I liked your composition plan. How Christina, the outfitter, looked after the kennel then the trip with you and Tory, your research and history narration. Great videos with the drones.
Wow. Great to see these dogs having as much fun as you. (You must have had some moments when Buck was pulling at your heart along the way!). Really enjoyed the narration and scenic video of this adventure. Keep up the good work!
My favourite part was the dogs doing what they are meant to do ... and of course, you enjoying the experience! Thanks as always for taking me along on your adventures
@@JimBairdAdventurer The same to you my friend for putting so much of your personal experiences out there on full display. Wonderful to be able to find things outside my own environment that pulls on that adventure string I carry.
well done video. I especially liked this one since it shows the sled dogs. I have 11 dogs. I do a few races but mostly wilderness camping trips. One of my puppies watched the video with me. Sitting on my lap and talking to the dogs in the video.
Awesome trip and what a great experience for both of you . We miss Buck along with you . It would be nice if you could find another great dog like him .You and Tori must have had a great time on your trip and stay in the north . Stay well and stay safe 💖
So much fun catching up on all your adventures,i literally stopped watching regular tv,your channel is top for me,and i admire what you guys do for your son, like you would say,its ''epic''👏
OMG this is bringing back so many good memories!!! My husband and I used to go sledding every weekend for many years. I tried running 6 dogs but felt more comfortable running 4. My husband run 8 dogs once but he mostly ran 6.
"If you're not lead dog; the view seldom changes." :) This still looks, sounds and probably smells (due to the doggy farts that waft back!) much like I remember so glad you guys got to experience this. Thanks for sharing this as it brings back some great memories.
Great to see you and your family enjoying the outdoors as you do. Hard to say what the favorite part is, great job of mixing the drone shots with everything else. Very educational as well. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos.
Haha it's so wild seeing you experience life here in the Yukon, especially with an activity so near and dear to me. And funny seeing my friends in your video, Jocelyn is awesome and a pro with dogs! Had to laugh at "I bubble in the sun" 😂Thx for sharing!
Nice, ya she’s great. Definitely the sun can get you out there at that time of year! I’ve travelled a lot with dogs in winter including in the Arctic but this was my first time with my own team like this. It’s awesome, better than expected.

JIMBO STARTING ON OUT I was HOWLING WITH THE DOGS ALSO That was awesome great to see the PUPS done this before up north in Canada it was FUN !!! Saw a pup that I would love to have he makes me think of the pup that wouldn't let my husband sleep with me at the CABIN HE AND I WERE LIKE TWO PEAS IN A POD!!!
Awesome teamwork that you always don't get with other animals and human beings.. Amen.. Blessings from over the pond in Cape Town, South Africa.. Enjoyed this video.. Cheers.. 🇿🇦
I'm just glad to be alive almost died on trail last week way out in the bush got swarmed by yellow jackets went into anaphylactic shock 5 miles from my car and a 10 mile drive out to meet an ambulance... Never had a reaction before but my bo was 61/43 when I got help and was so swollen cheers to being above ground!!!
That was awesome Jim, out in the winter wilderness with the dogs. What a place to lice and work. Watching your videos sure makes me wanna visit Canada and the Yukon. Take it easy, keep up the hard work, best wishes from Derbyshire, England 🏴
I am surprised that she didn't instruct you on how to make your turns. It's like riding a motorcycle....when the dogs are turning right, you lean to your left. We had a friend of ours take out 4 of our dogs but he forgot this and ended up flipping over, but he flipped the sled upright and the next time a turn came up, he remembered. The look of happiness and satisfaction was a joy to us both.
I owned two Hybrids wolves, “Duke”was half German Shepherd & Minnesota Timber wolf, aka (Gray wolf)(125lbs.)also black mouth, and “Baby”, Siberian Husky, & Arctic wolf (165lbs.)Pure white, black mouth. Beautiful animals, I never heard either of them bark like a domestic dog. They were fond of digging their cave under my giant white pine in my backyard. This is where both lived and breathed, especially during winter weather. -ML&Aloha Your Boy Kekoa&Ohana.🤙🏾🤎🌲🐺🐺🌲
What a great video! That's the closest I'll ever get to experiencing riding on a sled w dogs so thank you! All the info you provided was amazing. And Tori and Wesley.... What can I say? Their just the best. Safe travels my friend!

So awesome man... this has been a dream of mine for a long time to get to mush a team of sled dogs. Maybe one day. Meanwhile it's great being able to watch you doing it...looks like you had a blast.
Good job on the filming Jim, and keeping the camera from getting knocked off by tree branches on a few what looked like close calls and excellent drone shots. A lot of work to feed all the dogs in the kennels, as you went by the kennels you could see and hear the envy the dogs not pulling but still on the kennel chains.
Thanks for supplying the video. It was great as usual, although it was a long time coming. Hoping it was because you were busy filming another adventure in the outback with no upload available.. My favorite part was listening to all the dogs barking in anticipation as you hooked up the sleds then when you left and they were not going they all started crying.. It was so moving..
