Going in at 2C is bonkers, as soon as it dips to single figures I just go for the bacon and egg baps. :)

Doesn't a dry suit keep you warm ?

Yeah but on a day when the water temp is as cold as 6-7 degrees you need the right thermal underwear and clothing. Thinking about going for a heated vest as am bi weekly diving in quarries during the winter months.
