    Hi, thanks for this video I have been following in the past a few days and I still have a few questions about remesh , I found this issue when I Ctrl J my arms and body and remesh again but the nails they are not that high poly anymore after remesh , do I need to add multiresolution with full body like my head, body , arms and legs? I don’t know why everytime I remesh and some details are disappeared and when the remesh is 0.01 and all the faces are extremely high

    This is so inspiring! I'm new at this and aside from getting used to which brushes to use, my biggest issue right now is choosing the size and strength of the brush, and constantly changing/adjusting it as the sculpting happens. Do I move a lot, or a little? What size should it be? How strong? I'm always getting caught up in that, and it's interfering with the actual 'creativity' of it all :( I just need to keep practicing

  • @Violet_Parakeet
    @Violet_Parakeet 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Finally "finished" the head and torso on my character, now it's time to move on to legs and arms. However every time I re-watch the part for creating legs and arms I get confused.
    I don't understand how to create the curve (for the knees) at 13:44. I assume that Aram Torkan extrudes half the sphere and also does some other steps, but I'm unsure about the whole process and every time I try recreating the curve for the knees, there are not enough vertices to create detail.
    If anyone could clarify what steps I need to do to get through this part, it would be very helpful.

    Why do some videos of sculpting have the little squares and triangles on the body and others don't? Is it because there's 2 ways of sculpting? One with (what i assume are polygons) and the other without them?

    • @GloryBlazer
      @GloryBlazer 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All the models end up as polygons, difference is in the count. If there are many of them it looks smooth.

    • @evilotis01
      @evilotis01 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      belatedly, but: you generally need to remesh after you join the pieces, whether you join them with boolean or Ctrl-J. you'll want to ensure that the detail levels on each piece are about the same.

    Hey, at 14:00 you are scaling the skin modifier for the hands in edit mode. I'm playing around trying to get familiar with modifiers but I am unable to scale at all like you are doing. I have watched your beginners tutorial but I don't see one where you talk about modifiers and such. What am I doing wrong?

    • @AramTorkanArt
      @AramTorkanArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      When you add skin modifier and subdivision modifier, the single vertex transform to a sphere, right? So before extruding this sphere, first you can scale it by using “S” and then start extruding it, ok? And when it’s done, you should first apply the modifiers and then go to sculpt mode and start sculpting it🤗

    • @akelamoore7245

    there are some really good techniques in here. i especially like how you built up the pectoral muscle groups on the torso so that the breasts sit properly, instead of just grabbing the inflate brush and going "hur hur titties". as others have noted, your use of the Skin modifier is really clever, too. bravo!
