In my opinion, Haval H6 HEV is better value to money as compared to santa fe. But with same logic, Chery tiggo 8 pro is even better value to money as compared to H6 HEV. Being Hybrid, it costs 2 million more. Surely, you can't save 2 million worth of fuel so it's like paying for the fuel upfront. Apart from that, Cherry has bigger engine, memory seats with memory side mirrors, 7 seater with extra AC for third row, reclining centre seats, cool box, ADAS features, spare wheel, concealed engine, hydraulic bonnet, etc. Plus it also has equally good screens(infotainment + main + extra AUDI style screen for AC control) and voice control to command almost all features of car. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference for looks and overall feel of the car.
In China you will find such car brands in every second street These are very this and that from upfront but in the end made in China will tell you the reality check Also all the controls in display is not good specially in Chinese cars where display lags alot just look to MG display

I own Hyundai Brand Sonata too. & I can clearly say the build quality of haval is not in any way looks inferior compared to the Sonata or Santa fe. Yes its always a brand importance but we have seen how Honda failed to deliver civic badly. So if we really compare santa fe vs haval. Haval is more value for money car for consumers.
My colleague have alsvin 45k driven. very reliable car. driven to hunza as well. proven more reliable than his civic x which had 4 warranty claims in first 2 years. So reliability depends. Sonata has limping issue, tyre issues. So it depends again.

Santa fe is a globally renowned SUV and competes in the proper 7 seater segment. Haval is a smaller vehicle which is essentially a 5 seater..also Haval HEV is a front wheel drive only which seriously lacks traction under hard acceleration.. Interior of Haval looks more modern and it has some more features like ADAS and self parking which santa fe does not offer..
My point is that Santa fee should have Adas features. That's all I am not going to spend 15 million on a car which is not offering adas features. This is the primary feature. All other options are secondary.
Adas is not a deal breaker. Other consideration is brand value, Hyundai is tried and tested. I would always prefer Samsung and Lg rather than Haeir. Personally I don’t like Haval interior because I like physical knobs to control car rather than touchscreen which is difficult to manage while driving especially in city.

The Santa Fe Hybrid is much much better than the Chinese Haval H6 Hybrid. The Hav isn't a 7 seater whereas the Santa is. The quality of the Haval is nowhere near the quality of the world renowned Hyundai. Secondly, the Santa is AWD whereas the Haval Hybrid is not. Haval is rubbish compared to the Santa Fe.
In my assessment, Santa FE AWD is only thing that is better than H6 hev otherwise, H6 is better with superior torque & hp figures. Since one of reasons to buy hybrid is to get better millage & on-paper, senta FE numbers r very low compared to H6

You should go and see MG HS how shit it is; full of malfunctions and errors. And talking about features Santa FE has everything with partial ADAS (BSM, 360 cams, RCTA) the things missing are lane assist and adaptive cruise which in my opinion are not practical plus Santa Fe has 7 seats, full time multi terrain AWD system, Harmon kardon system which is mind blowing. And Santa Fe is build like a tank. Look at the materials used and its suspension and drive will be poles apart from Chinese toy.
