so some extra insight...
1) you can use bow to shoot the levers (or leave a summon creature that is able to work the levers such as mage hands)
2) you can not make every mold piece so just grab the 2 you want so you don't waste your time collecting them all.
3) once you have everything you need keep 2 people up on the stairs with ranged attacks and 2 on the platform keep a tanky person on top of the mold box (out of the lava) but near the hammer.
4) platform duo will go back and forth on aggro pull on the boss to make sure it keeps walking in lava. The other guy you have will be used to pull aggro out into the lava while your tanky guy with some range attack is able to pull it back to the hammer repeat till you are able to smack the guy twice and it will be over.
5) Once you hit the boss once some creatures will spawn in this is where the 2 people on the stairs come in handy you can snipe them and kill those pesky creatures.
6) you get pretty much a helm, armor, weapon from this that have great stats for your heavy warrior...
Side notes:
1) you can get the ox to fight and also clear the path..
2) you do not need to leave anyone behind.. There is a teleport point once someone reaches the other side you can just Teleport everyone there..
3) You also missed on a special item on the trap walk which is a great gift for someone if you are into them and helps greatly with the romance.
could you elaborate on which trap walk this great gift is?
@@dunnetahl The very same trap walk you have to walk through to pull the levers.. Its at the very end of the walk way in a chest and also a statue inside.. You need to have teleport such as misty step or dimensional door.
PULL THE LEVER KRUNK!
WRONG LEVER! why we we even have that lever!
I am Groot!
Tip: you dont need to leave anyone behind to operate the leavers. just shoot them with the bow to activate them.
If you talk to the Ox, you can convince them to fight the guys with you then convince them to clear the rubble once you kill their former masters. You can also use certain damage types to clear out the rubble (force and bludgeoning work well), saves you an explosive.
Everything you did I did another way. Gotta love this game.
First off, you can get to the forge much easier. Just use super jump and jump one character to the last walkway. Run it to the waypoint, then port the whole party there.
Secondly, when fighting the boss, just place one character with a bow on top of the mould slot. When he hits the boss he becomes priority target, which means the boss will move to the center. Then pull the lever and smash the boss, leaving it at half health and prone. Do this 2 times and the boss is dead. You don't need specific classes or anything.
There is actually an even easier way to get to the forge but it's pointless cause if you do it you miss out on the other molds and a stupid amount of loot. Also kiting the golem seems like a pita. With my strat it doesn't even get to have a turn and you kill it in like 4-ish turns. But you know if you wanna kite it through an area full of lava that does massive damage, you do you lol
@@Firespark81 haha no way you kill it in 4 turns without the lever. And you dont need to kite. Just be clever about placing your characters.
Also, you can pick up the molds and the loot without doing the roundabout way to get to the forge.
@@karmakamra my karlach with a hammer, and my MC with eldritch blast would say different I only had to get halt of twice before killing him. Found video after to make sure I didn't miss anything before leaving area.
Bro, just drag the boss to the big hammer and smash it
I didn't even know that was an option and just killed him the hard way >.>
Drag how? Isn't it too heavy to throw?
@@maxstrthere is a lever that you use to smash it in the middle. He always targets the last person that hit him, so have your tankiest companion go to the middle to aggro him. Then have another character use the lever to slam him when he is under the hammer. You will need to make sure the floor has lava otherwise he is immune
Just do the double exp glitch and by the time you get to him you can smoke him because you’ll be over leveled by 1-2 levels.
@@maxstrYou can get it to move toward the most recent person in your group that has hit it. Get it to stand in the lava, then get it to stand on the center and then use the lever to trigger the large hammer.
1) use Speak with animals on the rothe and they'll open the passage for you and fight with you against the dwarves
2) use mage hand and things become simpler with the moving platform
3) lure the golem to the center, misty step away, pull the lever and the he gets smacked for like 150 damage. Keep one person near wheel to keep the lava going, one person near the entrance to deal with the fire mephitis, one person near the hammer lever, and one person to lure them golem into the lava and near the hammer
i made friends with the ox with a potion of animal speak, they helped in the fight and i didnt have to kill them as well
And then the ox broke the rocks open for me
Good advice
I rolled to calm them down, did the same thing
The faster, smarter, better option for the boss fight... stack party other side of where it enters, keep one at the wheel... tag it with ranged damage, let the boss target that character and walk under the hammer on the following turn, smack it with the hammer, then make it target the wheel character, walk over towards it. Then ranged target it again from the other side and make it go back under the hammer, 2 shots and its dead, then clean up the mess and make the stuff with the forge
You don't need to leave someone behind. You can trigger a lever with an arrow fired from any kind of bow
A no spoilers recommendation would be to have a Bard and be at least lvl 5-6 when you get to this area, that way the bard can grant fly to party members and you can get all of this done in 10% of the time.
3:08 - Slag is not the same as ore; slag is the waste material, all the contaminants from the smelting process (refining ore into an ingot/bar). Anyway; Dammon whom you likely met in the Druid Grove is a Tiefling smith from Elturel who learned a few tricks during the whole Into Avernus thing. He will make you a medium armor helmet from that slag when you reach the inn in act 2. I think. It might've been from the foil masks, but I'm pretty sure it was the slag.
I think if you still have it he can use it when you reach the city of Baldur's Gate.
If you sided with the Absolute and Minthara; then I don't know what use, if any, the slag has.
LOL the command thing is a clever idea but you know what's easier than fighting it? Put the big monster under the giant hammer.
use big hammer above anvil to do 140+ damage on grym just put 1 near lever for lava flow put 1 near anvil lever and park your melee with range weapon above spot where u put mold into just attack grym pull him to middel u can do 2 anvil hit in 1 turn and like 90% hp gone or if u lucky u hit twice 150 it wil be ko
Except now he's laying on top of the crucible & I have no way to add mithril ore for a 2nd item. Any idea how to fix that? Really wanted that shield...
I got lucky figuring out the forge boss - I had kited him to be under the hammer and pulled the lever, dropping my weapon mid fight and taking like 90% of his health. Glorious!
Worth noting that the boss man drops a hemlet that also does the crit prevention, but it is considered heavy armour. That means that with the shield helmet and one armour you can get 3/4 of your party to never get critted. It can not be overstated how big of a deal that is. Since its less common with heavy armour prof you should probably not make the heavy armour, and instead do the shield (for Gale or other person who can carry shield but not medium) and the medium armour. That way a heavy armour user, a medium armour user and a shield user all in your party do not have to worry about crit damage.
You can make that fight with the Rothe(Ox) beasts ALOT easier if you have Speak with Animals. You can persuade them to attack the dwarves but not you. They dont have alot of health and you want to keep them alive if possible but chances are the enemy will focus on you anyway so that wont be too hard. Just make sure not to catch them in your AOE attacks and you'll make quick work of the dwarves. If the animals survive the fight then afterwards you can persuade them to break the wall down for you immediately as gratitude for you freeing them from the dwarves. Honestly "Speak with Animals" and Detect Thoughts are absolute MUST HAVES for much of this game. They open up soooo many options and almost always leader to either better rewards, or the same rewards but much fast/easier. That lets you save the blackpowder for another quest later.
You can also make the beasts break the wall first then the dwarf will try to kill you to get rid of the competition... The beast will be on your side to kill them.
A lot
2 hits from the forge hammer in the middle and killed him.Just have a character stay on the mold and aggro him,so he will come and stay near the hammer.
There is a better method to kill the boss. Get it under the hydraulic hammer. While the lava is on the floor he is superheated. Only then he takes any damage. While the floor is lava and he is under the hammer, pull the lever for the hammer to deal around 150 damage and make him prone.
BUT if you kill him with the hammer, you'll only be able to craft one item. As far as I know at least. The Boss is stuck on the platform and I haven't figured out how to get him away and use the forge again.
Also if you use the hammer, adds will spawn after the first hammer hit.
There’s a medium armor at a vendor at the next area that does not have the +2 dex cap (super op). So, remember that when making your choices on what you craft at the forge.
Worth knowing thank you.
Just a thing for time-saving if you have a Warlock or other spell caster with Fly. You can fly across the lava from the main area to the waypoint for the forge and then just hit fast travel to bring your entire party there without navigating any traps or jumps to get to the spot shown at 6:26 in the video.
jumping works too, tho maybe not quite as fast as fly. At lvl 4 I had Karlach run and jump her way through like it's Nina Warrior. Then party teleports to waypoint.
@@davidschwab7556 Yeah your right Karlach jumped over to me when i did it before teleporting everyone else Fly was fast and easy though.
I think it’s worth saying you can lure the boss into the center of the forge where the anvil is because the boss auto targets the last person toy strike him. Then have someone pull the forge anvil lever and have the forge itself one shot the boss.
I title this piece "Mistakes were made"
Act I
"Why would I need this maul for? I have this amazing great sword now! Nothing stands in my way! I'd better just sell it off."
Act II
1. "Yeah the guardian receives increased damage from bludgeoning weapons, but it's not like other damage types don't do ANY damage at all, right?
I'll just whittle him away with my main DPS characters and use a summoned magical weapon to get the final hit so that it gets targeted instead."
2. "Damage is rather small, but I am making progress slowly and the plan with the summoned weapon seems to work. Oh look the lava's gone."
3. "That's odd, I've been at this for quite some time and I've only got its health down to about half... what's going on?" I examine the giant again and take another, closer look...
Act III
1. "What do you mean damage nullified for all damage possible? How am I supposed to beat him now? O.o"
2. "WAIT! I got it! The huge hammer of the forge will surely do the trick! He might be immune to normal weapon damage, but look at the size of this thing! Surely it's how the devs intended you to finish the fight if he cooled down enough to become immune. Now all I need to do is lure him in the middle and flatten him."
3. "The sleep glyph is set so that when he touches the edge he'll fall asleep right in the middle where he needs to be. My ranged unit is ready to anger and lure him. Come on dice, make a hit, any hit!"
4. "He was a bit off center maybe that's why it didn't work... I'll load the save again try to place the glyph a little more to the side...'
An hour later (or even more, I don't know, the very concept of time stopped making sense. All I wanted was this monster dead. I even googled for "Baldur's Gate 3 cheats"...)
5. "I'm too far into this, all the quick save slots have long been filled with just this battle. If I go back to the last autosave I'll lose too much progress. Maybe use the flee from battle button? I'll resurrect any fallen character at the camp, I just want out!"
6. "Oh God, you need to be far enough from the enemy to flee!? Let me guess... we need to be on opposite sides to have a chance..."
Act IV
I finally gave in out of desperation and googled how to beat him, now the floor was lava, all my spell slots had long been used up and I was hanging on by a thread.
But with one character dead and melting in the lava and one freshly downed by the guardian, I was able to finally get him and his stupid half health in the middle, and I pulled the lever...
WHACK!
And just like that... catharsis...
My 5 hour ordeal came to an end...
Quick saved and saved a separate file like a madman and went to see the scale male I forged.
It was beautiful... it was... worth it...
Epilogue and lessons learned:
ALWAYS have a weapon for every type of damage out there!
Valid strats can be invalid sometimes, and that's OK. We have Google.
~The End~
I used animal speaking to convince the rothe to break the fall in, which the duerge still attacked, but the rothe were on my side. Also, you can use arrows to activate the levers, so you don’t have to leave anyone behind.
Pro tip: cast mage hand before the fight and use the hand to turn the wheel or pull levers without using a character's turn.
2nd tip, you don't have to leave a party member behind. You can shoot the levers with an arrow from the platform.
Thats the hard mode version of that boss fight. the correct way to kill it is lure it to the center and crush it with the hammer.
Not really. I beat that forge boss without taking damage in balanced mode just by using Blind, Halt and a hammer wielding Karlach with Haste. I also had Shadowheart summon a hammer minion for extra damage, but would've been fine without it.
I honestly kept waiting for him to use command to bring the boss to the forge hammer lol
You massively over complicated the fight with Grym. Because he targets the last target that hit him have someone attack him and move to the exact opposite side of the forge. He won’t be able to attack on his turn because you’re too far and he will try to move to them. Then drop the forge hammer in him, prone condition for a whole turn, repeat with a tough character because they will get hit, and lure him back to the forge hammer. 3 turns, 260 damage, no wasted spell slots or long rest abilities. We didn’t expect a fight and went in with max 5 HP each.
yep, it is just " STOP! HAMMER TIME!"...
just stand someone on the mold box, shoot the boss with this char (get aggro), spin the wheel, drop hammer, repeat(you can use a weaker char as a pawn and have them hold the boss there for 2 turns while you hammer time him), easy as- i did nearly what you did with a monk, and took 50% of his hp easily..as i had the bless staff
True but you do get an achievment for killing it without the hammer
Talk to the ox and convince them to attack the duergars. Then they clear the wall for you.
Use talk to Animals to have the Oxen help you kill the dwarves. They will then break the wall for you.
You can do all of this without splitting the party...if you have any Gith....they have Mage Hand and can pull the levers from remote location :)
Make sure to do the forge last. Take care of the duerger and deep gnomes first. If you long rest the dwarves and gnomes will leave.
thanks for the guide!
regarding the rubble: you can talk to one of the animals, persuade it to attack the duergar and after the fight tell it to clear the rubble, no need for exxplosives.
Just as a quick reminder, the forge hammer in the center of the room can also damage the boss for TONS of damage and basically making the golem completely out for an entire turn. However this does I believe remove the lava debuff from them, so they will become immune to damage once again, so hitting them a second time with the hammer wont work. I could be wrong here, because i know the debuff can last for multiple turns, and I may have simply missed the timing. However simply leading it back into the lava and rinse repeating the hammer will kill it in about 3 hits. The key here is to keep the golem targeting different characters, since the very last character to hit it, will become its main target. As long as you keep your guys spread out, and use them to direct the golem around the field, it should be fairly easy to get it to walk into the lava, and then back onto the hammer.
Also a little trick I found out, familiars and other pets do not make the mephit ambush go off near the second mithril vain. If you use one to simply walk over there, bust the vain, then throw the item back over, you can avoid this fight completely.
Pull the big boy to the center and have the forge come down on it head. Then make the lava go way and come back then drop it on his head a 2nd time and he is dead. Bows are your freinds when hitting switch's from afar if one didnt know this.
I've seen it a couple times in the comments already, but all you have to do is lure the boss to the center and hit him with the forge hammer twice. He goes down really easy.
Just a warning, using the warp point "fast traveled" for me and caused the area to advance and everything was cleared out. You can do all the story/events in the area first or make sure you don't use warp points. (but watching this video it seem sending character 1 at a time through the warp seems to work)
Was it just the warp point? or did you long rest? If you long rest it moves time forward for saving Nere.
*FYI, you don't need to leave a person to operate the levers, they can be triggered by shooting at them with a ranged weapon.*
you can deal over 100dmg to the robot if you position it under the forge hammer at the center and pull the lever that hammers it. you can lure him under it because it always attacks the last party member that attacked it. lure it to the center and smash it while its vulnerable. dont worry about smashing your own companions cause you they only fall unconcious and even after death you can bring em back easily
If you're an achievement seeker, you miss out on an achievement by using the forge hammer to kill the boss. Just a heads up.
@@RetroGuy_77 did not know that, but i dont really care about achievements so it worked great for me
Btw, you don't necessarily need the lava to be there at all times during the golem fight. So long as the debuff "Superheated," is active, it'll take double damage. Bringing the lava back only resets the debuff. The Debuff typically lasts 2 turns after the lava disappears so plenty time to kill it.
I wish there was actual upgrading and enchanting weapons in this game.
Honestly, I can't believe this is still up. The proper way to do this fight is to draw him to the middle, which is easy because he goes after whoever hit him last. Once in the middle you smash him by pulling the lever. Do that twice and he is dead.
But but... achievement.
Truth be told, I just wailed into him until he broke down, because my brain runs on stupid juice at times. 🤣
Him dying on the hammer area also runs the risk of it bugging out and only having one use for crafting.
You can bait him towards the middle and smash him, but ig he needs to be partially in lava. Does200 dmg i think.
You don't have to leave a anyone behind. You can just shoot the lever with arrows or use magehand, works with buttons too
you can force trade with all npcs during conversations using the icon for trade bottom left.... FYI often opens up access items normally cant get without combat etc, just make sure use high Charisma characters
You can hit the golem with the hammer if one of its feet are in the lava. That deals hundreds of damage in one strike.
This is the faster, smarter, better option... stack party other side of where it enters, keep one at the wheel... tag it with ranged damage, let it target that character and walk under the hammer on the following turn, smack it, then make it target the wheel character, walk over there, then ranged target it again and make it go back under the hammer, 2 shots and its dead, then clean up the mess and make the stuff with the forge
Thanks for the disclaimer Firespark! i've waited over 20 years to play BG3 and your respect for not spoiling is something I appreciate! still gonnah hit like to drive this video up in the algorithm!
Be sure to come back before you finish act 1!
If u want to kill the boss easy use the hammer in the middle(the one that makes the armour) to kill him... It makes 150dmg ...that means u need 2 turns to kill him
Talk to the Bulls and persuade them to attack the dwarfs instead. Also Force magic cleans up those rocks if you don't have dynamite
Edit: also use the forge itself to hit and kill grym fast while he's hot
For the ox, better grab a animal communication potion so they attack only the Druegars. And you can just shoot the lever with arrows to let your all party cross at the same time.
Edit : as for the boss, in the under dark you find a drow that has its weakness on it. You either push him in the lava or bring him to the hammer. The fight should be much easier like that
So all you have to do on the boss is have someone stand on the forge, or command the boss to go there then pop that forge lever again and it'll do half his health. He then needs to walk into the fire again to get superheated.
If you choose to talk to the bison lookin things they will not only clear the rubble for you, but help you in the battle vs the Drueger.
Even faster boss fight if you just hit the boss with the forge hammer.
If you do this the forge will seize up and you won't be able to make anything after the first item.
So that's how u get here. I turned into a bird and got here lol
Nope I did this still got the item and made a second item @@jfletcher12
@@jfletcher12 Not sure what you're on about... It's the intended way to beat the boss, and is definitely still usable after killing it this way
If you can talk to the ox they will break the wall for you, then the dwarves will try to kill the oxen. I managed to kill two, the third was sent flying off the cliff by an ox. The ox won't attack you as long as you don't hit them.
yeah, i did this part and idk if it glitched or what. but after the fight scene. literally everyone in the whole grymforge was dead. i said be free ox fight the power and be free option. ( i wanted to save the gnomes, but no where to be found.)
The Duagar fight with the oxen things is why you need speak to animals ability
easiest way to beat the forge boss is make him walk to the middle and pull the lever he will die from it, kill two birds with one (throw) or arrow shot to the lever, also i found if you craft the armour second they are very rare not just rare and extemely powerful. I have never tried to create a weapon 2nd so not sure if that makes it very rare or rare.
Or for the fight position a character in the centre forge, hit him to draw him over. Mist step away and pull the lever. 150 damage. Pour more lava so his legs glow molten, repeat. I used my Paladin with two ways to mist step for ease. If he's got a couple hp left, magic missile should kill him as he's pretty much immune/ resilient to everything else.
You can give adamantine slag to Dammon in Baldurs Gate act 3 and he crafts some good armor i cant really remember. Dammon is prolly the best armor merchant in the game btw. Save the Tieflings!
Every time I see stuff like this I can't believe how much content is in this game. I spent forever in the underdark and missed part of this.. I also killed all the dwarves and sided with the plants and that gives you other options..
That boss fight is also a piece of cake if you do it like everyone else... Lure it to the big hammer in the middle of the forge and trigger the hammer when the boss is standing under it. It's like two turns to kill him if I remember correctly.
about those levers, you can just shoot them and do not need to leave behind anyone they will switch from shot/spell etc.
or if you prefer you can use mage hand
11:00 I used the massive ram in the middle of the platform to crush the boss, it is a bit trickier because you have to have him step into the lava after each ram, but he will follow the last character to hit him.
Yeah, same. Just use range to trigger the focus on someone on opposite end of the platform and strike it with a hammer in the middle by pulling the lever. One swing takes around half of its HP.
For Grym, you can just lure it over to the hammer and smack it for half its hit points. rinse and repeat and its dead after 2 smacks.
That’s what I did..lol
Additionally *all* hammer, mace and club damage works on it, but only when the magma is flowing and Grym is superheated.
The first two items you're getting is not ore, it's slag. Slag is the impurities you get from melting down metal. The changes of slag being usefull is about as good as me finishing the game begore the next weekend (not good tomuch to do.)
Comment section is brutal here with a bunch of why didnt you do it the "right" way. Yall watched the video and your lives have moved on relax. You dont need to cook the guy. He already won the fight
I just made a medium + heavy set of armor to give to two of my characters, good value.
For the caved in wall at the start I just stacked 2 of the nearby boxes on top of each other and then just jumped over it.
Why not just lure the boss the center and HALT it there? Use the forge to take 1/3 of its health. 3 rounds and its dead.
In the conversation with the dwarves and rothe you can actually convince them to let the rothe clear the rubble then fight them. No wasted explosives.
or pick up a bludgeoning weapon and hit it a few times, so great to see how many differenz solutions a out there even for such small interactions.
@CritteRino or you can ask the rothe to fight the guys beating them and then ask them politely to open the way.
You can also ask the two animals to clear the rubble for you.
juist to clarify.. OP means OverPowered.. which these items... are not. They are at best decent at the time you get them, but will and should soon be replaced
There’s a much better way to do the fight. The golem has a trait where it automatically chooses as his target the last person who attacked him. You just position your characters in opposite sides, and when he walks across the middle of the platform you pull the lever and the forge hammer chunks a huge part of its HP… three times and he’s dead just out of that.
Yeah this made it way easier. Not a breeze, mind you, because of the way the positioning can be, but much easier.
@@kon2507 I think you can also bait him into walking into the hammer spot and them hammer him with it lol.
You can shoot your ranger weapons at the lever if you’re far away to activate the hammer
Using animal speak lets you talk the ox into fighting for you and breaking the wall as a favor.
You know that you can bypass the whole trap way and even the blocked gate?
Right before you reach the place where you have to free Nere you can jump up and you are right in front of the step to the waypoint, and you can kill the so called Boss when you agro him with one person by dmg him and getting threat assesment then lure him in the middle and use the forge, do that 2 times and he is down.
You don't have to use lever and ramps. I got a jump everywhere. Immediately when entering the market at the conspiracy dwarfs there is a passage. You just have to jump. In addition, you can talk to oxen and smoothly and then help in the fight against dwarves.
Just shoot the levers. Don’t need to leave someone behind
Very nice Video. I was wondering where there other molds were. I only got three. I will now go back and get the rest. Thank You :D
easier way is to use the forge hammer cylinder to deal all the damage by having him target( target is based on the last thing that hits him) a character on the opposite side of the platform and when he in under-ish that cylinder activate it and 2 turns of this he is done... no damage taken by any of your characters.
Talk to the ox and they will fight with you.
This could not have come at a better time. I saved and quit the game last night right next to that boat. < 3
Could only use the forge once in my playthrough. The wheel to let the lava in was jammed afterwards.
You didn't smash the boss with the hammer in the middle? I just baited with a high AC party member and killed him in 3 turns and only got hit once. Never even used a resource on him.
the same, the las party member who give him damage gets his attention and you can draw him twords the middle
Using Speak with Animals will get the Rothe to destroy the wall for you.
You can also get the Rothe to fight the duergar for you and they headbutt them into the chasm. It's a lot of fun.
Going through the game I take every smokepoweder barrel I can find and send it to camp. Just pulled one out of mu inventory and boom problem solved.
If you have speak to animals you can have the rams help you, and they will fight with you after the dwarves attack you.
One of them INSTANTLY threw the dwarf near the cliff off on my playthrough, made that fight so easy. Highly recommended.
Nice thing out the forge armor is its still relevant even in Act 2 and 3. Especially if your not selling everything thats bolt down for gp to buy the 7k armor from vendors :). The Forge Weapons fall off faster then the armor, so I would suggest to make the armor. Even at level 12 more or less at the end, my kalach is stick rocking the Scale Mail since Barbs need to stay in Medium armor for Rage.
Why anyone buys anything from vendors is beyond me. Just grab Astarion and Shadowheart from camp if they're not in your party and use the right equipment + guidance and you can steal anything. Just stealth, turn timer, pickpocket, take everything and run away before they notice and chase after you. Wait like 20 seconds for them to reset before going back. I have about 20k halfway through act 2
Lovely work mate ,keep them coming😊
You can control the levers with arrows and move all 4 at once.
You can put a fighter on either side of it so everyone has advantage on attacks. Also you can use halt, trip attack, or anything that knocks it prone to avoid or minimize damage.
Cool guide! you can also ask the animals to clear the rubble and use mage hand to deal with the levers with split the party
In case no one has mentioned it, you can use a fly spell or gaseous form spell to fly up to the spot where you pick up the splint mold, from the area where Nere is trapped by rubble. So you can completely bypass the puzzles to get the waypoint lol
At 4:09 you can get all the characters on the platform and shoot the lever with a arrow/ use mage hand.
you can also hit it with eldritch blast :D
If u agree to help them and use animal talking u can start the fight with the oxes helping you
There is a better way to kill the golem. He always target the last person that hit him. You need to lure him on the big hammer in the center and as he step there, you can use the hammer to bash him. He will suffer over a hundred damage and you can do it multiple time. Just need to have someone that turn the wheel to keep him on lava, and you can lure him from one side of the ring to another. It is much faster and safer.
right? thats my usual strat
You have to move the Guardian golem to the center of the forge and then smash him using the lever.
No you don't "have to" and honestly that seems like a pita. My strat kills him in like 4 easy turns where he basically doesn't get to even move. Seems way easier than trying to kite it around in an area full of lava that does massive damage. But you do you. Cheers!
stop arguing with stubborn people, lol @@Firespark81
U can kill the boss if u make him come to the center and bring the hammer of the forge on him
There's an achievement for doing it without the forge. Think that's why he did it the hard way 😅
If you have speak with animals you can convinse the oxen to fight by your side.
Sussur bloom flowers nearby completely disable constructs. Just keep one on a melee. (but put it back in a box at back to camp when you are done)
You can bypass all the levers and elevators and all the jazz with Misty Step :)
OR a scroll/potion of Fly
