God damn I miss playing this game in its prime. Just played it again for the first time in forever but almost no one's on. :( PS: It's now been 10 years since this update was made to the game...I was 14 when this patch came out...now at 24, sheesh where does the time go. 😭

I miss this game too man, I loved it's Atmosphere and the Gunplay was pretty solid imo, Extinction was different and i respect IW for trying out new ideas
ghosts would've been a A grade cod if it didn't have big maps, if it had more medium/small maps over the big ones, id put ghosts at A rank, but it's got a bomb campaign tho with extinction, deserves a B rank at most

Most of the original developers and writers from Infinity Ward have returned to Infinity Ward so there's hope that Ghosts 2 might happen but at least most of the original development team has returned to Infinity Ward they left Respawn I don't know the full details but they are back👍👍

Its sad that other companies like Activision used to be good people now its just a whole bunch of next generation people who have moved in, and the teams are all different. Full of passionless people who only get done what their corporate boss is throwing at them then calling it a day.

Not even gonna lie, they did EXCELLENT af with the soundtrack. The GAMEPLAY however... its cringeworthy to the point of no return. If they had made CoD Ghosts exactly like MW2, but with their own weapons that they have here, and weapon expansion packs, this would've been the best game CoD has ever made.
I have to say, even though it wasn't the best CoD, the memories of late 2013 and early 2014 on this game where amazing, i'm not gonna lie. Tbh, multiplayer is still pretty fun, but i only play it for the memories and fun. The theme was beast, i wish i could get this song back.
You could, but you need to change a Fast File (extension .FF). Since its compiled, you have to replace it with the old one. I can assure u that it will work, but hopefully a console doesn't run on a file checklist encryption.
Ghost had the worst maps of any CoD to date, but luckily all the guns were viable and performed pretty well and the soundtrack is on point, this one has that Modern Warfare vibe.
Say what you want about ghosts yeah the multiplayer was bad but theirs no denying that setting was very innovative a shooter set in a post apocalyptic setting and now after that we had cods trying to copy titanfall and halo with it’s futuristic settings and now we have games that are just nostalgia baiting at best with the mw and black ops cw franchise

Honestly, besides Modern Warfare 2, Ghosts is my favorite Call Of Duty game.

same here, a lot of nostalgia for MW2 and i had so many hours on Ghosts. i also loved Infinite Warfare’s campaign as well.

I wanted to get the very first one back, but unfortunately, it's completely up to Infinity Ward to handle these things.
You could, but you need to change a Fast File (extension .FF). Since its compiled, you have to replace it with the old one. I can assure u that it will work, but hopefully a console doesn't run on a file checklist encryption.

Definitely. The game was supposed to be 9v9 upon release but they reverted it back to 6v6 which left the game with all these gigantic maps.
