- Disclaimer: Boring Video.
I received this error recently on my dell laptop.
HEADLESS OPERATION ACTIVE
Alert! TPM device is not detected.
It would not allow me to boot into the windows 10 OS.
1. I tried this:
www.dell.com/s...
2. I read this...
www.dell.com/s...
3. Finally, in part of this forum, it mentions removing the power and waiting 30 seconds. This worked for me:
www.dell.com/c...
Good luck. I'm not sure what solution will work for you.. but I hope you don't run into this error.
Thanks, I almost touched the bottom of the Internet and then suddenly your video and what... it finally worked!!!😀
Great! Sometimes I post videos that help...
Didn’t help😢 this happened after I updated my laptop.
Crappy dell nonsense. Ruined a whole day in work for me. Thank you for this video. Won't be buying another Dell after this experience.

Yes!!!! Plus update optional firmwares!
My device is Dell i3 5005u in bios >POST behavior> shows only 3 options these are Adapter Warnings,En Lock Options , Fastboot so how to find TPM in my laptop , sir please guide me

Thank u very much for sharing, my friend. Solved. A hug from Portugal!
Thank you so much!!!! It worked!!!!! Also optional firmwares under window update drivers need to be installed
Thanks for the additional information!
My laptop has a battery though, so if I unplug it the bios does not lose power. Did not work for me.
thank you, seemed to have worked, and TPM is showing in device manager now too. lol @ you pointing at the power cord like "SEE WHAT YOU DID? BAD!"
I was actually at work when this happened. I only pointed at it.. because I didn't want to be too loud (we have a communal desk bench... no more cubicles for US!)
This worked for me today. Thanks bro😀
Thank you, the only video that really helped me.
glad it helped. unless you changed or updated something.. I think this would help people who've done nothing to their computer.

Just leave your laptop unpluged for 30sec
Why headless operation active is showing??

hahaha.. I tried a bunch of other stuff too. It amazed me it was just a simple power off.
I do get annoyed abit when people who try this and it doesn't work.. they instantly comment "doesn't work". I wish the replies were more meaningful with what were symptoms and other troubleshooting attempts?
Thank you it worked
Тоже не работает. Про 30 секунд.
