Cyrax whole gameplay is literally just get one hit and then keep throwing shit till you die. She doesn't even have to get a hit fr, she can just command grab you one time to open you up and then you're just watching your character bounce around the screen for at least the rest of the round.
@@garfusso nah you would literally only be delaying the inevitable because the moment you stand up you're going to have to deal with it. And if you use your armoured wake up you might temporarily get yourself out of the blender once or twice but anybody with half a brain would just start waiting for you to waste your meter and then carry on as they were. There really isn't a definitive counter, you kinda just got try to ram your offense down their throat or hope whoever you're playing makes mistakes.

Shang Tsung and Takeda do all that stuff and they get more damage, but everyone calls them low tier.. Then people could be like, "Well, it's not about the damage bro!" Actually, it kind of is. Why am I doing all this work for half the pay? Also, her J2 is god awful. The hurt box is severely flawed. I can't be missing my jump punch combos like, at all. Because it's already a bad idea, but eons worse if it doesn't connect..
With Cyrax it's not about the damage tho. She can literally do those same 22-28 percent combos over and over because she can keep opening you up so it doesn't matter that she doesn't consistently get high damage. Death by 1000 cuts.
@daelin9759 I understand the concept but reality tells a different story. In fact, I've yet to play against a single Cyrax in KL. Everyone's using Noob and Sektor - some of them are nasty, and I'm learning all 3 and Cyrax has been the least effective. Like yeah I get how "in theory" she could be super great if you play a specific way, but without the damage you're only doing more work to compensate. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm gonna keep exploring but as an Ashrah main I don't see how she could possibly be better than what I'm already using.
@neoconnor4395 noob basically has no mix, sektors pokes are worse than the rest of the cast except for quan chi and with her 5050s you have to commit or you don't get damage and without motaro or kunglao, sektor has worse damage and less combo routes than cyrax does. So why would it matter if you have alot of damage if you can't get any of it without mix or pressure like cyrax does

I could be wrong but narrowing everything down to "pokes" strikes me as null and void of logic. They said the same thing about Homelander, Sonicfox even put him in either C or D tier, and look at what happened with him. "His D1 has too many frames!" Its like, obviously that's not the only thing that matters.

It's too low. Everyone was complaining about Sub Zero and Scorpions damage and Cyrax is way lower than they were! I honestly don't know what they were thinking. In order to be effective at the eldergod level you need access to at least 1 30% combo. Getting Cyrax to 30% is a struggle, especially when you're up against a Takeda with 1100 health from Jax, taking up to 50% for just touching you. Like, I honestly don't know what Cyrax is gonna do.
Cyrax is actually better than both noob and sektor because with the bombs youll be forced to block her mix ups and with the right if she uses cyrax kameo you won't be able to break any of her combos and ontop of that her grab is a mid not a high so you'll be forced to open up to her regardless what you do

So you want cyrax to have her bomb set ups, one of the fastest tele’s in the game, a Down Back 3 that when its amplified in the air DRAINS YOUR OPPONENTS SUPER METER, and to hit people for 40+ % on touch. Not only are you unreasonable you are unrealistic. Online complainers like you already making their rounds. Imagine if she killed in 2 touches on top of every thing i named. You would be part of the SHE NEEDS NERFS club. If you want the bigger numbers go play the characters with no mix.. you’ll find them, like takeda lol
