Wow! I could never play piano. That is an instrument that takes quite a lot of skill to perfect. I have no doubt you’ll perfect the clarinet as well! I’m happy to inspire:)

@@woodwindobsessed1532 That’s right. Bassoon is named after the bassoon, he’s dressed like a bassoon too. But because Bassoon is dressed like a bassoon, some people think he’s the bassoon and blows into him, not only is Bassoon not the bassoon, he doesn’t like that.

“Congratulations”, I’m your 18th sub mr, you deserve more subs than this heck I also have an instrument collection of my own, I now have over 7 woodwind instruments and about 8 brass instruments, in general such as the 5 main brass instruments plus a few doubles of my long time primary instrument the trombone witch was what I started on since the 5th grade and then 8 years later is when I graduated high school over 3 years ago and started my instrument collection in the fall plus I have a few percussion instruments as well witch are a part of the percussion kit involving A practice drum pad and glockenspiel with sticks mallets and a stand that go with it!. And ps nice collection so far keep up the good work my man. And on more thing, do you also plain on actual bass clarinet other than the contra alto? I’m just wondering that’s all thanks.
Just noticed your question! I have played on a bass clarinet before, but I have yet to add it to my own collection. So for now all I have is my contra alto.

This is good, I play brass instruments and have wanted to get some sort of instrument in the woodwind family a a little bit now so I might try to get one now
I also have an instrument collection, I have both an alto saxophone and a bass clarinet. I'll be receiving a bassoon this Christmas but I'm kind of nervous because it's something I've never tried before

As a band member that started in 5th (going into 9th) my biggest recommendation is to get yourself a tenor sax. Most jazz ensembles need or want tenor saxes so it would be nice if you had one for those scenarios. And apparently Bundy & Linton are the worst instrument brands so I’d try to avoid them as much as you could. I hope this helps a little bit because I’m growing mines too :D (Trumpet, Tuba, Tenor & Alto Sax, Kalimba, Cello, Piano atm)
I’ve actually been planning on expanding my saxophone collection! I tend to stick with Yamaha’s when it comes to saxophones, so I might purchase a Yamaha tenor next year! :D

The Contrabass Clarinet is the same size as Tommy Souden, like the Double Bass, they're both tall.

Funny you ask that! I actually just finished shooting for a big video last weekend. I’m going to start working on editing it this upcoming weekend. The new video should actually be released sometime this month! I’m hoping to get back to making videos a bit more frequently!
Wow!! I really want my own bassoon and oboe, currently I’m just using a school selmer oboe and a school artley bassoon.
Tomorrow I’ll do a count of how many instruments I have in my house.

I got mine off eBay! I highly recommend looking on there. Sometimes you can get some good deals.

WoodwindObsessed I wish I played the bassoon but no. In fact, I have a goal to learn the bassoon (that I had since January 2019) once I’m out of high school.

hey what barrel and bell do you use on your clarinet?
In this video I was using an off brand barrel and bell I found on eBay. But, I’m now using a Backun fatboy barrel, and a Backun bell with the voicing groove. Both in cocobolo wood. Would highly recommend any of Backun’s clarinet accessories!

Not passive aggressive at all! I’m actually working on getting more active!:) I’m waiting on some supplies to come in so I can finish up a new upcoming video! Do something on that contralto clarinet
It’ll be featured for sure when I do some orchestral piece covers! As well as a video i’ll be making about me overhauling it!:) It has a lot of work I need to do on it still.

You realise it's not contralto its contrabass
It actually IS a contra alto. A contra alto clarinet is the instrument between the bass clarinet and the contrabass clarinet.
It's a contra alto. However on some scores it is referred to as the Eb Contrabass.
