Real Talk...when my guy says "Watch ya tone"...I think ya know u right, and I correct myself. Same way I tell my guy, 'Don't talk to me like that.' And he checks himself ad corrects himself. What WE don't want to do is have bad habits and allow any future kids to pick up those habits. Also, I am the person that needs space sometimes and it has nothing to do with my guy. He had to understand that about me. Let me be me. He gets it now and I appreciate it, but in the beginning I was like...ugh...maybe I should dump him lol!!!

I think what's interesting about Noname is that she didn't mention J-Cole initially. She made a general statement that could apply to a number of 'woke' rappers.
