How can I covert the Slope Y-Intercept form into standard form??? I have the slope (-4) and I have the Y-Intercept (5) to the equation I have is “y = -4x + 5” and I need to convert this into the form Ax + By = C (standard)
Ari...yes but you want to look to see if there are other fractions in the equation so that you ‘clear’ the denominators....so you want to find the lowest common multiple of the denominators and multiply that. Hope that helps!
Just some constructive criticism, you moved a little too fast in this video could you go a little slower next time? Everyone learns at different paces.
This is so easy I didn’t know how to do it a minute ago and was getting every problem wrong with standard form, holy shit it’s so easy lmao!
Glad my video helped you Camden!
Thanks a lot I got a 98 on my test
Wow that’s great!
This man is an absolute legend
Thanks. This made this a lot more clear and helped with homework.
Glad my video helped you with you’re homework!
Thank you so much ! Really helped me out 👏

Glad it helped!
can you multiply the -1/2x by anything to make it an integer

Robin...you can adjust the playback speeds by pressing the three dots when the video is playing and adjust it to .75 or .5 that should help you.
Agree. I had to replay it several times. Nevertheless, excellent explanation.
For number 1, why did you multiply everything (2x-5y = 12) by 3?
What If we have something like 8x +3y+6=0 , like what if it equals to 0. How do we write that in standard form
Good one😇
