Saw a lovely queen the other night, where I work. Tall, black, and beautiful. She was stepping out on a Saturday night. Good for her. Good for me. I'm bi. I may "pass" until I tell folks where I'm at, so Its good for me to speak up. United we stand. : )
Its sad we live in times where everyone seems to have to adhere and embace thier gender identities so ridgedly, and it IS very dangerous to be ambiguous in your appearance nowdays, probs more so in some ways than the 60's to the 1980's when gender bending was probably just confused with fashion or music for most. Its a shame that in the more enlightened 21'st century, some ppl still can't be what they are in public places, without being in some kind of peril. Courage dont come easy hon, but some times you just have to say fuck em!! Stay brave and beautiful & for Godsake take some self defense lessons girrl :) x
:) True, and the gap between where things are relatively safe and where things are very dangerous and life threatening in the world is growing. It's like a sea is parting and defined sides are taking shape. I'm just glad I live in a country where our city halls across the land raise LGBT flags in solidarity with places where things are going south, like Russia and more.
Thank you for the wonderful comment. I agree, I have been wanting to do less makeup, but I'm still doing laser and it's to do with dysphoria as well. Plus I think the makeup has become some sort of comfort blanket, I hope to get past that, though I'll always enjoy makeup.
***** Thats kinda where I'm coming from, as my beard gets removed its easier for me to where less makeup. Its been months maybe even a year since I used liquid base. Its better this way for me. Nice video.
Thanks for sharing. I feel the same way.
Deep thinking considered and honest ... you grow on people ... :-) x
Thanks Jodie :)
You are entirely welcome :-) I like this weeks video too btw :-)
