Hello! I started ballet at 18, went en pointe at 24 and now I have a role as Clara in the nutcracker! It’s truly never too late to start ballet! I also took ballet at college along with Veterinary!

I’ve been doing ballet for 7 years and I just wanted to come on here to give people a warning. Through the screen you see aesthetics, elegance and ease but the reality is harsh. Constant pain, unable to walk after long hard lessons, extreme commitment, not as many aesthetics as you think and STRICT teachers. It’s prison. It’s something you love and can’t let go of but hate and want to leave. It’s not just physically challenging, it’s mentally damaging. I love it you should try sometime:)
How you became ballerina? Are you professional,aren’t you? Or ballet is your hobby? I am want to become ballerina but I’m afraid earn little.. now l am just doing it as a hobby. I don’t now what I need to do?😕
I'm not a professional ballerina, but I do have semi professional lessons and teachers. It depends where you're from! You can and should take lessons as often as possible, train and stretch every single day and try out for as many schools as you can, there you'll learn to become a professional :) good luck!!

@@lillyyt3332 as a beginner classes are not so strict but as you advance and join professional studios and companies the atmosphere is more harsh
