Love that Chopper, proper rat look and you can't moan for 25 quid! Definitely needs a mini mag on the front, it looked the business when you leaned it up against the spoked wheel. 😀
Cheers Phil. I'll finish it off, put the mini mag on the front (for display purposes) then ask in the comments what looks best. A few little jobs to complete and some missing components then it's an off road test ride 😔
That is the thing bud. Trying to replicate what we did as kids.. hunt the tips, scrap yards, swapping out parts. The back wheel has 30 year old grime, to find a mini mag wheel with 30 year old grime to match will be difficult. The seat condition, back wheel condition and cleanliness of the frame and the botch job chain guard all match. The front chopper wheel is rough as is and kind of suits... Will definitely stick the mag on just to compare. Cheers for the comments
Thankyou.. I haven't been anywhere, just unable recently to put out any content unfortunately. I'm on the lookout for a mini burner with mags, rough condition. I'll be buying it as a breaker just for the front wheel then I'll move the rest on for a drink
Cheers Paul Martin. I'll finish it off and get everything tight and together. I'll keep an eye out for a mini burner with mags or just a front wheel. Cracking colours though. I knew I badly painted those forks for a reason !! 😲
@@jmilton5842you're referring to the RSW?.. yes, that'll get a good going over but ultimately someone will be more than happy with it to fix up, no warranty offered etc but yeah, definitely won't be letting it go in a dodgy condition

@dealermike1331 The only thing is will it look too good with a front mag? 😁 It looks more ratty when the wheels don't match. 😄

Matching front wheel, some steel wool and WD40 to the rust and please use fresh brake cables!
Thanks for the comment. Yes definitely 100% new brake cables .. I need this to be able to stop after 3'pints at the local 🚴🤕
@dealermike1331 yeah, you don't want that phone call from a potential buyer or recipient, or worse, a parent.

Hi m8 think I missed the Sissy clamps on eBay did you manage to find a seat strap cheers Gary
Hi Gary.. apologies, I'll message you on eBay 🚴
Looking for a chopper mk2 rear wheel.
One on eBay earlier at £50, that may have sold by now. Have you got anything in mind in terms of budget or condition?
It depends on condition really I've had it resprayed and lots of bits rechromed.
