It’s crazy how clueless the devs are about what needs buffing on this moveset, damage is NOT what it needed
Did needs its ending animation sped up, (and should always go max range)
And earthquake needs to be faster, unstoppable, or at least work while moving
But more damage means you kill the enemy faster! (Timi dev or something )
I I feel like if you just cut the cooldown to like 6.5 for earthquake and 5-5.5 for dig it’d be legit

Cuz my ass has 1200 chomp games at a 60% win rate so ik a thing or two bout how chomp works😂😂earthquake gettin cancelled so easily is prob the worst thing bout the moveset. N the damage was p subpar before the buff, especially w how long the cooldowns are compared to dragon build. N dragon build has amazing CC, so ground build gotta do somethin better.
@@guccisgooch9661 You clearly do not understand how ground garchomp works. A cooldown buff would NOT make that moveset as viable as the dragon one. Earthquake is simply a terribly designed ability, its damage increase did barely anything, more earthquakes does not help garchomp when the move actively hinders himself and his damage is from basic attacks primarily. Earthquake needs to either be able to be used while moving like tsareenas stomp, or just simply be unstoppable so it can actually be consistent at least. But being able to be used while moving stops people simply walking away so easily, and lets you hit people closer to the centre much more consistently. Earthquake is never for the damage, it’s the slow to keep people in your basic attacks and instantly fill your boosted attack gauge.
Dig is not that bad in its own but it’s still too slow of an ending animation that you stun yourself nearly as long as the enemy so it barely benefits you to even stun people alone. Dig needs to be sped up at the end. An actual good buff would be to make it ALWAYS go max range, not stop when hitting someone. That way you can actually go into the middle of a group and stun multiple enemies, not just the first one hit, it would also be a better escape move with more uses in general.
The 2 moves should also simply combo together like the dragon moves, using earthquake while underground should make it come out instantly as you come out of the ground, without needing to to the whole jump and slam, that change alone would be enough to make it good without any of my previous ideas.

A build I enjoy with Groundchomp is Drain Crown, Weakness Policy, Muscle Band, 6 brown 6 white 6 blue, full heal.
Would've definitely binned scope lens for cursed bangle. The AoE of EQ in the ray fight and just shutting healing down is one of the best things I've ever had by the 2 minute mark pre patch. Can only imagine now
Earthquake is NOT good aoe lmao. You cannot get rid of scope lens either, muscle band is whats bad on garchomp
Bangle is bad in randoms. You should only ever consider it in draft matches

Garchomps boosted attacks all have 10% remaining health damage already, stacking muscle band with that massively reduces muscle bands value, and after testing in practice, it took exactly the same amount of hits to kill a snorlax lv15 with or without muscle band, it adds so little damage it didn’t even kill 1 hit faster.

They should make earthquake pull enemies tog
Make it pull, or increase AoE, or increase slow amount and duration. Anything actually helpful.
Would be fun if they make it combo like its dragon moves.
Like while digging it leaves aftershocks or after its dig it creates earthquakes instantly, would atleast help it get max boosted auto stacks faster.

I don't feel any change since I use a completely different build to simply stay tanky and out heal whoever i'm fighting with a stupid amount of lifesteal.
Resonant Guard, Focus band, and Drain Crown. Literally out trades Mewtwo X and Zacian before all these nerfs.
I hope Dig should let Gar move around (like Fly but slower and cannot go through objects) and EQ use when Dig will create shockwave. This will help him become more mobile.
I think DragonQuake is really good. Dig is still terrible unless they reduce the cooldown, but the dragon rush combo (especially now with its super low cooldown) looks really good

Cris with this build either full heal or safeguard blissey to stun immune you and helping hand to increase u r auto atk speed and auto atk damage on helping hand plus. Thats the way makes earthquake unstoppable with blissey safeguard without getting cancel

I played more Ground than Dragon skills on Garchomp. I always destroyed enemies with this build, it's pretty strong
They still didn’t fix the issue with this build, the chain eq with dig and just eq being unstoppable. Oh yeah change digs animation! It’s the moves itself that need change not damage increase or cooldown decrease
I was farming once and a Gible came up to me to kick sand in my face, then left, very disrespecfully
Earthquake/dig is now actually playable not as good as dragon rush/dragon claw
But still solid
These buffs make truly no difference to this moveset and to make it even more of a joke they buffed the other moveset too

I tried ground Garchomp a few times. Never hated it. I’m eggar to give it a shot. Mix things up.
Maybe they should just reduce ground garchomp cooldowns and let you control where you exit on dig.
I love ground Garchomp getting a buff, but I am disappointed since all they do is just increase the damage which on dig is completely pointless as buff submission for last patch. They still don't fix the issue of ground

Dragonchomp is still stronger, but at least Groundchomp is decent now, so that makes Garchomp a VERY dangerous adversary and an equally powerful ally.

How do u get that garchomp white holowear I only have the brown one?
It was available in the dragon event that ended last week there was missions you could do to earn points if you earned 8000 points you were given a holowear box and this white holowear was one of the items available in that box but i think you can still get this skin by using aeos gems
I actually dealt 101K damage with this build. I still think it has problems but it’s usable.

I say dura and garchomp. Bcoz u didn't played with garchomp before I guess cause u dont have license better go for duraludon. Coz both are auto attackers. Atleast u have frontline support u can play duraludon
Neither tbvh. The buffs are good from what it seems but they definitely aren't meta defining. So pick something else.
Or if you still want to choose between these 3 then choose chomp if you like brawly pokemon, dura for a reliable attacker if played well can win you games or absol if you like to chain up kos.
