thank you Francis, i just lost my job due covid19. I had been trying to find one for these 3 weeks. i am loosing hope but God words strengthen me and remind me that GOD will take care of me..and HE is good..
Just want to testify today ( 17/4) God answer prayer. My old boss called me, he offer my old job back with the increase of days and hours so I am starting my old job next Monday..All praise to GOD!

The first encounter I had with God was a night where I thought I would die. I was hysterical and begged God to help me through this impossible situation. I opened the Bible and this was the verse that God highlighted in my eyes as soon as I opened right to the page. "Be still and know that I am God." The first time I had an intimate moment with God and fell at his feet. Within hours my problem resolved. No one can tell me God isn't real. No one.

I am in Romania (Europe) and before things started to shut down here, in the midst of confusion and fear I asked the Lord to reveal to me what He was doing. I received Psalm 46:10-11 and Deut. 4:24. Almost exact message as Francis has received from the Holy Spirit. Praise God for revealing Himself to His church, for the Unity in the Spirit and for what He is doing in these end times to prepare us for what is going to come. May the Lord bless you brothers. Stay strong, forsake the things of the world and have the lamps filled with oil at all times. He is coming soon.

Praise Jesus that he used this to get me off the treadmill of self! I am so blessed that nothing has really changed, BUT EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED!! LOL.... None of it matters! The job, my life, nothing! To live is Christ, to die is gain! I finally am beginning to listen to Him, and how huge this really is!

Francis used the treadmill as a metaphor, I don't think he was saying don't exercise. I imagine he exercises, too. If I remember, he said, in all your 'running' (used metaphorically) "run with God..." So, run for the right reasons. The best way to know the "right reasons" is in a relationship with God.

Or just read your bible. People lack faith because they rely on people than the very book they get their words from. That's why I stopped making videos. People were relying on me more than the very book where I was getting my message.

People in HK need Jesus so much more now than ever in light of all that's going on. People in HK need hope, and the freedom to pray and worship God which are the most basic human expressions. To take that away would be unimaginable, and so, so sad. Please pray for the people of HK, pray for deliverance and protection. Francis Chan you are in the right place at the right time.
The truth is we are born to die so what should be our focus and purpose in life? Unity with God, a relationship with God, to be a saint, and help others be a saint. What will it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul? Love is to WILL the good of the other so what better thing can we do than to help others get on a path to salvation. This has been a rough period with COVID-19, but the silver lining is I had my best Lent ever. I found more time for God. The Psalmist says, "Indeed you love truth in the heart, then In the secret of my heart, teach me wisdom." Francis you are so right. We have to be still to listen. Prayer, fasting and almsgiving is the best way to build a relationship with God. You must sacrifice to love.
This broke me down completely. I was like the church who needed to go back to it's first love. Thank you for bringing this good word to my soul.

This brought me to tears. I have been pushing so hard in life for so long and have struggled to totally surrender to Jesus. I have accepted Him, and believe Him, but still pursued my own way. But God has been saying and resonating in my soul lately. "Be still and know that I am God."
I often quoted MLK jr and lived by "If you cannot fly then run, if you cannot run then walk, if you cannot walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward". But we can rest in Him, our walk is useless if we do not walk with him. If we fly without him we WILL FALL. It is all about Jesus and a relationship with Him. How my heart yearns for and loves His presence. Be still. Listen to His Word. Make time for Jesus. Draw night to Him and he will draw to you.
I have been trying to figure out what God wanted me to do when he kept telling me be still and know that he is God. I have been trying so hard to get my life going again not understanding that God put my life on hold to give me a chance to be close to him. I had a revaluation right in my bedroom and hit the floor crying what a wonderful God
