  • Hey, everyone.
I've been looking for an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of certain components inside PC's. One component(s) in particular would be the VRMs of the GTX 980 Ti. The AMD R9 290 had temperature readouts in GPU-Z but the 980 Ti does not.
Overall this is a good thermometer and provides pretty accurate readings when tested. There's a good grip throughout the body. The display is large and clear. The buttons on the panel are easy to use. Definitely a good tool to add to your tech arsenal.
Disclosure: The Etekcity Lasergrip 1022D Dual Laser Non-contact Digital Infrared Thermometer was provided by Etekcity at no cost for review. They have not reviewed my review prior to posting. There is no sponsorship from Etekcity and there is no financial relationship with the company.
