- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in elden ring can survive a trio of frenzied characters.
To run this test I chose the 3 characters that have the closest relation to the flame of frenzy and gave them each 5k hp to fight against the strongest bosses in the game and take over the world.
The characters chosen are Yura, hunter of bloody fingers, Festering fingerprint Vyke and Finger maiden Hyetta.

Shabriri and Hyetta literally going "Nah I don't need to be here" and casually walking away while Vyke sprints straight at Radahn like a freak is unreal. And then the fact that he actually not only tanks the meteor but wins 1v1

Fun fact: you can use inescapable frenzy on Gideon, while he's giving his speech. Just walk up and grab the fucker.

Man, I know Vyke is strong but him soloing Radahn and even tanking the meteor was just insane. Edit: It just ocurred to me, that's very on point. It's insane.
player like npcs are interesting, because while they are susceptible to certain attacks other bosses are immune to because they werent designed for those interactions (grabs, status, etc.) It also means they are immune to the exact opposite. Attacks like radhans meteor hit bosses multiple times over because the interaction wasnt designed to work properly in cases that wouldn't take place in the game. Which is why no boss can survive it, but vyke for example can. most op insta shots in this channel are similar. Its why gideon is such a wildcard sometimes

My surprise was him actually surviving it in the first place. Specially considering he was 50% health or less.

He was the only tarnished other than us that held more than one great rune and got to the throne closer than anyone other than us

Shabriri as well lmfao. Must be that hefty helmet that's covering his eyesight and doesn't let him see clearly. That's why his aim is so chaotic too😂.
The AI most likely takes into account the enemy runs at her and she only has a punch at melee so she cast when they are out of range but well, no, they dont always run at her.
She tends to use the wrong abilities at the wrong time. Such as using the grab attack when enemies are like 10 feet away.
Can any boss survive the troll trio?

There's also flame troll from Caelid and the mountaintops trolls with the white hair

He stands on top of the gatehouse at redmane castle and jumps down on you when you get close. He has a burning sword and I think some kind of fire projectile attack.

For those wondering why vyke incant deals little damage, it seems to be because he is using some simithing stone seal. A dex faith build like him would benefit more from frenzy flame seal

Dude, Vyke’s character is super underrated and he doesn’t get the actual respect and attention he deserves in game. He’s even on the cover art for God’s sake, yet those who don’t deep dive into the lore will most likely not know about his story. That actually makes me mad.
(Case in point, him soloing Radahn)
And Kale’s quest shouldn’t have been cut. It actually makes the Frenzied Flame ending, the “Bad Ending”, morally grey and gives the player more incentive to choose that ending other than just “save Melina”, and you only talk to her about ten times in the game.

its not the bad ending, thats DungEater, its the S T Y L E ending. The only ending with drip. The yellow flames are cool af and who doenst like getting a sun for a head?
Gold Mask ending is the next coolest, but just wish it had a custom animation like Ranni and Frenzy do.
And then Ranni ending is the simp ending, which is why so many maidenless gamers pick it.

It's funny how Astel was killed by a warrior's shout. It has Skyrim's vibes.
Even though we killed him but still I really want to see more of Vyke in the next dlc
I didn't notice before but the Malenia Wiggle actually moves her hitboxes, which I think helped her out here.
It also maakes her miss attacks she normally wouldn't 😅
So it's kind of functional and funny

Coincidentally, they were all mostly taken down by bosses that use different types of fire. The GSD used Black Flame, Placidusax used golden dragonfire, Fire Giant used Giantsflame, and Mohg used Bloodflame.
Essentially marking the Frenzied Flame the least superior to all other flame types.
(Gameplay wise of course.)
To be fair, we never encounter a true Frenzy boss in the game to compare fairly.

Nice thematic point, but the Giant has 50 fire resist and Mohg has 80. Even the Apostles have 40 fire resist. Plus all of those enemies are late game and have a lot of health. Placidusax isn't particularly resistant to fire, but dragons are a hard fight for most NPCs. It was pretty much a set of guaranteed losses. I was impressed they almost took out the Duo.
They all have high fire resist, I'm pretty sure that's why

Daddy Loux shoe size was a blessing for Marika when he was her consort but a curse for himself on this fight as the tip of his toe got frenzied to death. That was so unexpected. He was just about to earthquake her to death.

Just wanted to let you know that I've never played ER but really enjoy your videos :D
Thanks bjorn. This is what ive been asking for. I know nameless ring already did it but in that video he has the bosses susceptible to madness, which is obviously wrong. Here we can see the true power of frenzy flame even without madness, pure damage alone, which is actually great. Sad that malenia still wins, because unendurable frenzy is to her what comet azur is to mohg.

We need a mod that let's you summon certain NPCs to solo bosses. The ultimate "Let me Solo them"
You should do a bracket style face off of all the main bosses but at ng+7 scaling

The deathrite bird that gives the explosive ghost flame spell is a freaking menace, I had to recruit my friend and told him bring all his holy weapons! Cuz that thing was a demon

@@kingnaga619 Oh lol yeah we had some trouble with that one as well during our co-op run, considering I just summoned him and then I realized the merchant wasn't there, then we saw that thing slow walking towards us, shit was scary no lie we were confused wondering WTF is that and where it came from! hits like a truck!

this looks like a new final fantasy game seeing 3 of them fight the bosses of elden rings, we got a healer, tank, and dps
For those wondering, NPCs cannot inflict madness on themselves, meaning they can spam their Frenzy incantations however many times they like without stunning and draining their own(non-existent) FP bar
It's kinda like how Gideon and other mage NPCs will never drink a single blue flask, because they don't have FP. In theory, Gideon could solo any boss in the game if he just spammed Comet endlessly, because he'll never run out of FP
So naturally, when an NPC uses the Frenzy incantations, they become busted as all living hell, because Frenzy incantations are balanced around the fact that spamming them too much will HURT yourself, which is something the NPCs aren't affected by.

I wish their programming for using their ranged/AOE attacks were better. They used that attack when they were too far away like 40-60% of the time.

How unusual to see damage on Radagon and Elden's beast. I used Malekith's deathblade against them.
And it seems that this weapon should be the most effective against the gods in the plot, but in fact this weapon mainly has holy damage, and the last bosses have high resistance to holy damage.
In addition, I thought that with each blow I would inflict burning, but it turned out only with the weapon skill

That arm thing makes her miss half her attacks. Crazy how the damage is actually based on the blade contact and how old games used to do it. But how do you fix her arms from doing that.

like you have several fire giants fighting an army comprised with Godfrey, Radagon (cos we dont have Marika), crucibles, fire monks, zamors, briars, and several golems/trolls for good measure
