Shelly, my sweet husband, who has passed, was the same way! We had to shop on Christmas Eve for the kids because he wanted to give them to them as soon as we got home! I always made him wait at least til they were wrapped, so they lasted until Christmas morning cause it took me all night to wrap them!!!! But he could never hold out if it was my gift, anytime of the year...as soon as he bought it, I got it!

My favorite thing about Christmas this year is watching your channel and living vicariously through your family. I’m disabled so I can’t do all the fun stuff you do with your kids. I love watching the kids’ eyes and listening to the laughter. It’s the way it used to be when our kids were growing up. Since then I’ve lost my two brothers, my Grandparents and my Dad. So Christmas isn’t the same for me. I try to enjoy it, but it just stresses me out.
My favorite Christmas in recent times is watching Crazy Middles Christmas’s past and present. Seeing all the kids together when they were younger was so touching. Of course love Crazy Pieces. However, seeing all those kids mature over the whole and now some with children of their own. The dynamic ❤is just a great testimony of Jared’s and your love Shelley, for each other and the your mix crazy middles. Crazy Pieces is also that. Crystal and Aaron is the base. Their love for each other . How the engage with the children even when one goes off the railings . Regardless of what people comment or what have you. You all are steadfast and move forward together. You give options and consequences. Crazy part is that is so powerful. Whether it’s being exposed for messy drawers ( 😂 I won’t mention her by name but kudos ) or games you all set up. Favorite game was probably the card game high low card game with consequences of water being dumped on you. Best and Classic Christmas with my big family in my old times....we were up and down, but still had fun at Christmas. Because my family and I visited relatives in Utah for Christmas. We played the snow slides, threw the snowballs, made the snow angels, and all even spent time with them like opening presents on Christmas Day.....ate breakfast together too. of course old fashioned way without super technologies like computers, texts, TV games, etc....nothing......only one TV without TV remote, limit channels--> 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 11.....black and white shows I love Lucy, etc, played with the toys, riding a bicycle, climbing the trees, and all like that without complaining....extremely joyful and laughed a lot... He’s known as “Mr. Christmas “ and he starts decorating his home and property I want to say in September or October and if you want to come see the lights you need to bring a donation for our local food bank. He has so many lights and decorations as well as the fire going in the fire pit, hot chocolate, a Christmas movie playing in his basement that you can watch from outside and a big swing! It’s so fun to take the time to spend together to do it every year!!

My favorite thing about Christmas is we go to a house close by and walk around looking at all of his Christmas decorations. He’s known as “Mr. Christmas “ and he starts decorating his home and property I want to say in September or October and if you want to come see the lights you need to bring a donation for our local food bank. He has so many lights and decorations as well as the fire going in the fire pit, hot chocolate, a Christmas movie playing in his basement that you can watch from outside and a big swing! It’s so fun to take the time to spend together to do it every year!!

I love the tree and the lights, my son puts the tree up, thankfully our cat who is only 2 does not bother the tree. I love cooking for my hubs, son, aunt and cousin. The Christmas shows on tv, buying gifts and wrapping them.
