What happens when you sell your soul to the devil

  • This is the unlikely story about how I, former demonolater, had finally seen the light and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and what would have happened to me if I didn't.
    ... That description was the correct length for both TH-cam and Google to only show you that first part. If you want to know the true meaning behind the video (it's not what the description says it is, but there's a reason why the description is there), I would suggest watching it. See it... As an outreach. Over the mountain of SEO. See it as my way as saying "hi, here I am, I might not be like you, but let us talk".

    I have never understood why demons get a bad wrap. People believe what they read and are taught in church. I never felt scared of them. I send them the same love i send everyone else. I have met many "demons" that have become very good friends of mine, and some of them have even helped me improve the lives of people around me. Fear is the humans biggest enemy. It blinds you from the truth. It keeps you from reaching your full potential. It seems as though the things we are "supposed" to fear are things we shouldn't.

    It's so sad that online and on social media 95% of Christian content seems to be of the evangelical fire and brimstone kind. If you ever want to travel up North and visit a church that isn't like that, I can recommend one. 😁

    the video wasn't what i expected and in i'm really glad it wasn't, lmao. i did come here to comment after reading other people's comments. i find it really pathetic that so many christians are driven by fear that is based on complete fiction. so many commenters telling you that hell is real all while ignoring your proves reminded me of how my husband, who -despite currently living a completely secular life, came from a religious background, spent years living in monastery, studied in seminary and technically completed the whole course for an orthodox priest, - used to debate with people that no, hell doesn't exist, or it does but it's a self-imposed misery, losing your own way, destruction of your spirituality at your hand and only your own, and not some weird ass fire pit or some demons that "made them to".* needless to say, he was told that he's uneducated too, despite. you know. the whole actual religious background. says a lot about them...
    people indeed just seek for a way to fight against other people and excuse it as "fighting the devil", when, yes, just like you said, the word is up to interpretation. i personally define "the devil at work" as what these "christians" do, i think coming after those you don't understand and vilify is what "being blinded by demons" is, not people who define said demons as something else and praise them.
    i firmly believe that in the end, we all are working with different aspects of the same thing, we just see and name it in all kinds of different ways based on our mortal lives, perceptions caused by the flesh. but objectively speaking, we all look at the same thing and it's those who insist on separation based on different interpretations of spiritual experiences are the ones who do an actual evil thing.
    *also side note, i can't help but think about psychology of choices here. it's a bit complicated topic and i don't mean to excuse victim blaming in specific severe cases such as rape, however, on broader scale, i noticed long time ago as a survivor myself how many times things i was convinced i was influenced to do or say were rather results of my own habitual thinking and emotion processing patterns. a lot of trauma survivors live on to become offenders and abusers themselves, and here is where i see similarity with spiritual journey. demons, evil entities, whatever anyone wants to call these metaphors for energy/entities, never come uninvited. just like a lot of things we repeat unconsciously, come from within us. and seeing how hell is self-imposed, as opposed to it being some divine punishment (i can dive into the idea that this is also a rather mortal idea, based on monkey-brain hierarchy habits that are still hard-wired into our apish brains, and people just project this flesh based concept onto divine beings... as another way to ditch responsibility. but that's a whole other topic lmao), i suspect that a lot of these "christians" are living a petty spiritual life, probably having similar psychological issues as well, thought to a much lesser degree than extreme cases when victims go on to become criminals. i mean, how couldn't they, living in fear instead of love, spreading judgment that isn't even their job to begin with but god's, and excusing hatred for those they don't understand (which is basic, tribalist, and yeah, monkey-brained instinct, nothing divine about it at all)? so sad to watch

    For a while now I've considered Satan to be the anthropomorphic representation of what Saturn is in astrology. The disciplinarian, demonized because his role is unpleasant, but to be chosen for such a role in the first place he would have to be one of the most trusted angels. As Saturn is also the one to bring harsh lessons which can be perceived as punishment, Satan is perceived as a "punisher" of "evil-doings".

    When you follow the left hand path and practice demonolatry it's a commitment and a road you go down. There's often a huge stigma or its just dismissed as a ridiculous absurdity. That's selling your soul to the devil. It costs in a sense. Maybe that's the closest interpretation I can think of to "selling your soul to the Devil."

    • @mirta000
      @mirta000  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I would have honestly assumed that same would be for any really spiritual person on any path of spirituality. It shouldn't be just a few words, it should be actions and commitments. That's why people that do just limit themselves to "oh I accepted Jesus into my heart, so now my spirituality is done and I can do whatever I want" are so odd to me.

    I found that most "Christian's" dont actually talk to God they just go straight off the bible and develop their own twisted interpretation of the bible which is why they're like 20 different types of religions to worship one God 😂🤣. Until that "Christian" actually develop a real relationship with God they will be filled with hatred and reject people like you and me.... me personally i dont care what you claim to worship or identify as because we all are here on this rock theres no use fighting over small things like that.... i know the truth and im glad i figured it out....

    As a "spooky witch" myself I burst out laughing at the spooky witch part. I too am so spooky for (checks notes) having a relationship with the divine without human intermediaries and that isn't based on slavery and fear. Idk, having felt it divine love seems a bit incompatible with the later notions.

  • @gentlemanx7987
    @gentlemanx7987 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Interesting. And especially when viewed from a point of balance of the two dual points. I also use the "Coin" analogy alot. To everything that is, there is an equal "counter-thing". Which means whenever we create something "good", we also inevitably create the potential of "evil". And "good" and "evil" are just our human labels for things that are, in essence, none of these two but rather just one thing, viewed from two sides, like a coin. And it slowly dawns on me that we, as a humanity, are made - by whomever it might be - to be ("be" as in literally: "embody") balance. Non-judgement. Unconditional love, which means true, real endless freedom for everyone, that can not be archieved with any judgement of any kind. "I don't care about you and what you think and what you do" is a more loving statement than "What you think is wrong" or "I hate you". Also, in addition to all of that, what if God is (litarally) all that is. All of it, all of existence. Wouldn't that mean that God is us? That God is the every devil / the every satan / ev-er-y-thing? And wouldn't that mean that all that is, everything in existance, the seen, the unseen, the known, the unknown, is God? Or at least... of God? Many thanks for this interesting video and your interesting expression and reflection of self. Much love. Unconditionally.

    • @gentlemanx7987
      @gentlemanx7987 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@NightmareRex6 Hey. Yeah, our belief-systems create our lense through which we perceive reality. Therefore, creating an illusion/idea that makes people buy into this particular belief is powerfull. However, the only thing truely eternal is us. That which is all there is, is everything including us. Humans tend to believe that "God" is everywhere, all knowing and has always been, yet we exclude ourselves from that. "God" made us, we say, but he is "everything BUT us". And that does not even cause a ripple in this constructed idea. The All that is, is simply that: All that is. Angels, plants, elements, thoughts, feelings, demons, humans, aliens, everything known and everything unknown, every possibility that could have been, might be now and might be in the future. It is - quite literally - All that is. If something is, meaning if something exists, it is God - or, at the very least of God. So, if you and I and everyone else is part of the One that is all that is, then we too must be eternal. Of course not the body and not the personality, and even thoughts are flimsy little things and all of that changes, and - at some point - maybe get's created anew, but our essence, our true nature... is eternal. And we - as parts of the One that is all there is - chose what we believe to be true and therefore what we experience. If you buy into the idea of Hell, you might have an experience that correlates. If you don't, you don't. If you believe yourself to be powerfull, you are. If you believe yourself to not be powerfull, you - as a part of the eternal, everlasting One - use your power to create the idea and the illusion of powerlessness, because you think it serves you in some way or you actually just want to experience that. There is no hell. There is only... this. I send love.

    The reason Beelzebub was popular with exorcisms wasn't because he was a nice guy who just wanted to help humans. It was because the exorcist would bind him first to control his various legions of demons. A common practice of exorcism in fact was to summon an opposing demon to the one plaguing you, like summoning Pazuzu to cast out Lamashtu, who had a tendency to feed on unborn children and cause stillborns. Jesus did the former to make a point to the Pharisees, not because he's a benign entity.

      You're correct that there's no such thing as a benign entity, however portraying someone elses God as somehow above other Gods, while dragging other Gods from other cultures down is really a dirty practice. Bael Ze Bub was a good. A respected God. A God that specialized in healing. Jesus did not do any bindings, because unlike Lilith that was always seen as a demon, Bael Ze Bub would have not been seen as a negative entity.

      So, the Hell that you are thinking about only exists in popular fiction. The depiction that you're talking about comes from the word used to describe the burning trash pit outside Jerusalem. As I don't live there and now is 2000 years later and I have not committed any crimes, I have no reason to believe that my funeral would be held by throwing me with the trash unceremoniously. The name "Hell" comes from Goddess "Hel" and it entirely belongs to the Norse mythology. Hades has Hades, Zeus has Olympus, none of them are seen as demons. As a Roman Catholic, I disagree with some of the points you have made about the "morning star", Lucifer. I believe that the idea of Lucifer should not be looked at as something beautiful, but as something deeply tragic.
    In Luke 10, it connects with the passage from Isiaah that you quoted, saying "“I watched Satan fall from heaven like a flash of lightning" which shows how the once bright angel had fallen down into the nothingness. To me, this is a warning against self-obsession. The message you speak of selflessness does not seem to be immediately clear in the path of following Lucifer (which you might say the act of giving mankind the knowledge of good and evil was selfless, but I see as a condemning of humanity to commit evil).
    The story of pride and self-reliance is one that can lead to self-destruction, which I can attest to having have some family members who were "witches". It seems a better path would be through a community that relies on each other, such as the church.
    Interesting video though and it is good to see another Morrowind and Daggerfall enjoyer.

      I find that the name used for the planetary body is very unfortunate. Greeco-Roman Lucifer features in my country's religion and so does his mother Aurora.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucifer
      Sometimes to avoid any association with the Biblical text I tend to say that I'm following Phosphorus.
      So in Biblical verse you have a comparison with the planetary body that is personified in another religion as a light-bringer and is seen as Venus in the Morning. This association is then taken to mean the name of whatever fallen one the verse alludes to and it muddies up from there.

      @@mirta000 I am not very familiar with Lucifarianism, so forgive me if I misunderstand. Is this religion more in line with non-biblical paganism? If so, is it a specific pantheon or a general acceptance of the Indo-European gods that have influenced many pantheons?

      Considering that a lot of Pagan faiths are approached in a more person setting, rather than group setting, if it is non-Biblical paganism, or if it incorporates Biblical elements would entirely vary person to person. So there are very much Biblical Luciferians and very much non Biblical Luciferians. I personally see the spirit more through the lens of non-biblical Paganism.
      Cultures used to share, so often times you'll see the same, or similar Gods pop up in many different cultures. The lines of what is the same God and what are many different Gods is also something that every person decides on their own - some people take the same characteristics and choose to see it as one Deity with many faces, others only do so if there is strict historical evidence of the pantheon moving from one culture to another, the third type of person will treat all the Gods from different pantheons as entirely separate even if they share both name and qualities of a God from another culture.

    Well, answering you first question why “selling soul” matters. Intention matters. The agreement matters. What this agreement implies matters. Your future step matters. And all of this just goes side ways from walking with Jesus as you yourself mentioned. It doesn’t matter if you serve Wishna, Lucifer, the Moon, what matters if you choose God the Father and his holy son Jesus. Why ? Because that’s the only true choice you can make since the times of Adam and Eve - be with God and obey his (moral) ultimate law for the goodness of all kinds, or you want “do your thing”. This world is terrible because Adam and Eve choose to do their own thing. And I wish everyday we would just live under authority of God because he is life, truth, and he is good! If you worship anything else, meaning you are not with one God, the consequences will be here or in the afterlife or both. But the worst is that you are just worship something that doesn’t exist or doesn’t have your best interest in mind. Just as snake in Genesis ruined our heaven, so your demons ruin life here on Earth. I am curious to see where your path will lead you because I heard many testimonies from ex witches and satanists and they all had very tough path for then to choose Jesus and finally find peace

As far as people's spirituality is concerned, there are niche spiritualities that partake in "blood magic" (or in other words workings that would also have a drop of your own blood in them), or traditional faiths that include sharing your food with your Gods (so during ceremonies your village would slaughter lifestock in the name of your Gods, not just to feed the villagers).
      I feel like there's a Hollywood caused perception that demon worshippers, Pagans, Satanists (insert term here) are gathering in the woods and slaughtering things in the name of their religion. That's not really the case and wouldn't really benefit anyone's faith.

    Do not allow the devil to usurp your place with God. Jesus Christ loves you more than you can fathom.

      Jesus Christ can buy me some chocolates and flowers and take me on a date then, if he wishes. However he does not, because we don't have that kind of relationship. I would suggest not projecting feelings of entities on other people. I don't think that spirits even appreciate that. Do remember that Jesus Christ has personal autonomy too and can seek out his followers as he wishes. Being an advertising machine for one regime does not actually help their work.

      @@mirta000You may appear fragile, but let me be clear: Hell is not a place of peace. The same demons you mention, Hades and Zeus, along with other malevolent spirits, will greet you with deep hatred if you depart this earth without surrendering your life to Jesus Christ. Then, you will understand that the judgement of God is not to be joked with. Please, heaven and hell are real.

      I repeat my comment: "So, the Hell that you are thinking about only exists in popular fiction. I hope that this clarifies your understanding of theology.".

      Jesus Christ isn't seeking followers.
      Jesus Christ seeks the Truth.
      You seek the Truth as well. That is your purpose. Isn't it?
      Jesus says SEEK and you will FIND. What will you "find"?
      You will find that a Super-Intelligence created you.
      We once called that Intelligence GOD.
      Jesus "appeared" to die. No one dies.
      No one has ever died.
      Period.
      vaya con Dios.

      @JimmyBond-rg6gt the truth that we both found is entirely different from one another suggesting that faith is seeped in personal truths.

      Embrace yourself, embrace your beliefs, embrace your likes and dislikes bravely, as you're not in middle school anymore and the world is a bit more open than the school yard ever was.

      It's hard to have an opinion onto something that I never played. It has very positive reviews though, so I assume it's probably pretty good! :)
