Love the vid and how it’s not the stereotypical Sylvan Library, Elvish Piper, Great Henge. Shows great ways to get similar effects without breaking the bank.
and here i was about to point out that the king of magic himself didn’t put elvish piper in the video and instead put an arguably worse version. nothing against howlpack piper, amazing card for wolf and werewolf tribal👌
I always love ashaya as a must include because not only does she help you ramp out bigger threats, but also she protects your creatures from things like cyclonic rift.
It's too slow for me. I run a t0 storm. Start with Leyline of Anticipation, play mox sapphire tap to play Ancestral Recall, play spell book, memnite, ornithopter, black lotus for black, dark ritual, then end with Tendrils of Agony on your turn going first.
Genesis wave is by far my favorite green spell of all time. It ENDS games the instant you play it in most cases. I also really dig Defense of the Heart. It's my favorite way to sneak in huge creatures if someone is running wide. Asceticism is also another green card that I think could see more play in Commander. The hexproof is nice but the regen is clutch.
Parallel Lives scute swarm, usually gets the job done, although i usually go a go-shintai with parallel lives, annointed procession, cathar's crusade and blessed sanctuary. top it off with elrond's epiphany and time warp to get a bit more done.
This is not a green card nor a spell but Bonders' Enclave works so well with green. Another green card I like is Choose Your Weapon, pair it up with Unnatural Growth and you got one beefcake of a creature.
BRO! Rampant Rejuvenator is the exact kind of effect I love! I just recently bought a Sporocyst to go in my Falco Spara, Pactweaver deck. This card is definitely getting heavily considered.
eldrazis are amazing in green. awakening zone. from beyond. emrakul aeons torn. heartbeat of spring and vernal bloom. the rest of cards can be expensive eldrazi. half deck is mana doulbers other half is eldrazi. also pretty consistent since it is 50 50 ratio. of eldrazi and mana doulbers. can also put in primal command or jaheiras blessing against more aggressive decks. maybe healer of the glade. i almost forgot awaken the woods. can double up as also anti agression. gives a horde of tokens than can block or generate mana a 2 in 1 card.
A green card I use a lot, in decks that are 3+ colors, is Circuitous Route. I tend to use Gates as dual lands in those sort of decks, so I find it to be a good color-fixer/accelerator without breaking the bank.
For me, Allosaurus Shepherd is my must-use. Mono-green becomes a pain to counter when I have that out. I don’t even play elves, I use it for the counter-proofing
Greater good is amazing, especially in my omnath, locus of mana deck where you can repeatedly drop omnath back in after sacrificing it. That also works pretty well if ghalta is your commander. It also works really well with death's presence, where you can start really racking up the power. On another note, mana dorks like the llanowar elves, fyndhorn elves, elvish mystic and birds of paradise are common includes. Wild growth, utopia sprawl, fertile ground, and wolfwillow haven are my preferred green "rocks". Three visits, nature's lore, rampant growth, and sometimes farseek are also common staples. All that aside, I do like most of your picks. There was a lot of interesting things to consider that I had not previously
Ghalta is my favourite Commander (and the first commander deck I built). I also like Augur of Autumn is a similar slot as Oracle. It doesn’t give you the extra land drop, but lands off the top and with the right board state it also works as a Vizier of the Menagerie/Garruck’s Horde
Hell yeah Ghalta! One of my fave big green cards. I think my absolute “can’t stop playing” green card right now is Silverback Elder. Nothing say big green like BEEG MONKE
I used to play explore in all my green decks, but it missed one too many times, so it got cut except in my landfall. Tireless Provisioner is my #2 green staple behind Sylvan Library.
Can never go wrong with Abundance. 4 mana 2 G 2 Any and allows to choose whether or not you want a land or nonland on every draw as well as being a replacement effect for draws so you can never be drawn out. Just fail to find if said nonland or land card doesn't exist in the deck
For my part I would have saved one spot on my top 10 fave green cards for Quirion/Scryb Ranger. Those 2 cards can do so many broken things in the right deck! Saryth also loves them! I also just built a Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea commander deck, I just love casting Ghalta for free! Seriously pretty much all the cards you listed are in that deck... If I have Greater Good out most often I don't even swing with my Ghalta, 12 cards for 2 mana thank you!
I run an Azusa landfall deck and has most of these in it but I definitely need to grab a couple of the others that were mentioned and throw them in there. Cuz why not.
Greater Good is usually the Endgame in my Meren deck. It hits the field, I flip my deck into my graveyard as I find my combo pieces and get a shit load of experience counters in the process
I need to play Explore more and this video is a reminder of that so thank you. My green staples: - Sylvan Library - The Great Henge - Elder Gargaroth - Traverse the Outlands - Bane of Progress - Heroic Intervention
I love getting down a turn 3 Ghalta on Arena. Turn 1: Land, Llanowar Elves Turn 2: Land, Gwenna Turn 3: Giganotosaurus, Ghalta, and maybe also a land but it's not even needed at this point.
My favorite green card is definitely Fast Bond or Channel. The amount of tempo you gain from those is ridiculous! Play a Lotus for green and cast both and it's gg.
Consider swapping out Mul Daya in favor of Augur of Autumn. You lose put on the extra land drop, but don't flash your top card to opponents, and once Coven is online, you can also topdeck cast creatures.
I think k soul of the harvest should be differentiated as more of a staple in reanimat or cheat out situations. It just doesn't have the condition of must cast so for w more mana its far far more versitile
Curious why Howlpack Piper over Elvish Piper? The can't be countered part is nice but I still think one green at instant speed feels better, but curious what others think :)
Love Mirris guile. Wish they would print it more, I only have one and it is kinda pricey. I like it cause it doesn't steal the game like sylvan library. Card selection 👌
Didnt understand 'Sarith, the Viper's Fang'. What do I get out of a tapped creature with Deathtouch if it can't attack or block to use its Deathtouch because it's tapped? I need Deathtouch for untapped creatures for attack or block to use it.
@@Damesanglante Lol, seriously? Creatures with vigilance can't be tapped after attack which also means that they can't get deathtouch. Apart from that the mentioned creature has no vigilance.
Ghalta is my co.manfet in my "big stompy " deck. I have a combo with him that I haven't gotten to play yet with path breaker Ibex and exponential growth. For when you absolutely have to kill everyone at the table.
I came here looking for fresh ideas and I'm not even joking you only play one card that I don't use. But now that I found out about that one card I like it and I'm probably going to use it. Lol
No Kodama of the East Tree? It's the biggest value green card I can think of that's not Food Chain or Birthing Pod! Ghalta is amazing, respect on that.
my personal green staples for every deck: obsuring haze and fog, bind, beast within, harmonice, cultivate and kodamas reach. that actually non of those appeared on your list makes me think :/
I 99% of the time play green decks. I honestly have never used one of those cards. Would love to hear your input on my main deck if there is a way to send it to you.
@@kinglukemtg I've been tuning it up a bit and the deck just wrecks. Tons of fun. A lot of other people want to use the other commander from the box to build around (Shalai and Hallar) which is fine if you like combo-auto-win games. Bright-Palms is more of a "my creatures are huge... have trample... will double their counters very soon... and want to kill you" kind of deck.
I like the card for higher power level, but I don't use it most of the time, because it puts me so far ahead or in later game, I do not like waiting for upkeep triggers. Love the card just to strong most of the time.
You should ALWAYS have as an Overwhelming Stampede in a green.. “ALL CREATURES GET +X/+X where X is the greatest power among creatures you control, and they gain TRAMPLE

Love the vid and how it’s not the stereotypical Sylvan Library, Elvish Piper, Great Henge. Shows great ways to get similar effects without breaking the bank.
This guy gets it lol, thank you homie
and here i was about to point out that the king of magic himself didn’t put elvish piper in the video and instead put an arguably worse version. nothing against howlpack piper, amazing card for wolf and werewolf tribal👌
and no craterhoof behemoth ether! :D thats thumbs up from me
Exactly this comment. Was happy not to see the Piper
elvish piper? honestly i never see anyone play that card.
Honestly really like that you make videos like these- you're like the most down-to-earth mtg content creator out there (and funniest)
I always love ashaya as a must include because not only does she help you ramp out bigger threats, but also she protects your creatures from things like cyclonic rift.
For me, Veil of Summer. Amazing green "counterspell" against counterspells that lets you draw immediatly, so you're not down on card advantage either.
Why play 4 mana cryptic command when you can play 1 mana cryptic command
Heroic intervention is probably my number one green card. Vigor is another one I really love
Cheating creatures with howlpack piper's ability also works as a defense against counterspells since you're not casting the creatures.
*Heroic intervention.. Aspect of Mongoose... Spidersilk armor.* I love these baby makers
You honestly can't go wrong with green stompy, hard agreed on all these picks and love that they won't break the bank
It's too slow for me. I run a t0 storm. Start with Leyline of Anticipation, play mox sapphire tap to play Ancestral Recall, play spell book, memnite, ornithopter, black lotus for black, dark ritual, then end with Tendrils of Agony on your turn going first.

Saryth is so RIDICULOUSLY useful. It’s protection and a great aggro boost! It slots into everything!
Goreclaw is another. Makes creatures cheaper and gives mass trample. Gold
GHALTA! The epitome of mono green stompy! Love the videos too!
Thank you homie
I never knew I needed this kind of content until now, thanks brother 💯 Fellow Ramper over here from the Philippines 🇵🇭🎶✨️

I just found this card called gaias cradle in my cousins old cards he gave me and it’s a broken land. Love all these old cards.
That card is worth Hella money 💰
Lands are technically colorless though.
@@joebaumgart1146 I’m still learning the game lol I love all the vintage cards though.
Completely forgot i had a howlpack piper laying around, saw some cards I didn't know even existed, nice video brother.
Thanks homie

"plus it helps u pipe down these bad bitches" lmao. love to see this kind of format

Sick video, my friend is building a green commander so i shared him your video with the sick recommendations thanks G.
Llanowar Visionary is one that I started jamming into any green deck I can. Always ok to play at any point in the game.
Gaia's blessing, love countering mill
I love mosswort bridge turn 1, it gives me a little thing to look forward to later. Also, Ashaya, Soul of the Wild is in my top cards ever
Green= ramp+big baddies
I love playing Jaheira's Respite in my Temur deck. There are at least 1 tokens deck in my pod all the time, managed to politics my way into 7 lands
I run an Azusa landfall deck and has most of these in it but I definitely need to grab a couple of the others that were mentioned and throw them in there. Cuz why not.

The perfect deck imo runs about 24 lands and 36 explores.
I can agree with this list if it was for big green deck. Otherwise no. But no Krosan Grip or Beast Within?
Sick video m8, can’t wait to see some more videos
More of these please. These are perfect
Can you do white next??
I love getting down a turn 3 Ghalta on Arena.
Turn 1: Land, Llanowar Elves
Turn 2: Land, Gwenna
Turn 3: Giganotosaurus, Ghalta, and maybe also a land but it's not even needed at this point.
My favorite green card is definitely Fast Bond or Channel. The amount of tempo you gain from those is ridiculous! Play a Lotus for green and cast both and it's gg.
Turn 1 drop Burgeoning, play lands from your hand whenever an opponent plays a land. start dropping your big spells by turn 3.
Consider swapping out Mul Daya in favor of Augur of Autumn. You lose put on the extra land drop, but don't flash your top card to opponents, and once Coven is online, you can also topdeck cast creatures.
Every green deck I build I can't seem to get away from nature's lore, three visits and farseek

"Colossal Dreadmaw" is the ONLY green card anyone ever needs. It is number 1 through 10 on my list.
I have been throwing rites of flourishing in every green deck and haven't looked back yet
Sareth is really fun when you pair her with fynn the fangbearer,
Life's Legacy is pretty sweet too. I throw out a 10/10 giga, the people get scared, then i sacrifice it to draw 10 cards, now they scareder.

Seriously a great card in high MV creature decks like my dragons
Sac an Ur Dragon to draw 10/ discard 3 is too good!!!
King Timmy preaching the gospel of Ghalta
Nice.
Good video. How about one featuring a green deck using these cards with some others you run to make a complete package?
Great list. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I came here looking for fresh ideas and I'm not even joking you only play one card that I don't use. But now that I found out about that one card I like it and I'm probably going to use it. Lol
Howlpack piper is more than two per turn until you have no mana or werewolf or wolf in hand really strong.
Lol I didn't see the green deck at first so I heard Luke's voice.
First.
I'm gonna start with a mana crypt.
I see we have similar tastes in green I wonder if that'll be true for the other colors in this series
Will you also do your own commander deck breakdowns?
No Kodama of the East Tree? It's the biggest value green card I can think of that's not Food Chain or Birthing Pod!

I feel like I'm the only Green player who plays nyxbloom ancient, he's so good and easy to play out with green
Surprised Colossal Dreadmaw isn't in this list 😔 even in non Dino decks, I still wanna run 6/6 for 6 with trample best statline

Oracle of Mul Daya is the greatest green card ever

Oracle is 6 bucks now??? It used to be like 30
