I've ordered a 2024 Roubaix Comp with 105 Di2. So far it's got just one problem. It hasn't arrived yet. Like you, my previous bike was a gravel bike although I have never raced. The 2024 model has tyre clearance of up to 40mm, so I'm also planning to use it for light gravel.
The only thing that I was worried about was Shimano - cables. But the whole bike is amazing. Did couple short ride and right now planing something longer in calendar :)
With modern Di2, the only wires are between the front and rear derailleurs and the battery. The levers are wireless. The main reason I chose Shimano over SRAM was the hubs on my carbon wheelset. I have SRAM GX mechanical on my mountain bike and it doesn't feel as smooth as Shimano. Although I know someone with SRAM Force eTap on their gravel bike and they seem pretty happy with it.
I'm in the same situation. Swapping out the wheels straightaway with carbon wheelset. Already have a higher end Di2, so I'm keen to see how good the 105 Di2 will be. Happy with the extra easy gears I will get!
Great video. I've often wondered how the home mechanic would go about servicing or making adjustments to the headset / handlebar height with future shock equipped bikes?

@@WhaJMc sound fair. I will test Sram this year on my both bikes. Let's see :)

Good question. I will ask them or maybe I will make a YT video about that :)
Great bike. Nice job on the video.
Thank you. Next stop AMR :)

yes, indeed :)
When you are, and I mean not you, are multilingual some times we use our words differently and grammar may need more attention.
