I would never have guessed Meghan is Błack. I’m not saying racīsm doesn’t exist, it does… but she looks Mediterranean. I have family with darker skín than she has and with błack hair. I feel Ike she is just riding the current trend of “víctímhood”, it’s like social currency today.

That's what it looked like to me, a scripted interview. All the emotions she showed and even cried was all an act and if it wasn't why then didn't try to console her?! Also opposite of how she was being set-up and didn't deserve the treatment of the past and the treatment they were receiving now in the US by both the US as well as from the Monarchy. I’m white and married an African American, 36 years strong,4 kids and 2 grandkids, when we were expecting our first child, we all spoke about the tone of the skin, the nose,ears hair etc, this is a common question for expectant mothers no matter what their color is, and why hasn’t Archie got any of her “black” side? By the way, all our kids have a beautiful somewhat darker skin than me, they are judged by their action alone, not by their skin color, she is being judged by her actions and now, her lies

Yeah, I was confused when their wedding had so many callbacks to people of color. I’m sure identity is hard when you’re mixed. However, it feels like she’s always pushing the narrative of being a black woman, and the experience of that. But she looks white. She chemically straightens her hair. She went to private school in LA, probably the only ‘racism’ she experienced was surprise when people met her mom, if that. Agreed. Megan is using the negative aspects of Diana's (RIP) life to get what she wants. However it has or will eventually blow up in her face. In contrast, Catherine has embraced the positive. Like joining William and Harry (pre-Megan) in continuing Diana's legacy in championing the causes/charities that meant so much to her. Also in the way that Catherine and William are raising their children with firm values of respect, kindness, compassion, loyalty, honesty and selflessness. As well as the importance of Duty to family, crown, country and commonwealth. The best part is that the public and media know this. Therefore, Catherine and William don't need to sit down for interviews. And every time they have, it's to shine the spotlight on those organizations or thanking various individuals who volunteer. When she talks about “The Little Mermaid”, I’m surprised Oprah didn’t laugh out loud. Meghan’s face in that bit shows signs of being delusional. I had such high hopes for H&M and the opportunities they had to modernize the monarchy. H&M are well into their adulthood, and I’m surprised by how they are portraying themselves as young and naive. Imagine if H&M worked through the adversity dutifully fulfilling their roles. The respect everyone would have for them would be profound.

The Interview was the turning point for me. She sat right there and lied over and over. You can see Harry try to say something when she said she had no training and no one helped her and she stopped him. The Queen gave her a personal Protocol assistant to follow her around everywhere and help her to know what to do, how to sit, when to speak, when not to etc. The woman even suspended her retirement to help on the Queen's request. The whole title thing...Archie is the Earl of Dumbarton so he DOES have a title. He would not get the title of Prince like George, Charlotte and Louis because Archie is not the son of an heir...he will get that title when Charles is King...Saying it was because of his race...no it is because of his position in the family. If Diana had had a 3rd child, their children would be Princes or Princesses either...only the first born's children. I think Harry will wake up and will divorce her. Per British law, the children would go to him I believe, so she will play the victim when all of that happens as well. I think she thought she would be just as popular as William and Kate...but when protocol stepped in and she realized she would not, she got mad and wanted everything to change. That is the oldest Monarchy with traditions and customs, it is not going to change just because some B grade actress from LA wants it to. She must bend to the Queen, not the other way around. Even though the Queen did bend for her. Inviting her Mom to the holiday etc.

But if Meghan has bewitched Prince Harry he might not speak negatively about her even when she will leave him. It’s a bit complicated but very clearly visible at the same time. I just found this channel and am enjoying it immensely. The narrator is articulate and well-spoken. The subject matter of H&M is well researched. The problem with Markle is her character. I am fortunate to not have met up with a narcissist and hope I never do. It seems they can ruin lives.
I have no idea how she could not have expected the British tabloid media to turn on her at some point. I'm an American who has never been to the UK but I know they're awful and do it to everyone. If anything it seems like they cut her a lot more slack than other people before they started in on her. I am Indian Australian. The example is harmless. This is not racism, this is opportunism by Megan. It was the interview that made me realize that she had Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Up until the interview I loved them. I, too, have a friend who is Indian and hated MeAgain. I distanced myself from my friend due to her intensity. Listening to MeAgain changed my opinion of her since I have been in Narcissistic relationships. The thing is with Meghan, she tries to make out that criticism of her behaviour is racism. In the Netherlands there is a female professor who states that ALL whites are racist BECAUSE they are white. That's the background for what Meghan says.
I’m darker than Megan and there was no way her son with his little drop of color was going to be even a little dark. My husbands cousin is half black and her husband so white he glows with blue eyes. They have little girls who are just adorable little blue eyed blondes and people think his cousin is the maid. She is half black but she’s referred to as a black woman and a lot darker than Megan. Exactly. Without context, we have no way of knowing how the conversation went but it was most likely innocent. We have to remember that there hasn't been anybody of color in the Royal Family so it was most likely curiosity as to what traits baby Archie would have, not out of hatred.

Yep. She’s smart. She absolutely knows what she’s doing. Another reason I believe she did the Oprah interview is to sway the American public in her favour, since she completely lost any love the British public initially had for her. I’ve noticed so many Americans in particular defending Meghan, calling her an “abuse survivor”, and a “strong black woman who survived racism”. This perpetuates the idea that Americans are just constantly seeing race in every aspect of life. Many Americans are so void of their own culture that they have to see anything and everything through the lense of labels, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality etc. Meghan is a woman of colour (according to some. To me, she’s white. She has white features and her skin complexion is tanned at best. She is mixed, but that isn’t enough to make her a black woman when she’s white passing), and for many Americans, those are immediate signs that they should trust her. Especially since she was pregnant when she did the interview with Oprah. Who wouldn’t trust someone who’s oppressed after the year we’ve had with the rise of BLM, right? As I said before, Meghan is smart. Whether the racism claim is true or not, she definitely delivered it at just the right time: she didn’t say it at the height of BLM’s popularity, so as it was dying down slowly, she decided to speak up against the racism then and there to keep the attention on her. That’s all it’s about. She is one of the most privileged people in the world, yet she actually managed to get the American public to support her because of the timing, delivery and execution of the interview. I’m almost too impressed to be angry, but it proved two things: the American public needs to sort themselves out, because they want to play the oppression olympics whenever they see someone of an oppressed group without doing any background research beforehand, *and* Markle is devious as they come. Some part of me feels sorry for Harry, since he probably had no idea what he was getting into when he started dating her. But alas, it is good that many people are starting to wake up to Meghan’s lies once and for all.
@Just a Teapot What makes people with this type of personality very scary is that they are extremely smart, know what they want, know how to get it, have excellent memory, and pick up on any weaknesses (kinetic, emotional, etc) in their target to use at a later date. Megan is taking things to a different level with wearing Diana's favorite perfume on their first date and wearing a similar dress to the one Wallis Simpson wore (with the added bonus of her dress looking like bird droppings while complaining how people were treating her). Harry went on national TV to advocate for mental health due to the trauma of losing his mother so young. He is also a Veteran, was very close to the community and advocated for mental health assistance there as well. It's doubtful that he would not advocate vocally for his wife being denied help if she felt suicidal. The racism aspect was addressed very early on in their relationship with a very rare publication from Buckingham Palace. You nailed with us Americans (all of us) needing to do a bit more research beforehand. I learned the hard way a long time ago that there are many sides to the store and the story that is told when emotions are high is probably not the entire story. I truly hope that they wake up everyday and are grateful for everything that they have. They live in a beautiful home, they have each other, and soon they will have two adorable and healthy children. That is a lot to be thankful and grateful for.

Also, Harry recently stated In a speech to JP Morgan that he has been in therapy for 7 years. I highly doubt Harry had access to these services, but his wife was denied help.
I think she did the interview for attention and to help build her career and money making abilities. The only popular thing in this day and time is racism. So that gets her attention that she needs to make money. I think it's all about money. They need a lot of money to support their lifestyle.
I think she wanted to be “the star” of the Royal Family. To be fair, she did have a lot of positive press when she and Harry announced their engagement. Once people started hearing stories about how she treated staff and possibly made a pregnant Catherine cry for bullying a three year old Charlotte, people turned on her. Instead of taking the criticism or ignoring it, she concocted this story about how she is a victim of racist in laws and hounding press so that she wouldn’t look bad running out on the duties she married into.
Meghan has never once shown an ounce of humility. Her sense of entitlement has always been front and centre so that's why I find her victim narrative so dubious. Not one graceful or gracious word to the family that took her in and gave her an extrodinary life of privilege. She still blames everyone for her failure. It boggles the mind.

However, she failed to mention that not only do titles alone not automatically garentree security and its the metropolitan police department who decides who receives publicly funded security details, but babies/children do not receive their own security detail since its shared with their parents. Since H&M had a security detail up until their exit, Archie was protected during that time. She also felt entitled to having the RF constantly defend her in the press even though she was well aware of their "dont complain and don't explain " policy. However, she again failed to mention that they defended her in the press on at least 8 different occasions..

I have to say, watching a few of these and recently getting out of a marriage to someone exactly like this, that it is spot on and refreshing to hear and see someone explain and show it in such a way. The suffocation, loneliness, degradation, manipulation is SO difficult to make people see or understand with how these kind of people present themselves. It's done in such a way that most times fighting back just helps them and their gimmick and making it worse for you. It's mind blowing at how well they stay masked and move so fluidly and naturally they go from one reason to the next on how good they are and how much everyone/everything holds them back or jumping emotions, excuses that turn the blame on you, slowly alienating you from everything you once were. It's maddening and pointing it out over and over again for some kind of help whether just talking or other, to people who don't understand gets you looking like a sad and bitter person looking for any excuse to hate them. Having a kid with one just like this, I will never be free of her... it isn't a cage. It's a weight that slowly but unendingly increases over time.

I remember reading about how she wore diamond earrings from a Saudi Prince even though she was recommended not to (Saudi Prince was not a good person apparently) - which made me think, maybe she is being paid to bring down the Monarchy from within?

Why does she want her children to have a title if she alienated her husband from the RF. This world already has too many princes and princesses who do nothing for a living.
Right now, Archie would be entitled to the title of prince once the Queen dies and Charles becomes King. Under the protocol, grandchildren of the Queen or King are automatically considerred princes and princesses but not great grandchildren William's first born may have been entitled to Prince as being a heir in line but Williams other two children were not. The Queen can make an exception and in their case granted them titles that she did not grant to Archie. Prince Charles has made indications, and this may be where the problem lies, that he may abolish that protocol of grandchildren of the monarch being automatically entitled to the title of prince or princess. The reasoning he gave for that is that he would rather have a smaller "royal family". I think that is rather a suspect thing to do especially if he was the one making the comment about the colour of Archie's skin and Archie would be the only one without that title.. Can no one understand how upsetting this would be? Meghan and Harry did not want a "title" for Archie, ie Lord or Duke but he has a birthright to a HRH that only he can decide whether he wants to give up as Harry does. This is what Charles wants to remove which prevents Harry and Meghan's children from ever becoming HRH's. This is the real issue here
Maybe watch the interview again and see what Harry says about why he didn't seek help for his wife when she so desperately needed it. I was shocked when he said that he was "too embarrassed" to bring it up with the family probably because he knew how his mother was treated when she sought help from them. "
I have thought all along that she was using Diana's experiences. Like her being so depressed while she was pregnant. Diana was also. The only thing missing is a eating disorder and she would have covered all the bases.

I'm from the UK, and I am not saying this simply to defend my country or the RF, but I doubt Meghan's claims, not least because they gave two different timelines for this alleged remark. These accusations only started when the Queen refused to allow them to be half-in and half-out of the RF. No claim whatsoever was ever made about depression - this is the first we've heard of it. The racism claim was quite short-lived, until the BLM movement became more prominent in the US. One of Meghan's press releases involved a friend saying that Meghan now realised why she had to return to the US: it was her destiny to fight racism. Which begs the question of why, if the UK is racist, her destiny didn't kick in when she was here. It's this switching on and off of accusations against the RF, the country and the people that I find suspicious because these appear to coincide with an attempt by Meghan to launch herself by attaching to a cause that is, or is gaining, national attention.

I am writing this on June 18, 2024 at 1:20am. I am 83yrs old and a Canadian monarchist grandma. I was startled to see you bring up Britain's relationship with your country of India. As a person of Irish English descent l know what that history means. When I think of the tiny UK as it's now known, l am astonished that they were able to traverse the planet so successfully. Basically they were looking to explore and to trade. It is difficult when strangers arrive on your shores. I like to think that the Brits took engaging with interest the cultures they encountered. As time went by they introduced education, education of girls and women, showing that people have value and shouldn't be locked in caste systems, women shouldn't have feet bound so they can't walk, and the progress of medicines and bearing babies in clean surroundings and how to clean water among other benefits. Certainly cultures have found it difficult to enter new ages. As a Canadian our Indigenous peoples have suffered and are finding their roots as many peoples from around the world choose to make Canada their home. As the ages were bound to move forward, l am proud that you and l now can share common interests. I am a staunch supporter of the Commonwealth of Nations. We should care for it with pride and recognize that the advancement of love and respect that it fosters should be paramount. I am a black woman. I am darker skinned than my beautiful "pecan-tanned" skinned husband. While pregnant, we wondered who our child would take after, even wondering whether she would have BIG feet like me, or smaller pretty feet, like my husband! IT IS COMMON to speculate on the tone of a child's skin, especially when the parents have markedly different skin tones just as it is common to speculate on eye color, height, etc. And Oprah! Oprah knows good and well we speculate on those things. Her long "WWWWHAT?" was so hypocritical. I had lots of respect for Oprah, for her accomplishments, her financial prowess, and her tenacity. After this interview, Oprah looked like someone who wanted to greedily cash in on these so-called ex-royals.

The Interview was the turning point for me. She sat right there and lied over and over. You can see Harry try to say something when she said she had no training and no one helped her and she stopped him. The Queen gave her a personal Protocol assistant to follow her around everywhere and help her to know what to do, how to sit, when to speak, when not to etc. The woman even suspended her retirement to help on the Queen's request. The whole title thing...Archie is the Earl of Dumbarton so he DOES have a title. He would not get the title of Prince like George, Charlotte and Louis because Archie is not the son of an heir...he will get that title when Charles is King...Saying it was because of his race...no it is because of his position in the family. If Diana had had a 3rd child, their children would be Princes or Princesses either...only the first born's children. I think Harry will wake up and will divorce her. Per British law, the children would go to him I believe, so she will play the victim when all of that happens as well. I think she thought she would be just as popular as William and Kate...but when protocol stepped in and she realized she would not, she got mad and wanted everything to change. That is the oldest Monarchy with traditions and customs, it is not going to change just because some B grade actress from LA wants it to. She must bend to the Queen, not the other way around. Another reason I believe she did the Oprah interview is to sway the American public in her favour, since she completely lost any love the British public initially had for her. I’ve noticed so many Americans in particular defending Meghan, calling her an “abuse survivor”, and a “strong black woman who survived racism”. This perpetuates the idea that Americans are just constantly seeing race in every aspect of life. Many Americans are so void of their own culture that they have to see anything and everything through the lense of labels, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality etc.
Meghan is a woman of colour (according to some. To me, she’s white. She has white features and her skin complexion is tanned at best. She is mixed, but that isn’t enough to make her a black woman when she’s white passing), and for many Americans, those are immediate signs that they should trust her. Especially since she was pregnant when she did the interview with Oprah. Who wouldn’t trust someone who’s oppressed after the year we’ve had with the rise of BLM, right? As I said before, Meghan is smart. Whether the racism claim is true or not, she definitely delivered it at just the right time: she didn’t say it at the height of BLM’s popularity, so as it was dying down slowly, she decided to speak up against the racism then and there to keep the attention on her. That’s all it’s about. She is one of the most privileged people in the world, yet she actually managed to get the American public to support her because of the timing, delivery and execution of the interview. I’m almost too impressed to be angry, but it proved two things: the American public needs to sort themselves out, because they want to play the oppression olympics whenever they see someone of an oppressed group without doing any background research beforehand, *and* Markle is devious as they come. Some part of me feels sorry for Harry, since he probably had no idea what he was getting into when he started dating her. But alas, it is good that many people are starting to wake up to Meghan’s lies once and for all.

@Just a Teapot What makes people with this type of personality very scary is that they are extremely smart, know what they want, know how to get it, have excellent memory, and pick up on any weaknesses (kinetic, emotional, etc) in their target to use at a later date. Megan is taking things to a different level with wearing Diana's favorite perfume on their first date and wearing a similar dress to the one Wallis Simpson wore (with the added bonus of her dress looking like bird droppings while complaining how people were treating her). Harry went on national TV to advocate for mental health due to the trauma of losing his mother so young. He is also a Veteran, was very close to the community and advocated for mental health assistance there as well. It's doubtful that he would not advocate vocally for his wife being denied help if she felt suicidal.
The racism aspect was addressed very early on in their relationship with a very rare publication from Buckingham Palace. You nailed with us Americans (all of us) needing to do a bit more research beforehand. I learned the hard way a long time ago that there are many sides to the store and the story that is told when emotions are high is probably not the entire story.
I truly hope that they wake up everyday and are grateful for everything that they have. They live in a beautiful home, they have each other, and soon they will have two adorable and healthy children. That is a lot to be thankful and grateful for.

I think she did the interview for attention and to help build her career and money making abilities. The only popular thing in this day and time is racism. So that gets her attention that she needs to make money. I think it's all about money. They need a lot of money to support their lifestyle.
I think she wanted to be “the star” of the Royal Family. To be fair, she did have a lot of positive press when she and Harry announced their engagement. Once people started hearing stories about how she treated staff and possibly made a pregnant Catherine cry for bullying a three year old Charlotte, people turned on her. Instead of taking the criticism or ignoring it, she concocted this story about how she is a victim of racist in laws and hounding press so that she wouldn’t look bad running out on the duties she married into.
Meghan has never once shown an ounce of humility. Her sense of entitlement has always been front and centre so that's why I find her victim narrative so dubious. Not one graceful or gracious word to the family that took her in and gave her an extrodinary life of privilege. She still blames everyone for her failure. It boggles the mind.

However, she failed to mention that not only do titles alone not automatically garentree security and its the metropolitan police department who decides who receives publicly funded security details, but babies/children do not receive their own security detail since its shared with their parents.
Since H&M had a security detail up until their exit, Archie was protected during that time.
She also felt entitled to having the RF constantly defend her in the press even though she was well aware of their "dont complain and don't explain " policy.
However, she again failed to mention that they defended her in the press on at least 8 different occasions..

I have to say, watching a few of these and recently getting out of a marriage to someone exactly like this, that it is spot on and refreshing to hear and see someone explain and show it in such a way. The suffocation, loneliness, degradation, manipulation is SO difficult to make people see or understand with how these kind of people present themselves. It's done in such a way that most times fighting back just helps them and their gimmick and making it worse for you. It's mind blowing at how well they stay masked and move so fluidly and naturally they go from one reason to the next on how good they are and how much everyone/everything holds them back or jumping emotions, excuses that turn the blame on you, slowly alienating you from everything you once were. It's maddening and pointing it out over and over again for some kind of help whether just talking or other, to people who don't understand gets you looking like a sad and bitter person looking for any excuse to hate them. Having a kid with one just like this, I will never be free of her... it isn't a cage. It's a weight that slowly but unendingly increases over time.

Also a woman close to the Royal family said that the suggestion that Meghan was denied mental health help due to the attention it may bring was also questionable due to the fact that Prince Harry, Prince Charles and at the suggestion of Charles, Diana were all seeing mental health experts. Also Harry had a link to a mental health org so there would have been no real issue in getting her help if she really needed it. I remember reading about how she wore diamond earrings from a Saudi Prince even though she was recommended not to (Saudi Prince was not a good person apparently) - which made me think, maybe she is being paid to bring down the Monarchy from within?

Right now, Archie would be entitled to the title of prince once the Queen dies and Charles becomes King. Under the protocol, grandchildren of the Queen or King are automatically considerred princes and princesses but not great grandchildren William's first born may have been entitled to Prince as being a heir in line but Williams other two children were not. The Queen can make an exception and in their case granted them titles that she did not grant to Archie. Prince Charles has made indications, and this may be where the problem lies, that he may abolish that protocol of grandchildren of the monarch being automatically entitled to the title of prince or princess. The reasoning he gave for that is that he would rather have a smaller "royal family". I think that is rather a suspect thing to do especially if he was the one making the comment about the colour of Archie's skin and Archie would be the only one without that title.. Can no one understand how upsetting this would be? Meghan and Harry did not want a "title" for Archie, ie Lord or Duke but he has a birthright to a HRH that only he can decide whether he wants to give up as Harry does. This is what Charles wants to remove which prevents Harry and Meghan's children from ever becoming HRH's. This is the real issue here
Maybe watch the interview again and see what Harry says about why he didn't seek help for his wife when she so desperately needed it. I was shocked when he said that he was "too embarrassed" to bring it up with the family probably because he knew how his mother was treated when she sought help from them. "

I'm from the UK, and I am not saying this simply to defend my country or the RF, but I doubt Meghan's claims, not least because they gave two different timelines for this alleged remark. These accusations only started when the Queen refused to allow them to be half-in and half-out of the RF. No claim whatsoever was ever made about depression - this is the first we've heard of it. The racism claim was quite short-lived, until the BLM movement became more prominent in the US. One of Meghan's press releases involved a friend saying that Meghan now realised why she had to return to the US: it was her destiny to fight racism. Which begs the question of why, if the UK is racist, her destiny didn't kick in when she was here. It's this switching on and off of accusations against the RF, the country and the people that I find suspicious because these appear to coincide with an attempt by Meghan to launch herself by attaching to a cause that is, or is gaining, national attention.

I am writing this on June 18, 2024 at 1:20am. I am 83yrs old and a Canadian monarchist grandma. I was startled to see you bring up Britain's relationship with your country of India. As a person of Irish English descent l know what that history means. When I think of the tiny UK as it's now known, l am astonished that they were able to traverse the planet so successfully. Basically they were looking to explore and to trade. It is difficult when strangers arrive on your shores. I like to think that the Brits took engaging with interest the cultures they encountered. As time went by they introduced education, education of girls and women, showing that people have value and shouldn't be locked in caste systems, women shouldn't
have feet bound so they can't walk, and the progress of medicines and bearing babies in clean surroundings and how to clean water among other benefits. Certainly cultures have found it difficult to enter new ages. As a Canadian our Indigenous peoples have suffered and are finding their roots as many peoples from around the world choose to make Canada their home. As the ages were bound to move forward, l am proud that you and l now can share common interests. I am a staunch supporter of the Commonwealth of Nations. We should care for it with pride and recognize that the advancement of love and respect that it fosters should be paramount.

IT IS COMMON to speculate on the tone of a child's skin, especially when the parents have markedly different skin tones just as it is common to speculate on eye color, height, etc. And Oprah! Oprah knows good and well we speculate on those things. Her long "WWWWHAT?" was so hypocritical. I had lots of respect for Oprah, for her accomplishments, her financial prowess, and her tenacity. After this interview, Oprah looked like someone who wanted to greedily cash in on these so-called ex-royals.
