We love Imelda's also. Everything is good. This last trip we had the chicken stuffed Chile relleno and the cochinita pibil for dinner, but we usually go for breakfast.

Enjoyed the video! All our favorite places. We didn't make it to La Lunita this last trip though. Lucy's ice cream is so good. You definitely need to try it next time. Salted Caramel and dark chocolate habanero are our favorites! Jim also tried that bacon wrapped burrito and loved it! Best value for the money I think is La Cueva del Pescador. Can't beat that pitcher of margs and the fish dishes are the best! We meet the best people there also. Just like meeting you both there! Now I can follow along all your travels.

Don’t sleep on Imelda’s and also Que Onda. Que Onda is across the street from Half Moon Bay, and despite the lack of a view, we much prefer it to La Buena Vida (also on Half Moon Bay) because of its very affordable prices and delicious food. Somehow food just tastes better when you aren’t being ripped off!

TBH, that was on our list because we had a day right there for snorkeling (video to come), but several locals told us that is a tourist restaurant that is expensive for what you get compared to the restaurants across the street. We put a lot of stock in what locals say, particularly in Mexico and Italy

It’s only a tourist restaurant because it’s at a resort. It’s far, far better than La Buena Vida (talk about an expensive tourist trap!). Next time, have a cappuccino or latte on Lol Ha’s porch while listening to Brazilian music and taking in the view…heaven!
