I do this same mixture as a pre poo for my frizzy dry hair. The only difference is that I use hibiscus hydrosol not tea, since I’m blonde. It makes detangling after shampoo so much easier and deep conditioning more effective 👍🏻👍🏻
This has definitely been adding moisture to my hair while in box braids. I used aloe Vera powder and lavender buds and so far so good. I see hair growth around my perimeter where i was losing hair due to food allergies and vitamin deficiencies. Taking cod liver oil daily also.
I wash sometimes once a month and spray my locs daily. So far so good. You can try spraying a couple times a week to start off to see how your hair responds. I hope this helps. Keep me updated 💕✨
I’m no chemist but from my understanding the structure of h2O changes because of the properties of the hibiscus. You’re basically reaping the benefits of the flower.

Can you drink this as a tea?
You sure can and it’s delicious. Perfect for when you come on your cycle too.
Is okay to use dried lavender buds? I really don’t feel like buying any oil😩
Yes ma'am. Any flower straight from the garden or dried and packaged.
can i use lavender instead of the hibiscus?
I do for my low porosity hair and it works very well.
absolutely! Ive used lavender water on my locs before and the results are amazing.

Are there any side effects if one uses hibiscus tea as hair spray for a month without washing the hair?

I have organic hibiscus tea, can I use that?
Yes ma’am, that’ll work great!
How long is it good for
About 2-3 weeks as long as its stored in a cool dry place.
How does tea moisturize my hair? It's still water, it's going to evaporate.

@@Dorasgard3n That may be sure, but tea does not carry the necessary molecular structure to seal. Think fatty like oil, ghee, butters ect.
you could think or it like LCO method where you use Liquids, Creams, then Oils. or how people use Rice Water, Rosemary water, Clove Water
