- Do you have any old dining chairs that are too wobbly to sit on? You can take two of them and make them into a cool French-style bench.
Brian at An Oregon Cottage blog did this with no plans--just a vague idea of what he wanted to make. And if Brian can do it, so can you.

Very nice idea although I wouldn't know the designer you're talking about from Adam (mayhap because I am British? ) anyway we have lots of knock off's of similar design and this is a definite for the cabin I'm building. .I can see it in situ. ..making a lovely window seat. It is a great bench - it's an antique pew! It was falling apart and so had to do a lot of fixing to shore it up so had to painted vs. refinishing.
I like it the only thing i hate about the video is you talked about how it was made ,please if you make anything else please show step by step on how you made it that way people get a better concept on how it was done
I'm with you Larry and wish we did, too! It was one of those things Brian started on without any idea how it would turn out. Only after it turned out so great did we decide to share it. Hindsight is 20-20. ;)
