Really love the message of the poem, which I think boils down to finding peace with things that are ultimately beyond our control and ability to change. Obviously applicable to relationships, but also many other aspects of life.
Yes totally applicable to many aspects of life 😊 I first heard this poem after an argument with my case manager actually! Initially I had pre-written her a rather angry/defensive message. I think writing without sending helped me process things. But ultimately I realised that sometimes it's best to let it be. Even if I sometimes feel like fighting for what's right, I'm not here to teach people how to behave. Life can be much simpler if we let it. The good news is that a week later when I met up with her again. It was a clean slate. Both of us treated eachother with respect 🙂 The poem reminds me of the classic song "Let it be" by The Beatles. Obviously, there are times we should speak up. But more often than not, life has a way of working itself out. Thanks for watching and for your insightful message Ismael 😊 PS It's 4.18am.
