If I had a daughter this is the last woman I would want my daughter to look up to as a role model yes she talks the talk but let’s take a look at her life. She talks about women’s independence and rights in this world. Isn’t being a feminist about having the right to make your own choices in life? A housewife can be a feminist just as much as a business woman. She has always been an advocate for women being valued as much as men. Yes she left her job, moved to London and married Harry. How many women have moved for their husband? How many have changed their job to do something that THEY want to do? She as a young girl spoke on women being treated as equals. She as a teenager worked at homeless shelters and soup kitchens. She as an adult helped to set up programs to donate food to the needy. She helped to build wells in Africa to prevent girls from missing school. She spoke in India to try and change the unfair treatment women receive for their menstrual cycle. Being a feminist means that she has the right to choose her path. No one else has the right to make that choice for her. She is blessed to marry the man that she loves and on top of that be able to have a greater impact than she did before. Prince Harry and Meghan will be able to reach a broader audience. To me that is something to admire instead of critique.

I pray for their marriage. I think that Harry has underestimated the amount of hate that will be leveled against them both because of his choosing to marry a bi-racial woman. Men generally want to protect the woman that they love from harm but he has never had to deal with overt and covert racists all around the world and in his own family who can’t seem to keep their hatred in check. It comes out in the forms of unjust criticism, ignorant rants, comparisons to other members of the family, racists yelling in crowds etc.

Originally the Marriage Act 1836 stated a member of the Royal Family cannot have a legitimate marriage “unless conducted by Anglican clergy”. Next along came Lord Falconer who publicly said the 1949 Act was repealed by the Registration Act 1953, however, Lord Falconer was having a brain-storm because in-fact it only repealed certain parts of the 1949 Act leaving Section 79(5) intact........... Therefore, the original 1836 law, which states a member of the Royal Family cannot have a legitimate marriage “unless conducted by Anglican clergy” is still legally valid..........Consequently, Camilla cannot be queen because she is NOT legally married to Charles.
