What you do is appreciable. But you have room for improvements.
1. the scratches that won't go with P1000, will not fade with buffing and polishing.
2. you should do everything step by step for a whole panel at least. I saw you went on P1000 sanding and some curves were not sanded before. or when you haven't completed the whole sanding, you started buffing on a part of the hood. this will affect your final result.
