It is definitely worth it. Just to experience the rich histories and stunning landscapes. Being out in these green spaces is so therapeutic. To see the beautiful gardens in different seasons and the walks all good for your mental wellbeing and mindfulness.
Couldnt agree more.. And because it's a membership, once you've paid the annual cost, you're more likely to go out and visit the places because it the 'feels' like a free day out each time.
I have been getting a joint membership for my parents for the last few years and it's definitely worth it for them. Here in Norfolk we have Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, Oxburgh Hall and Sheringham Park to name a few. They enjoy the tea rooms and a good walk all through the year and they definitely make it pay.
Oh wow. You do only need to go a few times a year to make your money back. We've been members for years, and gradually, there are more and more families with kids becoming members. No matter where you are in the country, there's always a good selection of places to explore. Thanks as always for watching. Have a great weekend. Matt and Issy
Hi guys, I must admit, I haven't got NT Membership, but I have been to the gardens at Blickling and Holkham Hall here in Norfolk and Sheringham Park is truly stunning esp in May when the massive mature Rhododendrons and Azaleas are out, just a wall of colour is the only way to describe them! Many thanks for the video, I thought it was very informative and really useful for anyone who is thinking of joining up! Take care all of you, best wishes, Jane
Hi! It's funny that everyone has their set of local national trust places, no matter where they are in the country. Glad you thought it might be useful to people. We were just trying a different type of video that was a little bit more formal and informational in style. Hope you're staying warm and having a great weekend. Matt, Issy and Sienna x
@ExploreHomeRepeat Well, I think we favour what is local to us so less travelling time. 🙂 Yeah it's been very frosty and cold here in Norfolk. Staying in where possible at the moment!
@Jane_and_Meg We went to Cadbury World today, but mainly because it's largely an indoor attraction. Even at midday it was still minus 2! Next week is supposed to warm up
I love being a NT member. Mine ran out in August but waiting until March when the houses etc are back open! I love Wimpole Estate, Waddestone Manor, Cannons Ashby, Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House. Snowshill Manor is also another very interesting site. Bodiam Castle in East Sussex is one I would LOVE to visit, its just a bit far from me for a day trip unfortunately.
You must live in a similar area to us! We like all of those properties too. Matt is originally from Sussex, so has been to Bodium Castle. It's amazing, well worth a visit! Matt and Issy
I love National Trust! It is so worth it!
We do too! Any recommendations for properties? Thanks for watching!
Charlecote park and Hanbury Hall
