Nameless, Texas on the 1885 USGS survey (printed 1893)

The 1885 USGS survey is the first map I've been able to find that includes Nameless, TX.

Genny Kercheville, author of Namless: Its History and People, says "The post master was James Polk Colley ... He came to Texas in 1859 and in 1868 married Eliza Smedley. In 1877, they moved to Smedley property on Nameless Rd. now called the Colley Ranch." Both the book Texas Post Offices by County and the Nameless THC marker application had misspelled his name as "Corley".
The 1885 USGS survey is actually of Williamson County (I said Travis) but included this northwest portion of Travis.
