  • Thank you for watching Tabletop For One!
    In this video, I do a solo playthrough of the first hole in the Rolling Realms solitaire golfing challenge. Rolling Realms is designed by Jamey Stegmaier and published by Stonemaier Games. Rolling Realms is a roll & write game featuring eleven different puzzles in the base game with at least nine additional promo puzzles available. I hope you enjoy the game and this playthrough.
    Let me know in comments below what you think of the game. Please like and subscribe to this channel. Thank you again for watching.

    I basically understood everything in your video except Charterstone. I didn't get that at all, but it's my first video about Rolling Realms so for me that is not unusual. Good video!

      Charterstone is my least favorite, and it can be confusing. You can use a die to either 1) cross off a top number and then write the other die result in the box below it or 2) cross off all crate numbers that match the die chosen. You get stars for each crate crossed off. So, if the roll is a 6 and a 1, you can cross off the six on the upper portion and then write 1 in the crate below the six. Then later, if you roll a one or choose to use one coin (to create a virtual "1" die), you can cross each crate that shows a "1" in it. I hope that helps.

    Just subscribed. Question time stamp 8:05 you mentioned anytime you've done charter stone you had a hard time crossing off the crates higher than 2? But why is that?

      Thank you very much. I'm glad you are here.
      I just have always had a hard time making Charterstone efficient. If the crates are 1s and 2s, then it's easily solved with coins. Higher than that, and I have to rely on the dice roll or maybe copying a high die or something like that. So, I tend to focus on the other cards, assuming they are easier to score on.

      @tabletopforone that part I did not get how is it easier solved with coins? Can you please provide an example? I just received my copy two days ago so I'm new to rolling realms thank you in advance

      The coins can be used to produce a new imaginary die. Depending on how many coins you spend will be the value of that die. So, spend three coins, and you get a 3-die. You can use this imaginary die on the third card that you didn't use in a round. So, in the case of Charterstone, if I use my two rolled dice on the other two cards, I could spend one coin to make a 1-die and use it in Charterstone. That's where it makes it easy to check off boxes that have 1 in them.

    Also time stamp 14:28 what did you mean by zero? What would zero be used for?

    • @tabletopforone
      @tabletopforone  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The zero would be used so you can use the die without changing its value. So, if you want to add a second die value to a card you've already used this round, spend 3 pumpkins and use the second die with an adjustment of +1,-1, or zero (no adjustment)
