Your property is beautiful so happy for you. Hey just thinking, would some type of windshield work for the quad?
One of the first things from my brother (who lives out there -- cattle farmer) was "you better find something to handle that land you just bought!" :) He has tractors and brush hogs, which maybe someday we'll end up buying for us, but this was a great solution for what we had to work with already (the ATV). Plus it's faster than his tractor. We're planning a comparison video someday between the two machines & methods.
I used a very similar rough cut mower on my place 20 acres mostly on the ends around the crop fields and pastures for 4 years. I just ordered a new tractor with loader and backhoe and box blade and most important a 6' offset flail mower. It's the best money I've ever spent. I'm 54 years old and I bought new because I'm tired of working on all of my old crap. You can get by but you need to have the right size equipment to do the job. Have fun but you to will find a tractor and mower is the way to go even it it's used.
Great little mower (brush hog for the 4 wheeler) my luck the snake would have been in the tree and smacked me in the face. Seeing you trim the trees brought back terrible memories from the past week. Just cleared my tree lines and trimmed some trees -- 26 truck loads later I am tired :)
That mower and 4 wheeler truly are beasts on that overgrowth. Lol when Angela was running and yelling I thought you mowed down a wild berry bush or the mower broke. I'm with Sam on the snake thing; I don't do snakes and since I can't tell a rat snake from any other snake they all have to go lol.
Oh wow the little amish store if it is the one we go to they have some amazing food. Just absolutely awesome what that new tool can do I am going to share this video with my brother so he can get one lol.
Well done. This is the first TH-cam I watched on my new iPhone. Loved seeing Angela use the pole saw. I’ve just bought a garden set with one. Looking forward to some garden renovation
That trail mower is the best next thing to a tractor and brush hog. Its designed the same as a brush hog and probably 20,xxx bucks cheaper. Done a great job. BTW, i don't mess with snakes either Sam, I would leave that upto my wife as well. LoL
I'm a tree man after watching these couple I was going to say they would love me there working I got to say she's working they're getting it done 👍 one state figure out the best kept secret on making the bigger stuff go away in turn it into a into a product., they will have it figured out God bless you too 🙏 looking good
I wish I had this Eathquake rough-cut mower. Instead, a couple months ago I purchased a Swisher brush mower which is 448 pounds and tires on the unit unable to carry the weight effectively. First time mowing and had a flat. Following day, noticed the other tire was half deflated. Also, drinks gasoline fast. Furthermore, raising and lowering and leveling machine complicated. One last thing, due to only two flimsy, small wheels to support mower; I found that scalping ground with mower blades happens on rough ground. My previous brush mower with four wheels mowed the same area and never ever scalped the ground.
That is quite the on-task point and ready to , " get 'er done" mowing machine you all have! Sure looks like it is an awful lot to get control of right off...but....no time like the present l say! Take care of one another and stay safe!! Peace.. .♥︎
That thing made short work of a big job! Definitely money well spent. I'm glad Sam didn't run over the snake! I would have geeked out too! 😆 I have a pet snake named Aragog.
A friend of mine has one of these to cut the brush to make horse trails on their Freisen horse farm. They love it. They use a 4X4 quad to pull it. But they do have a small kubota tractor they can use if need be.
It was rather satisfying, to watch you clean up your woods. Especially from the comfort of my couch. 😉 Perhaps someday you can get goats to help maintain the woods. Looking forward to watching your journey.
Have you thought about a chipper-shredder? You have a lot of woods there, and this machine is SO handy, not to mention all the great mulch you'll get from it!
Angela says we need one! LOL She's not used a smaller "home size" shredder, but I have. I dread the arm beatings they give so am not as excited at the idea. LOL
Another interesting video. Angela's the girl when it comes to snakes. Good for her, when she says rat snakes are good to have around. It's the monsoon season here in Thailand and the snakes are coming out of hiding. Some venomous. So it's 'look before you walk.' I wish I had your tree electric saw! Keep em coming.
That did a great job. It was rough but it kept going! I had a big snake out here too. I just left him be. He had tunnels all through the flower beds and when he was active the ground moved (and time to find another spot to work :)
Maybe Isaac would use a pair of ear protectors while near the mower. Probably all of you need to protect your ears! Looks great! Love to see drone shots when you get the pond cleaned up.

Great advice! We'll do that from now on... you may still see the 'wrong method' in the next video, but we'll fix it here forward. Thanks!!
came to the comments to say this, and it was the first comment I read. lol
@My Random 603 trying to keep me of a machine.. I like what the townys. Going back to small farmers.. Xxoo
You are spot on.. Xxoo.
That thing takes a lickin' and keeps on ticken'. Angela, you rock, you saved the snake. Smart woman.
Great brush cutter,I would off set the mower to one side or other,it would keep your wheeler in the mowed section, and not have to drive in the tall stuff

100% agree. This is the only brush cutting video I've seen actually cutting brush.
Love watching each new video I’m so excited for you.
I enjoyed watching Angela cut down the Tree Branches , and about the snake you are truly a brave woman I would run.LoL
It did do great work good job showing telling, and great great mower bush cuter thanks for showing have a great day see ya next time see ya bye.
Love that pole saw! Angela after the snake!!!! Made my day.
Wow! Love that machine! Cutting that ‘by hand’ would take forever, and you’d be really sore and tired afterwards. Good on Angela for wanting to save the good snake. They’re worth their weight in gold for controlling dangerous snakes and rats. Way to go, you two.
It's been so great to use! We've been amazed at what it chews up with ease. :) Angela's always been my protector from snakes. LOL
@@sam-and-angela yeah, I’m not real fond of snakes. Where I live, we have rattlesnakes, coral snakes, copperheads, and near the water we have water moccasins. Still not as bad as Australia!
I was wondering why you hadn't offset the mower? It would keep you clear of the "whippers" and over hang. And still get a good cut in. Jmho.
Thought you were going to get lashed to pieces riding through the overgrowth , goggles would come in handy protect your eyes Sam . . ANGELA DUNDEE chasing up the snake at a rapid pace there . Lots of work ahead . Keep up the excellent work and content guys .
Progress! Hem the weather cools down and Fall sets in, y’all will have a blast!

Wow!!!
Like seeing the possibilities and the positiveness 😀 ❤️

You go girl! I’d be standing over there with Sam.
You guys be safe.

That mower did an excellent job. Welcome to Tennessee!!!! We moved to our Tennessee homestead earlier this year and love it
That brush mower is the bomb! Also the Craftsman Saw also.
Whatever will they invent next , you are so right , it is awsome!
Love the update! Your kids look like they're content. So cute
They love the new land!!
Loved your video of the mower. We always enjoy watching your progress on the new ground and at your home too. We watch every episode!!
Hi Sam & Angela,WOW what a difference!!Sam the same here when it comes to snakes!! Angela you are brave!! 😊
You go girl. Trim that overgrowth.
My buddy had nothing but problems with his pull behind; happy to see that isn't the case with yours.
Sam, you are like MacGyver man.
I'm with you and Indiana Jones when it comes to snakes 🐍 Great job!
thank you for sharing, were headed to town in morning to visit Home Depot and take a look at the mower.
WOW! That thing is incredible
That Bush Hog sure is a beast!👹 Scary 😳 Does a fast and clean job wow 👏 👏💚💯💥 It's looking good 👍 👌
It really does the job! But everyone has to stand clear -- it throws chips, etc. a good distance sometimes. :)
Robert at Sidestep Adventure could use that machine to keep his wisteria under control. Way to go Sam! Love this one.

Why was it so fun to watch this? I wish I would have picked up the used one I saw.
Great job guys! Looking much better! Beautiful up there! God bless!
Thank you! You too!
That's what I call a super brush cut. lot's of fun.
Totally! :)
Awesome mower, thanks for showing us.
Excellent video. Excellent representation of what the cutter can do
That was a serious clearing job. Fun watching what that machine was capable of.
Oh wow the little amish store if it is the one we go to they have some amazing food. Just absolutely awesome what that new tool can do I am going to share this video with my brother so he can get one lol.
They sometimes have a donut trailer out front and on Saturdays it's crazy busy... if we're talking about the same one. :)
OMG I LOVE that mower! I need it at my house for one day.
Looking good.👍👍👍
Looks great! Thanks for taking us along!
Your mini brush hog is doing a fantastic job. I look forward to many more TN videos. Still so excited for y’all. Shalom 🕊
Man I LOVE snakes! Angela, I’m with you on that! Nice mower, too.

Wow that mower is a beast 👍

I enjoyed watching the land clearing....
Glad to hear that
That was a awesome machine. It looked very user friendly.
Missed the live chat. That thing works awesome. Save some of the limbs that you cut off for fire wood
Angela! You scared the life out of me when you ran over to mower shouting STOP! lol :p
You and me both!!!!! -Sam
Love you guys and yours videos too.
Love the brush mower looks like does a great job and fun to use.
You looked like you were having fun!
Probably more than usual. Hehehe it was fun!!

Impressive mower! I’ve seen those around but I never dreamed they would annihilate brush so easily.
That looks like an Elm tree to me.
