I think we all need that “port in a storm” somewhere we find that’s safe and comfortable. For many of us you, my friend, are our port in the storm. Thank you.
Thank you, fascinating. Tried it, but i'm not that skilled yet, so bit muddy. And thank you for the background music. Not the ding dong, but the male and female singers.its nice to work with that? What is the name of the group?
I watched few watercolor artists they are all talented. I enjoyed your work the most. You make it easy and what I love and appreciate is mixing the colors. the name of the paint and the brushes you use for each painting you do. Thank you. I love and enjoy painting Its my hobby. I'm 92 years old. from NY USA
As always your choice of music turns the experience of watching you paint into a real pleasure. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and skills with us.
Mr. Paul! I didn`t draw at all before the war. You can`t even imagine what a miracle and mystery this is for me. And you are for me - a guide to the world of miracles. Thank you for this mystery!
You are hilarious with your dream stories & your breaktime. The background trees - magical.. Lov the white gouache touches-really adds a magical touch in the end…
Thank you so much. I think occasionally using real life time helps, but I think the time of your lessons is perfect! Your editing and film speed actually helps and I learn so much from your lessons. Plus, I really enjoy them! Thanks again!
Thank you Paul. Here in Buffalo New York we expect to be greeted with four feet of snow by Saturday. Not looking forward to that, but I will say, Your painting puts a beautiful spin on the whole prospect of winter.
It's a beautiful painting Paul. I'm going to show it to Joy. I'm sure she'll love it too. When it comes to painting joy and my cat cooter are my biggest fans
Lovely picture of a Dream of a village Cottage Pub...made me feel warm and relaxed ( despite the snow) with the added bonus of an impeccable painting tutorial Thank You Paul !!!
I enjoyed watching you create this painting and the music was so peaceful. I was amused by your dream. Going to have to find tjis destination in real life. It must exist somewhere! Thank you for this lesson.
Very lovely, Paul! Great imagination in your dreams. Thanks for sharing this one with us, and breaking it down so that even us beginners can do it. Love to you both from the US. ❤
Beautiful painting, I hope it will be a real winter here in the Netherlands this year, but I will paint it anyway. Thank you very much for the great lesson.
Paul I love that you painted from a dream. I am a dream interpretation coach so I appreciate this aspect of painting inspiration. Any time you have a reoccurring dream, it is because your subconscious is telling you to pay attention and it keeps having to give you the same message over and over. A car in a dream symbolizes your body so if your car keeps breaking down then I suggest you pay attention to something going on with your health. Walking is the forward motion you are going towards a state of mind (pub) where knowledge (shepherds pie) is available. This is a very short simple interpretation. I love everything you do.
Smiling, as I thoroughly enjoy another Wonderful Wednesday while watching you put paint to paper and produce the pure magic that you seem so effortlessly to share with us week after week. As we all step into your dream and join you by the fire at the Snow Drop Inn, we raise our mugs and share a toast to a healthy and happy holiday season for all. Cheers, my friend! ❄️👩🦳🍻
Not been so well recently. Paul. Have been looking for a new hobby now so many of my old ones are out. This has really inspired me to try watercolour and try to capture my Cornish gate lodge! Thanks, man. Really appreciated.
Paul, you are my favorite. Inspiring. Funny. Sweet. One of your videos always brings about peace after a day in the life. I'm grateful and I learn so much, mostly about the fact that I NEED to relax, in my odding er painting but odding too, and my soul. *aaaahhhhhhhhhh* Hi to The Other Voice!
Just so lovely….your limited palette use is so inspiring and encouraging to a new painter like me. This is so cozy, I would certainly drop in - hopefully they have some lentils stewing too. 🌱😉
Whilst watching the tutorial, I thought to myself 'hang on a sec, I've seen this place before, that's the artist Charles Evans' house in Acklington Northumberland'. I don't know if you've both met before being watercolour artists, but very strange and so similar, spooky to say the least. This painting is great!, must have a go. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your lessons.
Hello, I am a beginner, from France. Your tutorials or step by step are very helpfull for me. I like very much what you do and I want to thank you for teaching in such a nice way.
Really enjoyed stepping into this magical scene Paul.....you brought your imaginary Snowdrop Pub into reality. Thank you for sharing this with all the useful tips on how to paint a snowy picture.
Absolutely Marvelous !! Loved it , your techniques and bringing the painting to life by the tiny minute details. Just marvelous. I love shepherds pie, and Cotswold. 😍😍😍..Britain is such a beautiful place. With its history and quaint small towns. All very pituresque , your paintings reflect that magic. Thank-you , so much for all the videos you make for us. I will definetly try this. Have saved many pictures of cotswold to paint. 😊 Thank-you again. 🥰🙏
Good evening dear Paul! Now I watched your video and got 26 minutes of positive and enjoying art! Thank you. Great show! The picture turned out to be alive. The paper itself draws, and the paint blurs into images without a brush. It’s a miracle, how interesting! You can’t paint with oil like that, you have to smear it with a brush. Painting is not production, it is an impulse of the soul when there is a mood! I don’t like orders, but I do all kinds of work myself, because. there are deadlines for the delivery of work to the customer and nit-picking to work, besides, the picture may not coincide with the customer's expectation!it drives and obliges as a slave, I do not feel free. I don’t like it, that’s why I don’t take orders. A beautiful card for the upcoming Christmas turned out, and most importantly, with my own hands! This concludes my comment and I wish you dear Paul, as always, good luck and good health, don’t get sick and don’t drink cold water from crane🤣🤣🤣!Bye....bye...😊🖼️👩🎨🎨🌨️🌨️❄️❄️🖐️🤗
Une très belle aquarelle de saison avec un sujet très poétique qui donne envie de persévérer dans ce médium et qui apprend beaucoup. Merci pour ce que vous faites. 🏡🇨🇵
I'm in love with this painting. The stream made it just perfect. The colors are so cozy. I want to spend an evening at this Inn listening to the same music you were playing. This painting has super great energy. Thanks that is a perfect dream.
Dreamy! If I ever visit the UK, I will definitely find a cottage in winter and paint one also through this painting demo. Thank you, Paul, for this one. I will paint along soon! Cheers.
I really like the tree you drew! I really hope that one day I can draw such a charming tree with confidence! If the tree is not painted well, the painting will not be perfect either.
Just lovely and enchanting 🥰, reminds me of a local pub when I was little called, The Black Horse in Binsted near Arundel. Also love it’s that time for winter scenes again!
Dear Paul, Love the soft muted colours. Especially the softness of the trees in the background. It’s a very fitting scene today for us as we are having our first snowfall of the season in Montreal . It’s a lovely white ❄️winter wonderland outside our window. I look forward every Wednesday for your lovely videos. Thank you Lorraine🙂
Good afternoon, dear Paul! It is a fairy tale scene what reminds us of winter happiness and warmth inside the house. A great painting to present for Christmas. Keep dreaming and teach us to put this in reality! Thank you for great tutorial. Greetings from Moldova, Lilia Birnaz

Thank you so much!

I copied you as closely as I could. I get in less trouble that way😉. My wife especially liked this project. I think it’s the style of not taking the painting to the borders. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.
Absolutely love th mixing of the colors loose and random, but yet strategically placed for the best results. Learn so much every time! As always, thank you for your time! Janell :0)
