- This week's video is a LONG one for a great reason! In early September, myself and over ONE HUNDRED others spent an entire weekend with our metal detectors in search of old treasure... the kind of treasure that only New England can offer! Dozens of old copper coins, silver coins, and mind-blowing relics from days of old were pulled out of the ground in all directions. This was yet another amazing event put on by Dirt Fishing Adventures, and we all had a blast! Enjoy!

As always great finds. Nic too! Not much of a toy person either but I would definitely display the derringer and badge.
I always enjoy heading up north and hanging out with you Stef! Until the next time my friend!
Hi Stef, glad to see you are feeling better. What a great hunt with good friends. Lots of good finds for sure. Thanks for taking the time to show us everything. Having been a news photographer and TV cameraman you do a great job covering everything… John
Well done Stef. Great to be out detecting with a group of friends. Looks like you were having a brilliant time. Congrats on the finds. Tough gig filming everyone else’s finds as well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Awesome video Stef!
Hope you are feeling better day by day!
Loved seeing everyone’s incredible saves!!! Fascinating goodies!
That one item for Joe early on looked similar to an old soldiers whistle…
Thanks Ally! A police whistle was also suggested - I didn’t have time to research it, though.
Glad you're feeling better Stef! That was an awesome video, nothing like group hunts, everyone pulling for everyone and sharing laughs and lots of great finds. Fun times!
Thank you, me too! 😆 And yes, they’re always a blast, even if I don’t get to dig the whole time because I’m too busy yapping, hah!
Best group hunt video I have seen in a while. Looked like a bunch of fun. Thanks for sharing!!!
That looks like it was so much fun! So many amazing finds so the sites must have been undetected, which is great. I was glad to see you found as much as you did! I know trying to film and all the socializing really cuts into your dig time. Wonderful video Stef!! ❤
Thanks Elisabeth! Yes, it certainly does cut in to digging time. 😂 Always fun, though!
❤ Brad! I hope he's feeling better. 🤗
So glad to see you’re feeling better thanks for the video. Keep them coming.
More to come!
This was a ton of fun Stef! I enjoyed all of it.
Thank you!
Great finds, sorry you were sick ,❤
Great video Stef. Love watching these organized hunts. Get to see everyone in the same video.
They’re always a lot of fun!
Very cool footage I hope to attend a hunt like that one day God Bless and happy dirt fishing…Virgil…p.s hope your feeling better!!!
Thank you! 😊
Nice to see the youngsters as well as the oldsters finding good stuff Stef. Perhaps one day you guys will wander North and see us in Canada 😉🇨🇦
I need to travel more - always a possibility! 😊
Great video Stef! Looks like you had a blast!
Was a great time!
@@StefDigs honestly would love to attend a a detecting event in the US, the events up here are so far and few and would require quite the travel! That and we don’t get near as old of finds up here!
Thanks Stef. Great video. Glad you’re feeling better. I’ll have to try to get to that hunt. I’ve never done an all natural hunt before.
Thanks! There was a seeded hunt as well, I just never participate!
Wow Stef. What a great video and I really liked all those cool coins and relics that were found and the sterling silver cow that Brad found in the pasture
The cow was so funny, so appropriate, and awesome all at once!
Great video Stef,thank you,Indiana Nathan.
Thanks Nathan!
👍👍👍
That looked like a really good time
Great time!
Great hunt as always. I was in awe stay dirty 👍
Thanks Wayne!
Hey Stef, I believe Joe’s whistle is 1860s civil war, military. Found one up in Maine and gave it to the landowner, whose ancestors served in that war. Nice hunt!
Who’s … thanks, autocorrect!
wow alot of amazing finds
You said it!
I love how quarter hoarder measures all silver finds in how many quarters worth they are 😅😅😅
Hahaha, I think that large piece was half an ounce or so, can’t remember what Brad said - but he did weigh it!
Worth the wait! That was a great video and some awesome finds. I can’t wait to start metal detecting. With being a single mom of 3 and substituting it’s hard to get out. But hope to start soon.
I hope you do, too!
19th century round pea whistle
Surely that is an old police whistle???
Could be!
Those war nickels are all over the place. The only one I've found with the manticore was a 26-27 vdi but I've found them with the Xterra pro up in the 50s vdi. Strange
That is odd! That’s the only one I’ve dug with the Manticore, but I thought I’d air tested one on the Equinox 900 and it was around 30-32. Bizarre!
Silver cow made after 1970-90s sterling silver before 1970. So not that old but cool!
they made US Large cents in 1839-1857 and again in 1868.
Didn’t know that! Although looking at the rarity of the 1868, it’s probably safe to say the Braided Hair in the video fell under the typical date range.
Jason you can give me the airplane. I’ll appreciate it
I think a lot of people would - but he appreciates toys more than I do! 😆
Nice to see all the familiar faces enjoying a great hunt.
Had a blast! 😊
Glad to have you back in the fields detecting.
Same! 😁
