It's funny that you say that because it's not really that good in all parts of Bratislava. In some parts you can literally smell urine of homeless people. At least they are not too frequent though.

Thank you for sharing. Love that you travel the world sharing your knowledge about nutrition. My sister is obese in poor health, I tried telling her about Carnivore and she shot me down hard saying I'll never believe it's healthy not to have vegetables.
I got a text from her the other day. Her doctor put her on the Carnivore diet. Thank you for creating this awareness that is spreading. ❤

Was there myself decades ago. Great city, especially the old town area. Have a fantastic trip.
BTW, as a 72 yr old carnivore for 5 years now & having “enjoyed” a triple by-pass 14 years ago…today I’m 90 pounds lighter & on NO meds or even supplements. Feel better than in my forties (& I actually thought I felt good then). Too many other great health/fitness changes to even list here.
Saying this as a thanks since I’m a regular follower of & greatly appreciate your work and channel. Your advice & education has been instrumental in radically improving my health, &, dare I say, longevity. So please keep it up & many thanks.

If you’re heading to Budapest, you may want to try a chimney cake. I gave up giving up sugar after four years to try one of these things. When in Rome…. I was also walking 25 km a day so I felt like I deserved it. They also have a couple restaurants where you can have raw meat delivered to you and you cook it on a 400°F stone to your liking. Completely awesome. They use a currency I was unfamiliar with, but it really didn’t matter because the food was awesome. I traveled to 13 countries last year while maintaining a carnivore diet and Budapest was my favorite city. Don’t get me wrong, Melbourne Australia is pretty great as well. 😊

Great to see you touring around Europe spreading your wisdom and your message again! But I know Bratislava is close to Vienna in Austria (my country), and I don't know if you are aware or not, but in Vienna there are a lot of violent crimes going on these days, gangs of immigrants forming and attacking other gangs and sometimes also innocent bystanders too. Be careful if you plan to go to Vienna, this happens not just at night but also during bright daylight.

Hviezdoslav is Slovakia s most famous poet.Slovakia is NOT fairly poor country. The average income is relatively lot lower compare to countries like Switzerland or Austria, but on the other hand the cost of living is 3x cheaper. Reason for the price of that steak dinner was super high, it targets the tourists in downtown area..10 min walk from what you show, you can get an amazing steak meal under $ 20..did you notice how clean and orderly everything is ?

We use to live right next door in Brno, Czech Republic. For carnivore you could try the duck or Pork knuckle. These are specialties there. Svičkova is the national dish. It's a roast beef that has a carrot based gravy on it. So, it would be more keto, but still really tasty. Have fun!

    •  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

That's "tender loin", very low on fat, so more like SAD/dog food than keto or carnivore.

"Slovakia is a fairly poor country still.."
Say what??? as a slovak I took that personally 😅
For instance, I live in the country side basically and we have all the amenities and conveniences of your average american household.
People think that us being being under soviet regime would somehow make this country a bleak and and unfair place to be in, the fact is, even in the 90's it was thankfully a pretty chill experience and on day to day you couldn't tell.
It was and is pretty decent/comfortable country to live in.
We ain't pooping into holes in the ground you know (only on weekends)

Beautiful Europe. The cities are always clean because everyone takes responsibility for cleaning their area. Czech Republic is clean, too. This shows the difference between America and Europe. All of the trash let in to America makes it a trash nation. We no longer have pride in our country.

Welcome to Slovakia 🙂. That was Hviezdoslav's square (famous local poet) and the building with the columns is the historical Slovak National Theatre. The US embassy should get the heck out of the city center as it's messing the whole beautiful area up with its ugliness. That's a discussion for another day though.

Sadly, it was here for 40 years - long enough to brainwash way too many people with broken socialist ideas and destroy ton of capital we had.
