Why The Best Candidates Lose? | Pakistani Voters in Elections 2024 | Syed Muzammil Official

  • Just like the previous elections in Pakistan, the candidates who represent progressive parties and agendas and the candidates who hail from the parties of the left wing or from the nationalist backgrounds, lost all over the country. As the country demands the government of their choice, basing it on the number of seats won by PTI, the debate whether the nation has voted rationally is hardly seen on the mainstream.
This video is a criticism on the general trends in voting in Pakistan over the years and the reasons people find important in choosing their respective candidates. The video explains through philosophical perspective as to why an examined and rational thinking is required to solidify democracy in a country. History has proven that nations who vote on the basis of sheer emotion land themselves in trouble they cannot recover from.

*Muzammil's perspective seems to be mired in confusion and negativity, as usual. While advocating for democracy in Pakistan, he seems to desire it only if it aligns with his preferences. However, democracy necessitates respecting the will of the people, even if he deems them 'stupid'. His arrogance is striking; one cannot cherry-pick elements of democracy. Muzammil overlooks the intricacies of human psychology; people's behaviors often stem from ingrained biological factors such as cognitive biases, social influences, and evolutionary instincts, which shape their decision-making processes in elections.*

I came to the comments section to comment here the same kind of thing you just said. I noticed that the Muzzamil was opposing the electoral democracy in his entire video but at the end he conclude that the voters must vote on the rational basis rather than amusive basis. This whole idea is contradictory. My believe is that if a person is not perfect to be elected but he is a good amuser, let the people decide to vote him freely. And after time the people will be able to vote rationally. Then the elected person might still an amuser but talented too.

This guy is full of contradiction and confusion. What is free speech: to speak up ur mind. What's a fair election, where people could choose who they deem best. Who are u to question their rationality. Don't ever trust this guy. He is wrong number from the start.

    • @saadullahkhan5151
      @saadullahkhan5151 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Good points, but I think he is trying to make the point that we need to avoid turning a democracy into mere populism. The masses must be criticized since they are the ones who will dictate the course of your future. Just because it is the will of the masses does not mean we need to be reconciled to it. He seems to be going against rallying behind ideologies blindly.
"people's behaviors often stem from ingrained biological factors such as cognitive biases, social influences, and evolutionary instincts, which shape their decision-making processes in elections."
This is exactly what IMO he asks each of us to challenge within ourselves.

MashaAllah, Well explained, It's disheartening to see the consistent trend of candidates representing progressive or left-wing parties losing in Pakistani elections. This video raises crucial questions about the rationality of voting decisions and the importance of informed decision-making in solidifying democracy. Emphasizing the need for examined and rational thinking is paramount, especially when considering the long-term implications of electoral choices. History serves as a poignant reminder of the consequences of voting based solely on emotion, underscoring the necessity for voters to critically evaluate candidates and their agendas.

Looks like SYED Muzammil does not have the guts to point out the amusing deeds of PMLN leaders and politicians, including Nawaz, Maryam and those who say we are Punjabis and using a Galli (Abuse) in public talks is their pride of Punjabis.
He thinks he is Pius because he calls himself Syed, yet he says a measure of these political leaders he accuses is their Sarcasm and Cynicism, yet he is exactly practicing that.
He says it is harder to criticise the Masses compared with Politicians and Establishment (Masses don't jail you Politicians in power and Establishment does; TRY IT).
Yet he does not know the difference between words Criticism (Ghulatian Nikalna, Gaslighting) and Critique (How it could be done better). He speaks with such Munafiqat.
He criticises the illiterate voters and teh poor who are suffereing and thinks they are simply dumb and cant differentiate when they are left unemployed and hungry to commit suicide and when the Politicians/Political Party that looks after them.
He chooses video clips of PTI yet not a single criticism of PPP, where Bilawal Zardari is proud to join Nawaz, who dispersed his mothers photo shopped naked pictures, where is Muzammil's morals then, no mention of Nawaz or Bilawal or the Martial Laws imposed Hakumats of PDM 1, Kakkar caretaker and PDM2. He never mentions the sstate of Sindh, he never mentions the money laundering trails and calls to LHC Chief Justice and attacks on the High Courts by PMLN and on the journalists as approved by the Amir Ul Momenine Nawaz Sharif . The fakeness of criticism is OBVIOUS.
You are not an intellect but an opportunist just like the politicians, trying to sell your drugs you call criticism of Masses, is the falsehood in disguise. SHAME on YOU, now take that as a Criticism from Masses and bilbilow aur, apnaye giraban main jhanko Muzammil.

      * Why the so-called "Democracy" is the key of Human Development? Why not other Political Systems i.e. Authoritarians, Monarchy, Oligarchy, Totalitarianisms, Hybrid?
      * How do you define and expect so-called Democracy in a country of aggressive and religious extremist people [i.e. Punjabi, Pukhtoon, Balochi etc.] Pakistan?
      * As far your concerns of populist symbol and fan club: Democracy is totally based on majority of people's votes and if they vote for a famous or popular ideology or manifesto, how it would be called a Fan Club? Don't you think it is insult of people's conscious when you call the majority of people as Fan Club.
Simply: Prove, Why should I believe what do you believe [for example ANP]? Come on and convince me! I am here to talk.
You know, what this so called democracy brings to us???.... crooks, corrupts, criminals, mafias, gangsters, dynastic politics, incapable, ineffective, inefficient, dumbs, futile, laughable, ludicrous sons and daughters like Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal, son of Molana, Son of Asfand Yaar and many stupid and idiots --- list is too long. I completely get where you're coming from in the video about how people sometimes vote without really knowing who they're voting for, and how that can accidentally bring the wrong kind of leaders into power. But I've got to say, there's more to the story, especially from where I'm standing here in KPK.
You see, around here, it felt like the ANP had a good chunk of support, maybe around 20 to 30% of the seats, at least that's the vibe I got. And then there's Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar. In their areas, it just makes sense for people to back them. The folks in Waziristan, they know the score. They see these two as the only ones really standing up for them against some pretty heavy odds, like the Establishment and the Taliban.
But then, everything goes sideways. How do these guys lose? It's like the whole system's playing a game we're not clued into. Take Mohsin Dawar, for example. The guy was literally shot at by the police when he was just trying to find out what was happening with the vote count in his area. Next thing you know, while he's still in the hospital, they announce the other guy from JUI(F) as the winner. It's like the whole thing was set up from the start.
And it's not just a one-off. It feels like there's this pattern, especially in places like KPK and Balochistan, where anyone who might speak up for the Pashtuns or stand against the Taliban and the powers that be just gets pushed out. PTI's got KPK locked down, but it's not like they're going to challenge the Taliban, which just leaves the door open for things to go back to how they were. And somehow, the Establishment ends up getting paid off by outside interests for letting it all happen.
It's not that PTI didn't win a lot of seats, but the way they've been set up in KPK again, it just feels off. If the Establishment really had it in for PTI, why let them sweep KPK like that, with most of the NA and Provincial seats, and then have them lose almost everywhere else? The numbers just don't add up.
So yeah, it feels like we're all just pawns in this big game, and us Pashtuns, along with other minorities, are going to end up paying the price, yet again. Just watch, it's all going to play out just like it always does.

Is there any effect/point throwing several "quotes of wisdom" from foreign intellects (possibly derived from their own culture at different point of time & in different scenarios) towards the masses?
    Yes, culture makes a difference.
    2. You said, "Masses cheered up when gandapur made that derogatory remark against mariam." Hence, gandapur is a rotten egg. Isn't this reflect more about society than an individual ?
