- In this video we explore another new creek looking for good gold ground to work this summer. We had a great time with a great property owner on a beautiful creek! We found some gold and will be returning with the big boy toys! Stayed tuned for many more prospecting videos comin soon!!

Found your channel. I just got into gold prospecting. I would love to come beat the banks with you all one weekend I'm out on the eastern panhandle west virgina about 2 to 3 hrs away from you all.
You should definitely check out central Virginia gold prospectors.net ! We have members from all over the east coast. We’re testing private properties in this series that limits guests we can bring but with the club you can go whenever you want and it’s only $100 a year for your whole family and you can camp right on the properties. At what point should newbies think about getting some sort of dredge whether gas or water powered?
I’d definitely say don’t rush into it. Get some pans and maybe a sluice box and learn to pan efficiently. It all comes back to panning in the end. A dredge is nice but learning to locate gold is a must or you will get frustrated fast! I went full bore and felt defeated when I ran a bunch of worthless dirt for hours. If you can locate something good and repeat that result then I’d look to get something that will move more material. Just my two cents
