Hi Zach, I enjoy your videos, and I will be 83 in 20 days. When I was younger, I worked a single steer twitching out wood and working the vegetable garden in the State of Maine. Now I do it all by hand in Illinois.

Thanks for sharing the video Zach. Enjoyed watching y'all work the mules. He definitely has a great garden and he made a good crop of potatoes. Pretty looking soil too. Yes sir it has been hot. Stay safe out there working.
It's not only great to see good mules doing their work, but also to see farmers working together. It seems this little patch had quite a nice yield of potatoes. I plow out my potatoes with a regular riding plow, since I can't walk behind the plow anymore. Our soil here is very heavy, and the heat and heavy rains thrash it down even more.
That makes sense. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. It was a good day and yes his potatoes did well! Thanks for always watching and commenting! I really appreciate it
Yes very much so and thank you for noticing! My pa taught me that as a young boy. He had a deep affection for mules. No ma’am. Mules are similar to donkeys. Their feet are more upright. A mule has steeper shoulder angles also. A mule will have a tougher more upright type of foot.
