I love what one Devgru or Unit guy said, “ it’s not always the best guy that gets selected but the right guy!”

That quote came from Delta Force Legend, Sgt Major Pat Savidge. One of the team leaders in the 1989 hostage rescue of Kurt Muse in Panama. The 1st successful unilateral hostage rescue mission of the Units history

Unit guy... he also said Delta wants the best of what you do. Best cook, best grunt, best sapper, anything but the best the army or any other service has to offer.

I love the podcast guys. Finals for my last semester of college has been stressful but taking time to listen to new and all old episodes allows me to relax. You guys are the best!

This man came from where I come from, & lived in the same city where I grew up in. It’s so interesting to see where people who’ve had such an impact come from.

tell them you are their for them, that they xan spill their heart out or say what they feel and you'll fill in the blanks, & that they ARENT ANY LESS OF A WARRIOR & MAN if they talk about How they feel, What they feel, if they still aren't comfortable Yet about Why they feel. Little by little, swing by swing, chip away at that barrier until you Shape him back into the Man YOU know he is, & the man he Thinks He ISNT, or doesn't See in the mirror anymore! He is still him! Those feelings & thoughts weigh you down not just physically, but Spiritually, & it is infinitely more burdening on the Soul & Conscience. I always thought of it like a Soda. The Body holding in that Gas, you try to keep it bottled, but all the things you want to forget silently building up, until 1 day it will become shaken & volatile, then only mater of time before it explodes. But, get a few cups, & pour out the contents into their cup, at your own pace, until you feel that you can close the bottle, & as much as you shake it, it will never explode anymore. Not just putting out the burning thoughts that plague you, but quenching your thirst for peace, to your fill, at your own pace, among people that care about you & willing to help lift your burden. With their help, & the Lord of Redemption Jesus Christ who loves us all deeply, he will be fine if you trust in God & in each other.!❤ I'll pray for your family! 🙏
