hey jeff, some tips about the heart rhythm problem you have, try eating raw garlic every day like 5 to 6 cloves with any of your meals, my dad had the same problem and he have been eating raw garlic for the part 3 months and he is of off his medication fully and his heart rate is now in the 60s yet before it was like 96bpm when fully rested, maybe garlic will help you aswell, beside the funky smell and aftertaste you willl be fine im sure

That happens to me too and i also depend on B-blockers. But i learned to massage my veins on the neck when i'm out of medication. It helps a lot. You should talk to your doctor about that technique... It's not really safe to do it when you don't know how. Many people who suffered from anxiety have the racing heart problem, and even if you're not anxious the problem will stay in the future. Gladly, it's just more anoying than dangerous.

Hi, Mary, yes, my heart beats faster after I've eaten, even when I take my meds, but I thinks it's normal for your heart to beat faster after you've eaten.
I find milk chocolate to not snap the same way that dark chocolate does. Also, I'm on beta blockers, too. I had to go on them at 18 cause I was partying a bit too hard and caused some heart problems. I'm on propranolol. They all seem to end in "olol" or "opril". Thats scary you had to go without them that long. I get so sick without them. I start feeling really shaky and twitchy all over and sweating and my heart starts hurting so bad. I have to be really careful with caffeine even on the beta blockers. God thats scary you didn't have them. When I'm like that I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack. I've had to go to the hospital so many times over the years. My left side starts going numb and my arm will start getting stabbing pains all through it my face will feel numb and I'll get awful headaches. It's terrifying. Thank god for modern medicine.
