Sandals Halcyon Beach | Couple's Trip in a Butler Swim Up Suite

- We head to Saint Lucia to spend one night in a standard room and four nights in a Swim Up Ocean View Butler Suite. Join us as we tour both rooms, try all of the food, experience Sandals Butler Service, and also go over to the Sandals Grande Saint Lucian to check out that resort as well. Oh, and the helicopter ride from the airport over to the resort was pretty awesome! Enjoy!

Beaches Turks and Caicos is my families favorite- great for the kids , been back several times. It’s kinda like a mini epicot since there are diff villages u can stay in
i got married at Halcyon 27 years ago got married in the gazbo and had our wedding meal in the blue restaurant from uk
We have stayed at Sandals Grande St Lucian and because the other 2 Sandals Resorts had many red flag days many guests came to our beach. We had a 10 night stay and we never had a red flag day. Sandals Grande St Lucian is in an inlet or cove, so the water is much calmer. Both my brothers went to Sandals Halcyon Beach 25 years ago for their honeymoons June & October of 1997. We are off to Sandals Royal Barbados on March for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary (2 year delay because of Covid-19 & health issues). We can't wait to head back to Sandals. I like it because you can do nothing and everything without breaking the bank. We love the Sandals product. We would love to go back to St Lucia again, but we have a few other islands we would like to visit before we go back (Antigua, Grenada and Curacao).

We booked this place for later this year mid summer. Wish we would have watched this video first. We are not looking for parties but did not know it was going to be so dead there.

Is it true this is an older Sandals and more for an older crowd ? Is the HELICOPTER the only way to get to the resort ?
I don’t know how old it is, but it was gorgeous. Definitely more of a chill vibe than some of the other “party” resorts
You mentioned Aluani. Do you think a first timer to Hawaii could get a good Hawaii experience only staying at Aluani or would you recommend a split stay?
The problem with Aulani is that you don’t want to leave! I would definitely do a split stay and use the time away from Aulani to explore Oahu
Heading here in December! Interested in the helicopter ride. Any advice? We do not have a travel agent.
Happy to help you book it if you would like. The helicopter is pricey but WAAAAY better than the van ride. That van was rough!

We started with Audio-Technica ATR2100 and it was great for a long time. I would check that out or maybe the Rode PodMic. I think both are good beginner mics, but offer quality as well.

Would you recommend the la toc more or halycon?
We didn’t make it to La Toc, but I would recommend the Grand for more of a party vibe and Halcyon for more of an intimate vibe

Summer
Went there last year was not impressed at all. It is very old and it needs updated. The beach is not pretty at all the water is not also.
